Very satisfied

The meals were truly delicious and beautifully presented, and the wine pairing was outstanding. The Room and the open-air bath were also clean, stylish, and very satisfying. However, there was one issue: the first impression at arrival was poor, and it left me feeling unsettled for a while. I arrived a little early, just after 2:00 p.m. before check-in time, so I left my suitcase outside the entrance and spent some time looking at the garden. An older woman came from somewhere and was about to go inside through the entrance, so I greeted her, but she simply shut the door behind her without responding. Even though she should have realized I was a guest, when I opened the door she looked me up and down and said in an extremely annoyed tone, “It’s before check-in time.” She remained irritated while I filled out the registration card and throughout her explanations as well, which made me feel very uncomfortable. Right after arriving, I thought I had made a mistake choosing this Hotel! Thankfully all of the other staff were pleasant, but first impressions really matter. Aside from that, my stay was very comfortable overall.
