    Family Stay

    I rated it as average because there was no Onsen, but I was happy to be able to relax in the clean bath with a washing area and stretch out my legs. The Room was also clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, with hot meat and seafood dishes from the live kitchen, as well as delicious dishes made with local ingredients such as Hiroshima lemons. The Hotel is right near the station, which made getting around very convenient. Everyone at the Hotel was kind, and I would like to stay again.

    This was my first stay here. It had been a long time since I last visited Hiroshima, and considering my schedule and transportation plans, I made a Reservation at this Hotel directly connected to Hiroshima Station. As a result, I was able to spend my time in Hiroshima comfortably and efficiently. It’s close to the Shinkansen ticket gates, so I could leave my luggage right after arrival and head out easily. I planned to use both JR trains and the streetcar, and both stations were just steps away, which was very convenient. Luggage storage as well as check-in and check-out were all available via self-service kiosks, so everything was smooth with no waiting. Staff were also present throughout the area, so even those who aren’t comfortable with self-service should have no trouble. The Room had wood flooring, which felt cleaner and more comfortable than carpet. Everything was well cleaned. With a separate bath and toilet and a spacious bed, I could relax properly. The showerhead shape was slightly awkward to use, but aside from that I was very satisfied. I would like to stay here again when I visit Hiroshima next time.

    A Hotel for guests arriving late at night and leaving early in the morning—ideal for sleeping only.

    (1) Only “cleaned” slippers are provided. They cannot be purchased as an additional item. While this may be eco-friendly, I would have liked the option to buy a new pair for those concerned about infections such as athlete’s foot. Above all, are these thick, stiff slippers really washed every time the guests change? It made me wonder whether they are simply thrown away after each guest while pretending it is “recycling.” (2) Also, this Hotel does not have a coin laundry. The air conditioner only has temperature control. It’s a small thing, but it was difficult for me when I stayed one night in midsummer with no extra clothes. I sweated a lot and wanted to wash my clothes, but since it was only one night I couldn’t use the laundry service → There is no coin laundry, so I had no choice but to wash them in the bath → It’s summer and very humid, so they wouldn’t dry → There is no dehumidifying/dry mode, so the only way to reduce humidity in the Room was to set an extremely low temperature and keep the AC running constantly → Too cold That’s how it went. (3) The drip coffee filter design was awkward and made it very hard to pour hot water; I burned myself with hot water from the kettle. (4) This is a good Hotel for people who just want something close to the station—a place to sleep—arriving late at night and leaving early in the morning. However, I do not recommend it for those who plan to stay and sightsee.

    It’s a wonderful Hot...

    It’s a wonderful Hotel. Although it’s only in its first year, it’s beautifully designed and very clean. The Room furnishings were also lovely—perhaps Maruni Wood Industry? The breakfast buffet was the best I’ve ever had! There was a great variety, a live kitchen, everything tasted delicious, and I even enjoyed some sake. Thank you for helping make this trip such a great memory.

    The breakfast buffet was delicious. In particular, the scallops—grilled on the spot using fresh seafood—were outstanding. Also, thank you for storing our luggage even after checkout, which allowed us to explore Hiroshima hands-free right up until we left.

    Very clean and comfortable.

    It was easy to access from any level of the station, making it very convenient for sightseeing in Hiroshima. The Room was comfortable, with the bath, sink, and toilet separated, and the bed was spacious. The staff were pleasant and attentive, understanding our needs without requiring much explanation—very senior-friendly. The front desk floor was filled with a soothing aroma that helped us relax. It’s a Hotel I’d love to stay at again and would happily recommend.

    A Convenient Hotel Directly Connected to the Station

    We stayed again this time so my elderly parents could attend their medical appointments. Even though it was during the summer vacation period and there were many families, they were able to spend their time comfortably without any inconvenience or discomfort. Thank you as always.

    It was a beautiful and wonderful Hotel.

    The Hotel’s Room was clean and well maintained, which I really appreciated. Above all, the transportation convenience and access were excellent. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, all delicious—especially the seafood teppanyaki and the bread. The staff were friendly and welcoming with warm smiles. If I visit Hiroshima again, I would stay here again.

    Highly satisfied

    We stayed for two nights in a triple Room on the 21st floor with two adults, one child, and one toddler. The spacious sofa area made our family time during the trip even better. Everyone on the Hotel staff—from younger team members to seasoned professionals and housekeeping—provided outstanding hospitality. Breakfast was excellent and we were very satisfied; if available, I especially recommend trying the conger eel rice, steak, and salmon roe. With direct access to the station, the convenience is unbeatable. It’s a wonderful Hotel that makes us want to visit Hiroshima again just to stay here next time.

    Both the Room and the service are high quality. A staff member who happened to pass by kindly provided a plate and fork for a cake we bought outside. I would definitely like to stay here again when visiting Hiroshima.

    The service, convenience, and quality of the Facility are excellent.

    We stayed here while traveling to Hiroshima with two families. Our itinerary included one night in Miyajima along the way. (1 night in Hiroshima + 1 night in Miyajima + 2 nights in Hiroshima) (Reservations on IKYU were made separately.) 1) At our first check-in, they noticed our next Reservation after a one-day gap and kindly assisted with parking and luggage arrangements. Check-in was handled by a senior staff member guiding a new employee, and the senior staff member’s service was spot-on and very pleasant. 2) Directly connected to JR Hiroshima Station, making it extremely convenient for the Shinkansen, streetcar, local trains, taxis, and more. 3) Even considering that it is newly opened, the Room size, bathroom size, and the depth and spaciousness of the bathtub are excellent. In particular, for a stay-focused trip in Hiroshima, being able to recover from fatigue in the bath is important—so we truly appreciated it.

    A clean Hotel with well-organized services at reasonable rates.

    Despite the intense heat, I was very satisfied with the location—directly connected to the station and with shopping, restaurants, and a convenience store all close by. The service was just right and efficient, with no unnecessary extras. Breakfast had everything I wanted to try in Hiroshima and was delicious. There was also a wide variety. However, perhaps because it was a busy time… refills took a while, and the wait for the next items felt long. The Room is a bit small, but it’s newly built, clean, and nice.

    The young staff were very helpful.

    The checkout service was excellent. When I was waiting in line, the staff noticed right away and assisted me without making me wait. Although the staff member was young, they worked efficiently and promptly, which made me feel great and set a positive tone for the rest of my day. It was especially pleasant to see a young person taking initiative and working quickly. Thank you very much.

    It’s conveniently located near the station ticket gates, making it very easy to get around. They also stored my luggage after check-out, which was a great help.

    Convenient!

    I stay here every time to visit my daughter’s family. This time, we used two Rooms. Each time, I feel the service varies depending on the staff member. At check-in, even though it wasn’t crowded, the check-in staff were working on the computer and both we and other guests had to wait quite a while. The staff at check-out and for luggage storage were quick-thinking and pleasant. Overall, the service feels inconsistent from person to person. The location is good, and the beds are very comfortable for sleeping. Although there can be hit-or-miss staff service, I think I will use this Accommodation again.

    The Room was very clean and comfortable. The bath and toilet are separate, and there is also a separate washing area, so I could relax and enjoy a long soak. The Room has chairs made in Hiroshima Prefecture, and they were very comfortable to sit on. The location is excellent—directly connected to Hiroshima Station, making it very convenient.

    Clean and comfortable!

    For my second trip to Hiroshima, I chose Granvia Hiroshima South Gate again. I love staying at new hotels, and I briefly considered a newly opened Hotel that launched this May, but South Gate was so great during my three-night stay 4–5 months ago that I stayed again for two nights. I was also curious about Granvia Hiroshima with its spacious lobby, but carpeted floors are simply more comfortable. Access from the airport is excellent, and it’s easy to use both the Hiroden streetcar and JR lines. With the Tourist Information Center right next door, buying a travel pass was very convenient. The area around Hiroshima Station where the Hotel is located has many new buildings and shops, full of energy—it was wonderful.

    Friendly and attentive service

    The front desk staff were very pleasant, which made for a comfortable stay. It seemed there were some new staff members as well, but they were courteous and attentive, so I felt the senior staff must provide careful guidance. Thanks to that, I was able to enjoy my stay throughout. Thank you very much.

    Excellent location and a luxurious breakfast!

    Even though it was raining, I could get from the station without getting wet at all, and there was everything I needed around the station, so it was extremely convenient. The breakfast was truly delicious across the board, and the fruit selection was luxurious with a great variety! The bath and toilet were separate, and the Room was clean. This is a Hotel I’d definitely like to stay at again when I visit Hiroshima.

    I used this place while attending a baseball game!

    I stayed here to watch a baseball game at Mazda Stadium. Even though it was a single Room, the bathroom and toilet were separate, and there was an independent sink. The Room felt very clean, and I had a very comfortable stay. It was also convenient that the station building is directly connected, and there are restaurants on the lower floors, so I could eat and return to the Hotel right away. The staff were very kind as well, and I would like to stay here again when I visit Hiroshima. Thank you very much.

    Conveniently connected directly to Hiroshima Station. Even on rainy days, the streetcar and JR lines are right there—no umbrella needed. The Room was also clean. The bathroom has a washing area, and the toilet is of course separate—spacious and comfortable. The breakfast buffet offers an excellent variety, with an incredible selection of breads! Freshly grilled seafood, freshly carved roast beef, and a Japanese sake tasting were available—very satisfying.

    It was my first time visiting Hiroshima. The front desk and restaurant staff were very courteous. Breakfast offered a great variety, and everything was delicious. My mother was also very pleased.     The breakfast was excellent! I’d love it if you could add a lounge.

    Overall, everything was wonderful. Especially the breakfast—it was so high quality that I’d say it was the best among all the city Hotels I’ve stayed at. What disappointed me was the free-flow service on the concept floor. First, it was located on the lobby level in a restaurant that switches over for lunch guests. While lunch guests were staring, staff were cleaning up—sweeping and mopping while preparing for evening service—so having champagne there didn’t feel relaxing. I kept telling myself it wasn’t a club lounge as I drank, but if possible, I would have preferred a free-flow option on a higher floor with a better view. Also, they only had standard beer. If things stay the same next time, I won’t choose the concept floor. The Club Lounge at Granvia on the north side was great, so I ended up feeling even more disappointed with this free-flow service. All of the staff were kind. The Room was also nice.

    Spacious and comfortable stay with direct access to the station

    I stayed for two nights in a Standard Twin. The luggage storage service before and after check-in was very helpful. There are two options: return-type coin lockers and racks where you secure your bags with a wire. I used the locker without hesitation. An early 2:00 PM check-in time was also convenient. The Room is spacious, and since the clothes rack is placed by the window, there is plenty of space in the walkway after you enter. Having the clothes rack at the very back may come down to personal preference. I only used breakfast on the first day, and because I had registered with the WESPO app, I received 10% off. Breakfast offers both Japanese and Western options, plus unlimited refills of three types of sake. For some reason there was no regular drinking water—only lemon water or sparkling water—which was disappointing. There are no workspaces outside your Room. Depending on your schedule and preferences, using the Starbucks connected directly to the station might be a good option. Each floor has a water dispenser and an ice machine, which were very useful. You can refill your Room pitcher and use it in your room. The bathtub is fairly large and comfortable, but there is no bath additive service. Overall, the Room was comfortable, access from the station was excellent, and it felt like an ideal base for sightseeing centered around Hiroshima Station.

    I’d like to stay here again when I visit Hiroshima.

    The breakfast here is incredibly delicious. The seasonal melon and watermelon are outstanding, and there is also a great selection of other fruits. Even though many guests are Western, there is plenty of Japanese cuisine as well. There are so many options that I couldn’t try everything. Mornings can feel a bit hectic, but the breakfast venue is spacious, and once seated at a table I was able to relax. It’s conveniently located near the station, and all the staff are kind and courteous. This is a Hotel I’d like to stay at again when I visit Hiroshima.
