On August 26, we stayed for one night for two people on a great-value Plan (JPY 4,800) through a Yahoo Travel promotion, including both breakfast and dinner. The Room was a 10-tatami space with an enclosed veranda area furnished with a table and chairs. The wallpaper was new, everything was spotless, and it felt very comfortable. The Onsen we had been looking forward to did not disappoint—the large public bath was spacious and relaxing. The open-air rock bath was also very large and truly soothing. And then dinner—the buffet we had been waiting for! There was a wide selection of Japanese, Western, and Chinese dishes, all delicious. In particular, the high-quality beef could be enjoyed as sukiyaki or teppanyaki-style grilled on an iron plate—and seconds were unlimited, making it the best dinner ever. Soft drinks, ice cream, desserts, fruit, and more were also plentiful; considering how inexpensive this Plan was, we honestly felt almost sorry to receive so much. Breakfast was equally impressive: all-you-can-eat salmon roe along with tuna and squid for luxurious seafood bowls. There were so many other options that we couldn’t possibly try everything. Items were replenished immediately when they ran low—truly attentive service in every way. We were simply amazed throughout our stay. Every staff member worked efficiently and professionally; it was a pleasure to see. Thank you very much for taking such good care of us.

I stayed for one night with my child while sightseeing in Hachimantai.The spacious, comfortable twin Room was wonderful, and the view from the 10th-floor window was spectacular.The amenities at the washbasin were perfectly stocked—so much so that I didn’t even need to use the Onsen (lol).The drip coffee on the first floor was delicious; I brought it back to the Room and relaxed.I went to dinner right at the start time, and I saw some desperate, not-so-adult behavior—including myself.Some items like sukiyaki ingredients and salmon roe ran out, so I waited a little, but they kept refilling everything one after another, so it was fine.The sukiyaki and steak meat were excellent—I was genuinely impressed as I ate.It felt almost too good for the special renovation commemorative rate.Breakfast was served in a quiet venue next door.There were many options, and I was happy to have salmon roe again in the morning.The soft-serve ice cream after the meal had a firmer texture with a refreshing flavor—just how I like it.I was satisfied with both the Room and the meals.In recent years I’ve often stayed in small Business Hotels, so it had been a while since I could spend time comfortably in such a spacious Room and bed.Thank you very much.I would love to stay again if I have another opportunity.
