Kurobe Sun Valley Hotel

We stayed here on the day we visited Kurobe Dam. It was conveniently close to the Ogizawa parking lot.Check-in was a little busy, but after that it never felt crowded, and we were able to take a relaxing bath and enjoy our meal at an unhurried pace, which helped us recover from sightseeing fatigue. The staff member who assisted us during dinner appeared to be from overseas, and their explanations and service were perfectly timed and very pleasant.

We stayed at this accommodation while visiting Minowa's Akasoba no Sato, Azumino's Wasabi Farm, and Kurobe Dam. The building does feel a bit old, but it was kept very clean. Above all, the staff provided exceptionally pleasant service. During meals, while the dishes were not particularly elaborate, the staff warmly engaged with us with smiles and promptly cleared empty plates, making for an enjoyable dining experience. When I sat on the chair in the room and sank into it a bit too much, I laughed to myself thinking, "Oh? Am I too heavy?"
