    A Luxurious Retreat

    We stayed here as a couple. Even though it’s for only one party, the Accommodation offers not only three Japanese-style rooms, but also a pleasant bedroom upstairs—truly luxurious. In the storehouse at the back, there is a spacious, spotless bath available 24 hours a day. Sake glasses are also provided. You can enjoy delicious coffee freshly ground from beans. And the highlight was the dining. The kaiseki meal served at a counter reserved just for our party was breathtakingly delicious. Since I don’t drink alcohol, I chose the non-alcohol pairing. For dessert, we stepped out onto the veranda and relaxed completely—looking out over the garden with soft chill music playing via Bluetooth. It was a wonderful Accommodation that made us realize what true luxury of doing nothing really means.

    A Harmony of Tradition and Modernity

    Four close friends and I stayed here. No clock, no smartphone—just time that naturally resets your senses as the standard. The historic building has been thoughtfully renewed with a modern touch, and the interior is filled with beautiful design details throughout. Traditional elements unique to a Japanese house, such as sliding doors and transoms, have been carefully preserved, creating an effortless harmony between tradition and modern comfort. What stayed with me most was the Japanese garden and the veranda overlooking it. Sitting on the veranda and gazing at the garden, I lost track of time and felt as if I had become part of the scenery. The bath is set in a renovated storehouse, with high ceilings that create an elegant, open atmosphere. Soaking in the tub while enjoying views of the Japanese garden as borrowed scenery was truly exceptional. Completely removed from everyday life, I was able to forget everything and relax from the heart. Meals are served at a luxurious counter. The Japanese cuisine features plenty of local ingredients, each dish prepared with great care; both quality and portion size were deeply satisfying. This Accommodation is especially recommended for anyone seeking ultimate relaxation, wanting to treat themselves to something special, or looking for an extraordinary escape from daily life.
