    Overall hospitality and comfort are poor.

    I stayed on the 10th day after opening. Perhaps because the staff were nervous, there were few smiles and not much explanation. For the in-house guidance, I was told, “Please check it on the Room TV...”. At checkout, I was kept waiting for each step of the reception process, and due to awkward handling by different staff members, there were some miscommunications in the guidance. The Facility setup and design create an adult atmosphere with a refined feel. However, perhaps because it is close to Canal City, many guests were young women, groups of young men, and casual inbound solo travelers. In the lobby, some guests spread out their suitcases and took over sofas while reorganizing their luggage. In the large public bath, a group of young women were extremely loud—squealing and shouting as they played around. The Room design is inconvenient. The sink area is cramped; you have to bend down carefully to wash your face without splashing water everywhere. There is no chair. The towels are stiff (worn out), and after wiping my face lint stuck to my skin and took time to remove. The restaurant atmosphere is nice, but when regulars came in after work they talked loudly at the bar counter nonstop. The food itself wasn’t bad, but the final glass of water tasted like tap water and left an unpleasant aftertaste. Although it aims to be a stylish hidden Accommodation for adults—and costs more than a business hotel—I felt corners had been cut throughout. Above all, overall hospitality was low and it left me exhausted. Disappointing.

    It doesn’t feel like a RIHGA Royal at all.

    It took quite a long time to find parking. The surrounding area gets heavily congested, which makes it difficult. Paid parking lots are also expensive, and if you look for a cheaper option, it ends up being farther away. When I was struggling, the staff at a nearby post office kindly helped me. The Hotel staff were dismissive and unhelpful, so their assistance was appreciated. I was simply told that there is no parking available, so you need to research it yourself. It’s an ordinary Business Hotel with minimal amenities—far from the image of Rihga Royal.
