My husband chose this Accommodation for my birthday, and we stayed here.

I often look for Accommodations with an open-air bath in the Room, and I chose this place almost by chance because it simply looked nice—but my spouse and I both love rivers, and being able to enjoy a snowy-view bath while looking out at the river was absolutely amazing. Maybe because we stayed on a weekday (Thursday), we happened to be the only guests. At first I felt bad about that, but thanks to the incredible hospitality of the staff, that feeling quickly disappeared, and we were able to spend a truly wonderful birthday. Some notes: - The Onsen water is quite strong and very hot, but in the in-room bath you can dilute it with cold water for a while and then soak slowly and comfortably. - The Room was spotless down to every detail, making our stay extremely comfortable. My husband especially loved the gently rocking chair and sat in it all day. - The staff were so professional that we could relax completely and enjoy ourselves. - Every dish was delicious. You could really tell how skilled the chef is—especially the dashi; I wanted to ask for the recipe. - Personally, I also really appreciated that children of elementary school age or younger are not allowed. It makes it much easier to relax. Overall: great views, an amazing Onsen, a Hotel that is clean and pleasant throughout, outstanding food, and warm, wonderful service from everyone—an Accommodation that was perfect in every way. We will definitely stay again!
