    Thank you for your hospitality.

    We stayed for one night starting from January 2nd. Since cars were not allowed to enter the city, we are grateful for the kind explanation regarding access to the Hotel and nearby parking, despite our many requests. The Hotel and rooms, including amenities, were exceptionally clean and provided a very comfortable stay. Thank you once again!

    New Year's Eve

    I made my first Reservation to visit Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine for New Year's. Since it seemed difficult to secure a Reservation on New Year's Eve, I booked early. The New Year decorations from the entrance to the garden were beautiful, and I thought it was a very nice Hotel. The Room had separate bath and toilet areas, a well-arranged bed and sofa, making it very relaxing with a lovely Japanese ambiance. During the New Year's breakfast, there was a lion dance for warding off evil spirits, creating memorable experiences at this Hotel. At checkout, the front staff in traditional attire bid us farewell, showcasing their hospitality. The location is excellent—close to Kamakura Station and within walking distance of Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine—with a convenience store next door and a supermarket across the street.

    Excellent!

    I used this for my first trip to Kamakura at the end of the year. The male staff at the front desk was very kind, helping with luggage storage and asking about stored items during checkout, which made me very happy. Even with a mask on, he explained everything in a clear voice, tone, and speed that was easy to understand. The Room wasn’t large but had a perfect charm worth 100 points. I also loved that the delicious coffee at the front desk was available until nighttime!

    A comfortable yet affordable Hotel

    As a resident of the prefecture and a fan of Kamakura, I visit multiple times every year for accommodation. This hotel offers exceptionally well-equipped amenities compared to other accommodations, with a very user-friendly room layout. Whenever I visit, I use it as my regular accommodation. I look forward to staying here again next time.

    No public spaces available

    This accommodation does not have a lobby. There are a few sofas at the front desk, but if you need to use the restroom, there isn't one available at the front desk. Only guests with a key can pass through the dedicated gate to use the restroom in their own room. Therefore, once you leave your room and pass through the gate to the front desk, be aware that there are no restroom facilities available. Overall, this is an energy-efficient and space-saving accommodation, so it is not a hotel where you can spend time luxuriously outside of your room.

    A cozy Hotel

    I stopped by around noon to drop off my luggage. Typically, at a Hotel in this price range, registration is completed in advance, and during check-in, you simply receive the key. However, at this Hotel, the process had to be redone from scratch. While the trainee staff was polite and attentive, the explanations and procedures took too much time. Considering other waiting guests, faster service would have been appreciated.

    Every detail reflects exceptional attention to quality.

    This was my first time staying at the Metropolitan series, and it was excellent. The bedroom was great, and unlike some hotels where the brightness from the TV or electrical systems can make it hard to sleep even with the lights off, this Hotel had perfect measures in place, allowing me to sleep in complete darkness. The staff's service was also outstanding, and they even provided a thoughtful gift for my birthday. I highly recommend this Hotel.

    Stylish Rooms Near Kamakura Station

    The Room felt slightly smaller than the listed size, but the bathroom was separate from the toilet, providing a spacious and comfortable water area. If you have a lot of luggage, choosing a larger Room might be more suitable. The design was very stylish with well-coordinated interiors, making it a relaxing space. Breakfast was served at MUJI Café and featured menus with Kamakura vegetables and other MUJI-style dishes, which made it an enjoyable experience. Although parking spaces were limited, there seemed to be many unused dead spaces that could have been utilized better. While there were affiliated parking options available, having more efficient use of on-site parking would make it much more convenient for car users.

    The location of Hotel Metropolitan Kamakura was excellent! Right in front of Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine, with plenty of restaurants, shops, and entertainment facilities nearby!

    Bathroom with washing area, separate toilet, very clean Hotel

    Late November, 4th floor, facing the main street. Noise was a concern—considering the location, it might be unavoidable—but aside from traffic, a group of people lingered near the Hotel for about 30 minutes at night, and their voices were quite disturbing. Separately, my daughter fell ill during our stay, but I deeply appreciated the warm support provided. The smiles of the front desk staff made our Kamakura sightseeing even more enjoyable. The breakfast buffet by MUJI may have a compact space but offers sufficient variety and great taste.

    I stayed for the first time over the weekend. The room was quite compact. Having a supermarket right in front was convenient, and I bought some deli food when I got a bit hungry. Although there is no onsen, it would enhance satisfaction if bath salts were available to choose from or if free soft drinks were offered. The breakfast mostly consisted of pre-made items, which were quite rich and sweet in flavor. I ended up eating mostly tofu. It would be nice to replace the tortillas with warm noodles or cold noodles instead. I look forward to visiting again if I have another opportunity.

    I liked the amenities.

    Stayed with three women. We are particular about amenities, but everyone was very satisfied. I especially liked the MegRhythm. The pajamas were slightly thick and comfortable, allowing for a good night's sleep. We all agreed that we would like to use a Hotel in the Metropolitan group again next time. Thank you for taking care of us!

    It was my first visi...

    It was my first visit in about a year, and I was once again soothed by the fragrance at the entrance. The front desk staff provided courteous service and accommodated my room request—thank you. I had a comfortable stay. I chose a Moderate Twin Room this time, and since it did not face the main street, it was quiet and pleasant. I found this room to be quite nice as well. However, one downside was that there was noticeable mold on the lower side of the bathroom door frame. I decided to try breakfast on short notice, and it was well-stocked and delicious. The pork miso soup stood out as particularly tasty for me. It turned out to be a refreshing stay that made me want to visit again!

    A perfect Hotel you'd want to stay at again.

    Conveniently located near Kamakura Station, I decided to book after seeing its great atmosphere on Instagram without much hesitation. In conclusion, everything—convenience, cleanliness, ambiance, and service—was perfect and exceeded expectations. I enjoyed an early morning stroll to nearby Komachi Street for shopping and could rely on the MUJI Café when feeling a bit hungry. The courtyard and lobby are stylish, the Room is spacious, and the amenities are of high quality for a comfortable stay. I would definitely stay here again if I visit Kamakura in the future!

    Birthday cake

    We stayed at the accommodation during our trip to Kamakura to celebrate my partner's birthday. We ordered an anniversary cake as it was available, and the staff carefully confirmed all details. On the day, my partner was delighted with the unexpected cake. The message card from the staff also touched us deeply. The room was spacious and relaxing, making our trip to Kamakura truly memorable.     This is usually a day-trip destination, but when planning a visit to Kamakura with my mother, who has mobility concerns, I decided to book an accommodation for peace of mind. I chose the Metropolitan for its convenience and reasonable price. While I expected it to be a typical business hotel, I was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful and stylish interior. The attention to detail in the furnishings showed quality and care. The bathroom was not a standard unit bath with a shower curtain but had a separate washing area, adding a touch of luxury. However, it was disappointing that the smoking area was limited to one small space that could barely fit two people and had only one door. It would have been better if there were smaller smoking areas on each floor since wandering around in pajamas and slippers isn't ideal. In today's world, it's easy for accommodations to cater to non-smokers' preferences while also simplifying cleaning efforts—it feels like they are taking the easier route here.

    A clean and comfortable Hotel.

    Located just a few minutes' walk from Kamakura Station and Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine, the location is extremely convenient. From the window of the Room, you can enjoy a view of Dankazura and fully experience the atmosphere of Kamakura. The space is compact yet efficient, with a spacious bathtub that allows for a relaxing soak. The chair in the bathroom is at an ideal height, making it exceptionally comfortable. Shower time was enjoyable and refreshing, helping to relieve travel fatigue. At checkout, I requested assistance with arranging luggage delivery via courier service. The front desk staff were incredibly kind and attentive in handling my request. I truly appreciated their excellent hospitality. This is definitely a Hotel I would like to stay at again.     Stayed at the accommodation for a long-awaited family trip.

    I previously stayed in the Garden Twin Room with my sister and was looking forward to it again. Although I couldn't enjoy coffee in the garden due to the rain, the room was spacious, relaxing, and very comforting. I would love to make a reservation again when staying in Kamakura.     Located near Kamakur...

    Located near Kamakura Station, within walking distance to Hachimangu Shrine, right next to Komachi Street, and with a supermarket just in front, the location was excellent. The coffee provided in the lobby was delicious, and we were very satisfied with this service. We would love to stay at this Hotel again when we visit Kamakura next time. The only issue we noticed was the step in the Room, which we felt could be unsafe for elderly guests like us.

    It was a Hotel I would love to visit again.

    It was my first time in Kamakura. The location and hospitality were excellent, and I would love to visit again. The guest room was barrier-free, which makes me look forward to bringing my grandchild next time as it felt very safe. All the staff were polite yet approachable, making for a pleasant stay. The breakfast at the MUJI Cafe on the first floor was also very delicious.

    Thank you for your thoughtful arrangements regarding my wife's disability. The provision of a chair and footrest in the bathroom, as well as a rubber mat inside the bathtub, was greatly appreciated. My wife has a disability, so we always reserve rooms with washing areas; however, most bathtubs have slippery surfaces, making it difficult for her to stand up on her own. Thanks to your unexpected consideration, she was able to get out of the bath without my assistance and was very pleased. This was our first visit to Kamakura, and we look forward to staying with you again in the future. Thank you once again!

    Comfortable and conveniently located near the station.

    Stayed for 2 nights. Conveniently located near the station, which was great. The Room was clean and comfortable. Opted for dinner, which was served at a restaurant (Araju) in front of Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine and it was delicious and satisfying. Breakfast at the MUJI Café was also good. Conveniently close to a convenience store and MUJI shop. Will stay here again when visiting Kamakura.

    For our first trip to Kamakura with friends, we chose this accommodation due to its convenient location near the station!     It was my first stay, but it was a comfortable experience. The location was excellent, and the staff's hospitality was outstanding. I was impressed by the staff's prompt response during my early morning checkout. Unfortunately, I couldn't have breakfast at the MUJI Café due to time constraints, but I would love to try it next time. Definitely a go-to Hotel when visiting Kamakura.

    We chose a no-meal Plan as we arrived late at night and left early in the morning. The Room was not bad, but the view was of the parking lot.
