    Overall hospitality and comfort are poor.

    I stayed on the 10th day after opening. Perhaps because the staff were nervous, there were few smiles and not much explanation. For guidance inside the building, I was told, “Please check on the Room TV...” At checkout, I was kept waiting for each step of the reception process, and due to awkward handling by staff there were some miscommunications in the guidance. The Facility setup and design create an adult atmosphere with a subdued elegance. However, perhaps because it is close to Canal City, many guests were young women, groups of young men, and casual inbound independent travelers. In the lobby, some people spread out their suitcases and took over sofas while organizing their belongings. In the large public bath, a group of young women got very loud—squealing and shouting as they played around. The Room design is inconvenient. The washbasin area is narrow; you have to bend down carefully while trying not to splash water just to wash your face. There is no chair. The towels are stiff (worn out), and after wiping my face lint stuck to my skin and took time to remove. The restaurant atmosphere is nice, but when regulars come in after work they talk loudly at the bar counter nonstop. The food itself wasn’t bad, but at the end we were served cold water that tasted like tap water and left an unpleasant aftertaste. Although it aims to be a stylish hidden Accommodation for adults—and rates are higher than business hotels—I felt corners had been cut throughout. Above all, overall hospitality was low and it left me tired. Disappointing.

    It doesn’t feel like a Rihga Royal at all.

    It took quite a long time to find parking. The surrounding area gets heavily congested, which makes it difficult. Coin-operated parking lots are also expensive, and if you look for a cheaper option, you may have to park farther away. When I was struggling, the staff at a nearby post office kindly helped me. The Hotel staff were dismissive and unhelpful, so their assistance was appreciated. They simply told me there is no parking available, so you need to research it yourself. It’s an ordinary Business Hotel with minimal amenities—far from the image of Rihga Royal.
