    Helpful and Detailed Services

    During my long trip, I sent souvenirs and documents home, and a small Yamato Transport box was provided. It was convenient as I had a few items to send ahead. I have stayed at various hotels before, but most of the time only large boxes were available, forcing me to overpack souvenirs. This time, the perfectly sized box was very helpful. Also, thank you for smoothly arranging an early morning taxi reservation.

    This was my first time using this service.

    It was a short stay, but thank you for your hospitality. The service, Facility, amenities, cleanliness—everything was excellent and reasonably priced. The location is right in the heart of the downtown area. I will definitely stay at Richmond Hotel Kumamoto Shinshigai again when I visit Kumamoto. Thank you very much!

    Conveniently located

    Very fortunate to book a budget-friendly price on IKYU and stay at the Richmond Hotel. The hotel staff were very friendly and even fulfilled requests submitted via email before arrival, which was highly satisfying. I hope to have the opportunity to stay at the Richmond Hotel again.

    Convenient location

    We were fortunate to book a budget-friendly price on IKYU, which allowed us the opportunity to stay at Richmond Hotel. The hotel staff provided very friendly service and fulfilled our requests made via email before arrival, leaving us very satisfied. We hope to have the chance to stay at Richmond Hotel again.

    First Time at Richmond

    I stayed at the Richmond Hotel, as I like Royal Host and heard it is part of the same group. Overall, it was neither outstanding nor disappointing. The calm front desk made check-in and check-out smooth. I had high expectations for breakfast, but there were only two Royal Host-style menu items. I ended up choosing one of them, the curry, which was delicious. However, I was hoping for more Royal Host menu options, so that part was a bit disappointing. The hotel is located right at the entrance of the arcade in Shinshigai, making it perfect for those with business in this area or those looking to enjoy a night out in Shinshigai.

    First Trip to Kumamoto

    This was my first time using this Hotel. The explanation at check-in was very clear. I ended up creating a membership card. When leaving the Hotel, the staff would say "Have a nice day," and upon returning, "Welcome back." The staff's service was excellent. The Room was clean, and I enjoyed the delicious breakfast. I would like to stay at this Hotel again when traveling to Kumamoto.

    It was comfortable.

    It was easy to move around even in the rain as you can mostly pass through covered areas from Sakuramachi. The proximity to Sakuramachi was also a plus. The hotel's amenities were the type you pick up from the first floor, which was nice as they included bath additives. The room towels had some yellowish spots, which was a bit concerning. Also, I thought the air conditioning was a bit loud. The ticking of the clock by the bedside also bothered me, so I moved it closer to the entrance. Other than that, it was very comfortable.
