    Unfortunately.

    I arrived at 2:00 PM and asked the front desk, and they told me check-in is at 3:00 PM. I understand that. It was raining and I was tired, so I offered to pay an early check-in fee, but they kept saying the Room hadn’t been cleaned yet. I wondered if there really were no other Rooms available. When I asked if 2:30 PM would be possible, they said, “It will be 3:00.” There was no flexibility. I know I was asking for an exception, but it made me think about what hospitality means. Breakfast was at Royal Host; the service felt impersonal and the food was ordinary. Disappointing overall. The Room had been renovated and was clean.

    We had a very comfortable stay!

    I stayed for two nights to attend events in Yokohama and Tokyo. The location was convenient, with easy access from both Haneda Airport and the nearest station, Shinagawa, making it easy to get around. It was also great that I could choose as many amenities as I needed, such as basic skincare (SEKKISEI) and tea. It was quiet at night and I slept very well. This Hotel is perfect for a trip focused on going out on your own.

    There is an uphill slope from Shinagawa Station.

    There is a gentle slope, but it’s not bothersome. The room was very clean and comfortable; it would be even better if the bathroom weren’t a unit bath. I’d like to stay here again when I visit Tokyo.

    The bath was great.

    The place was clean and simple overall, and I felt relaxed as if I were in my own room. The bathtub was also spacious and spotless, so I could unwind.

    The air conditioning didn’t work well.

    It’s fairly close to the station, but the road up to the Hotel is uphill, so it was a bit tough walking with heavy luggage. I didn’t use it, but it was nice that there’s a Royal Host on the first floor and a movie theater and shopping mall nearby. The Room was generally spacious and reasonably priced, which was great. However, the air conditioner didn’t work well— even when set to the lowest temperature (17°C), it never got cool, so I felt hot throughout my stay. I was also disappointed that the bathtub was a bit small and there wasn’t a bath chair. The Room wear (pajamas) had thick fabric, and since the Room wasn’t cooling properly, it was far too hot to wear. Personally, I also would have preferred a looser fit. There was construction nearby, but the Room was quiet and it didn’t bother me at all. I stayed for two nights, and I appreciated that there were enough replacement water bottles and slippers for both nights. The bed and pillows were comfortable as well. The front desk staff were kind and courteous, which made me very happy. Thank you very much.

    I stayed here for one night on a business trip. The Room was a bit small, but it was clean, and both the futon and the bed were comfortable. The staff were also courteous, and I had a pleasant stay. Breakfast is served as a set meal—Japanese or Western—with access to the drink bar. Personally, I preferred this style to a buffet because it allowed me to eat calmly and at my own pace. The Hotel is close to the station, making it very convenient. I would definitely like to stay here again on my next business trip.

    It was clean, but…

    The renovated room was very clean, and I had a comfortable stay. However, one disappointing point was the bathroom shower curtain. When I opened the bathroom door during my initial check after check-in, there was a strong damp smell. The curtain felt wet to the touch, and it was clear the odor was coming from it. Even if the property is busy due to its convenient location near the station and it’s difficult to replace items frequently, I don’t think it’s acceptable to accommodate guests when something smells that bad… Other than that, I was very satisfied. If there were no issues, I would recommend it to friends as well.

    I like it because it’s conveniently located near the station, with many restaurants nearby. It’s clean, the Facility is well equipped, and the staff are helpful, making for a comfortable stay.

    User-friendly Hotel

    I stayed at Takanawa Prince Hotel, which I had often passed by on my way for years. With accommodation rates rising, I chose it because it was reasonably priced and had been renovated. The hotel was clean and very comfortable to use. The front desk staff greeted me politely, and I also liked the coffee machine at the entrance. I would like to stay again. Just one thing: using the app, I could watch YouTube and other content, but the volume was so low that I could barely hear anything. I'm not sure whether this is related to the hotel or not.

    I would like to stay here again.

    It was a lovely, clean Room with a view of Tokyo Tower. They kindly stored our luggage both before and after check-out, which was very helpful. It’s also conveniently located near Shinagawa Station. I’d like to stay here again when visiting Shinagawa.

    Thank you for upgrading our Room free of charge on this occasion. However, as I mentioned, the Room was not properly cleaned. I was also disappointed with the staff’s response. In addition, although we had a Plan with breakfast included, it seemed very busy, and I was concerned when a staff member said, “I’m busy right now. I can’t help you.”

    I’d like to stay here again.

    Used this hotel to get to Haneda early the next day. The twin Room was more spacious and comfortable than expected. Perhaps because it was recently renovated, both the Room and bathroom were clean and very nice. Having direct access to Royal Host was also a big help during the rainy season. I’d like to stay again.

    It was very good.

    I stayed alone on short notice for a business trip, but I don’t like cramped spaces, so I chose a twin Room. It was a Multiple Night Stay, and even with No Meals Included there was a Royal Host downstairs. Shinagawa Station was also very close, which made meeting up with friends convenient. The Room was quiet and the bed was comfortable—I had a completely worry-free stay! I was also happy to be able to see Tokyo Tower. I plan to stay here again when I come to Tokyo. Thank you very much.

    Recommended Hotels

    I usually stayed at a different Hotel, but I chose this one because it was renovated in February. It’s close to Shinagawa Station, so even with heavy luggage it wasn’t a hassle. The Room had no steps after the renovation, was clean and well maintained, and had a large-screen TV. There was complimentary bottled water in the Room every day, and coffee in the lobby that you can take up to your Room as well. There is a Royal Host on the first floor, which is very convenient. The price was reasonable, and I would like to stay here again next time.

    Although the Room wa...

    Although the Room was compact, it had everything we needed and was very well cleaned. We could see Tokyo Tower from the window. There was a tea table (with two chairs), a vanity (with a tray for valuables and accessories), and a full-length mirror—thoughtful touches throughout. The separate washing area in the bathroom was also much appreciated! The hair dryer was powerful, too. Breakfast at Royal Host offers a nice change of pace and is enjoyable. For dinner, we had steak at Outback on the first floor. The welcome drink was also appreciated. With Hotel prices rising these days, it’s hard to find another Hotel with such great value for money.

    Great location.

    Located near Shinagawa Station with convenient access to Haneda Airport for your return trip, the Hotel is easy to find, so I was able to get there quickly even on my first visit. The room had been renovated and was clean and comfortable. I would like to stay again if I have the opportunity.

    Close to the station and newly renovated, the Room felt very clean. The shower pressure was good, and the refrigerator cooled well. It was disappointing that check-out was at 10:00; I would like it to be at least 11:00. It was nice that Tokyo Tower could be seen from the Room.

    First stay since the renovation

    This was my first stay since the renovation, and both the property and the Room were very clean. Check-in and check-out have also been automated, which I found very convenient.

    I had stayed at this Hotel before the renovation, so I chose it again this time. Honestly, I only remembered the location, but it was very convenient with easy access from Shinagawa Station.     It was newly renovated, and we had a comfortable stay.

    I stayed for three nights. The Room is compact, but the bed was comfortable, and it was quiet so I slept well. The renovated bathroom facilities were also comfortable. Breakfast at the Royal Host next door on the first floor was very convenient. I would stay again.

    Renovated

    This was my first stay since the renovation. I usually stay at EX, and the Room felt completely brand-new—the bed was clean, and the toilet was the latest model. It was totally different from before. The front desk has automated machines now, but staff were also there to help. The location is great, and although the price has gone up, they put me on a higher floor—maybe because I’m a regular guest. It was quiet and relaxing.

    The Room was very clean. Tokyo Tower looked magical from the window. Since it was raining, they kindly lent me an umbrella. The front desk staff seemed more courteous and professional than before.

    Conveniently located near the station with easy access.

    This was my first stay. Although there was large-scale construction next door, the Accommodation and Room were very quiet. From the upper floors, we could see Tokyo Tower and the aquarium, and the night view was beautiful as well. The breakfast venue (Royal Host) opened a little after the scheduled time. The Japanese breakfast was delicious, with soft rice. This was also my first time seeing a sewing kit among the amenities, and since buttons can come off while traveling, I thought it was a great touch. I would like to stay here again when I visit Shinagawa.

    We’re back open — thank you for your patience.

    This was my first stay since the renovation, and I had a very comfortable time. As always, I’m impressed by the efficient, no-frills design. While many of my regular hotels in Tokyo have been shifting one after another into the luxury category, I’ve relied on your Accommodation for business trips ever since you first opened in Shinagawa. I’ve already made Reservations for this month and next month as well (otherwise it’s as competitive as ever). I would also appreciate it if you could consider renovating the twin rooms too.

    Newly renovated and nicely kept.

    Recently renovated and fairly clean, but pricey for a typical Business Hotel. I guess that’s due to the location… Nothing particularly good or bad: the station is reasonably close, and there’s also a convenience store nearby. There is no taxi stand or smoking area. You’ll need to go as far as the Prince.

    A beautifully renovated Room that is very clean.

    I stayed after the renovation and reopening in late February, and everything was new and very pleasant. What I liked: (1) Separate top-and-bottom pajamas (2) The bathroom is a unit bath, but it’s spacious (3) The cups were large mugs (4) There were matcha latte and coffee dispensers in the lobby, available anytime What I didn’t like: (1) My Room was the third one from the elevator, and I couldn’t sleep because the “ding” sound every time the elevator stopped was far too loud from early morning. (I think the volume can be lowered, so it should be turned down much more—and there’s no need for a sound on floors other than the lobby.) They changed my Room for the second night to one on the far right side (south side), farthest from the elevator, and I slept very well. For anyone who wants to sleep in, this elevator noise is a serious issue. It becomes quite noticeable from around 5:00 a.m. Also, housekeeping starts after 8:00 a.m., so Rooms closer to the elevator can be noisy with various sounds. Rooms on the left side (north side) of the elevator hall are noisy but have a Tokyo Tower view. The right-side Rooms have a poor view. Still, it’s close to the station and—most importantly—new, so I recommend it.
