The concept room is innovative.

I stayed at SETRE Canal Nagoya. As it has only recently opened, the entire Accommodation—from the guest rooms and large public bath to the lounge—felt very clean, and I had a comfortable stay. The warm wood-accented design and the calm atmosphere overlooking the Nakagawa Canal were also appealing. In particular, the concept rooms offered a unique space unlike a typical Hotel, making for a wonderful, out-of-the-ordinary experience. Considering the Facility features and services provided, I also felt the Accommodation Fee was relatively reasonable and offered great value for money. Overall, I was very satisfied with the Accommodation itself. On the other hand, there were areas where I hope to see improvement in customer service. It was disappointing that many staff members did not greet guests even when we passed each other inside. In addition, when an issue occurred during my stay, the response did not feel sufficiently responsible, and explanations and follow-up were inadequate. I would like to see hospitality raised to match the same high level as the Facility quality. Because this is a Hotel with plenty of appeal that I would like to stay at again, I hope that improving service quality will make it even more highly regarded.
