We recommend the Club Floor.
With access to the lounge and spa, it’s truly a great value. The Facility is a bit old, but the rooms have been renovated, so there’s no problem. During cocktail time, alcohol is also free in the lounge, so you may end up staying longer than planned.

As always, consistently reliable quality.
I’ve stayed here several times the night before taking an early morning flight from Haneda, and the quality is consistently reliable, so I can stay with peace of mind. It’s also interesting to watch the large-scale redevelopment in the Takanawa area around the Prince Hotel. I’d like to stay again. Thank you again for this stay.

Lounge Hopping
Going back and forth between the Takanawa and Shin-Takanawa lounges many times was wonderful. The view from the Room—especially Tokyo Tower—was spectacular, particularly at night. I used the spa several times as well and was very satisfied.

First Club Floor Experience
During my previous stay in June, I had dinner at my favorite lounge, Komyo. This time, since I stayed on the Club Floor, I had dinner at Lounge Hanamiyabi instead, and the breakfast was also very delicious. As a senior guest, I don’t need a large portion for dinner. On the way to Sakura Prince Spa on foot, I passed Teppanyaki Katsura and saw guests enjoying their meal—it looked wonderful—so next time I would like to try the teppanyaki.

Relax and unwind at a lush, green Hotel in Takanawa
Check-in was always handled pleasantly, no matter when I arrived. In the club lounge, I enjoyed tea and traditional Japanese sweets while looking out at the garden. The drinks and Japanese-style light bites during cocktail time were all delicious, and I was able to relax and enjoy them at a leisurely pace. Breakfast was also mainly Japanese cuisine and very tasty; the fruit—especially the melon and bananas—was particularly sweet and delicious. I also used the spa, which made for a truly relaxing Hotel stay. Above all, everyone’s service was first-class and impressive. I would like to stay again.

A Hotel that offers the charm of an urban oasis.
I stayed this time for a refreshing getaway to beat the summer heat. After visiting Naritasan Shinshoji Temple, I checked in, had a drink in the lounge, and then used the Sky Pool. After that, I used the sauna bath, had a light snack in the lounge, and then enjoyed the night pool again. The pool is 90 cm deep, so even children can use it safely and anyone can enjoy playing in the water. There are also many types of floats and balls available, and there are enough supervisors on duty, so families can relax and have fun. When the lounge at my Accommodation was crowded, I used the Hotel lounge in a separate building. The fruit and food temperature control was appropriate, and new dishes were replenished sufficiently as long as it wasn’t right before closing time. If there was light rain while moving between buildings, small vinyl umbrellas were provided—thoughtful service. This is the reliable Prince quality you can expect at any Prince Hotel. If I had minor complaints: some wear on the Room wallpaper; one black hairpin found on the carpet; and front desk staff did not fully understand or clearly explain the difference between the changing rooms for Diamond Pool and Sky Pool. Personally, I feel breakfast starting at 6:30 would make better use of its advantage near Shinagawa Station. Since I stay mainly to use the sauna bath, pools, and lounge access, sorry if this isn’t helpful for everyone. As a pool lover, next time I’m planning to refresh at Oiso’s infinity pool area (THERMAL SPA S.WAVE).

I knew it was an old...
I knew it was an older Hotel, so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but the interior had been beautifully renovated and I had a very comfortable stay. The staff were attentive and seemed to adjust their service to how we were feeling, which made me feel very at ease. Having a 7-Eleven on the lobby floor was very convenient, and the courtyard was well maintained; the illuminations were also beautiful and made for a relaxing time. I also used the shuttle bus around the Takanawa area, so getting from and back to the station was smooth. It’s within walking distance, but it was very helpful that the shuttle ran consistently on schedule. Breakfast was delicious, and I appreciated having a restaurant with long opening hours. If I have another chance to stay in Shinagawa, I would love to stay here again. Thank you very much.

It was the best stay!
Once again, we had a wonderful stay with exceptional hospitality. It’s always amazing whenever we visit, but this time the crape myrtle was in full bloom and strolling through the garden was truly soothing! We’ll be back again soon. Thank you very much.

Always comfortable
The staff are always courteous and attentive, making my stay very comfortable. The Room is thoroughly cleaned, the bed is very comfortable, and I can truly relax, so I keep coming back. The bamboo lanterns in the garden change little by little with each season, and I look forward to strolling around every time. At the club lounge, the beer server was available from tea time, which was just what I needed after being worn out by the heat. This time, I also enjoyed warm, freshly made pancakes from the pancake maker—it really lifted my spirits. It’s wonderful that there’s always something new to experience. I’m looking forward to visiting again next time.

Although it was my first stay, it was extremely comfortable.
Although I had visited the Hiten banquet hall a few times for reunions, this was my first time staying overnight. It was also my first time parking in the Hotel’s parking lot. I’m not sure whether the directions to the parking area were insufficient or whether construction made the signs hard to see. It might have been smoother with navigation guidance, but my car doesn’t have a navigation system… In any case, the parking lot was hard to find. That was the only inconvenience, and since I’m someone who thinks navigation isn’t necessary, I suppose some of it is on me as well. Whenever I asked, the staff provided clear and courteous explanations of everything needed during my stay—check-in and check-out, where the elevators are, how to use the lounge (including breakfast), and important notes when entering and exiting from the parking lot. It seemed a higher-grade Room happened to be available and they kindly offered an upgrade. However, I had made a Reservation for a Room with a view of Tokyo Tower, so when I mentioned that, they said, “Oh, excuse me,” and withdrew the upgrade offer. That was perfectly fine—I appreciated the thoughtfulness. The building and Facility felt somewhat dated, but everything was thoroughly cleaned within what’s possible; amenities were more than sufficient; breakfast in the lounge was delicious; and overall it was a comfortable stay. Thank you very much. I would like to stay again.

Thank you for taking care of us for three nights. During our stay, we moved the car in and out many times to provide Shuttle Service for a friend, but thanks to the parking coupons you issued, we were able to use the car without any stress—thank you very much. We were impressed by the tower view from our upgraded Room, and we enjoyed breakfasts with different styles each morning. Thank you for your kindness from check-in to check-out.

Prime location in Shinagawa

I revisited to relax nearby. At the club lounge, both tea time and cocktail time had time limits, but I was able to unwind with my adult daughter. The garden was beautiful, and the nighttime illumination was lovely. I also enjoyed access to the Shin-Takanawa night pool, then relaxed in the Sakura Tower spa bath afterward, and finished with a draft beer as a nightcap—very satisfying. I could see Tokyo Tower from my Room, and I opened the curtains and leisurely enjoyed the night view. We had breakfast at the club lounge, but it was disappointing that some children from families with small kids became noisy, so I couldn’t enjoy a quiet, relaxing breakfast. Overall, it was a satisfying stay even considering the price. Thank you very much.

For an anniversary stay
I had previously been invited by a friend to use the club lounge, and this time I used it during my own stay. I noted in my Reservation that we would be celebrating our wedding anniversary, and I was delighted to receive an unexpected celebratory service. Thank you very much for your thoughtful hospitality. I hadn’t even considered the view from the Room, so I was surprised to find we had a Room with a view of Tokyo Tower. It felt like experiencing Tokyo’s night scenery all over again, and it was wonderful. It was my husband’s first time using a club lounge, and he really enjoyed being able to eat and drink various items—he said it was more fulfilling than he expected. We were able to use both lounges. In the evening, we were informed of the exit time upon entry, but we still had plenty of time to enjoy ourselves within the allotted period. At night we took a leisurely stroll through the illuminated garden and also tried the spa at Sakura Tower. There was also a fitness area, so I felt that if we had prepared in advance, we could have enjoyed it even more. We were able to spend an elegant time close to home. This is a Hotel I would like to visit again in another season as well. Thank you very much.

I chose a Room with lounge access.
With access to the lounges at three Hotels—Takanawa, Shin-Takanawa, and Sakura Tower—we enjoyed visiting each one. The offerings from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM were so good that we didn’t need dinner. The courtyard became a very magical space at night, and international travelers were enjoying it as well. It’s also conveniently located with easy access from Shinagawa Station to anywhere you want to go. Highly recommended.

I stayed for both work and leisure, and the Room was comfortable with a large work desk. However, it was disappointing that the bathroom did not have a separate washing area. The lounge is still crowded, but I used it for a change of pace. It is a Hotel that feels reassuring.

The night view is beautiful.
This time, I stayed here with my husband. I love night views from the Room, so a tower-side view is a must for me. The food in the lounge was delicious, and it was calm with a great view. Since it was during summer vacation, I was also soothed by watching children playing in the garden.

Great location.
This was my first stay. Parking was free with the IKYU benefit. Our Room was on the 11th floor facing north, and there were hardly any tall buildings around, so it felt very open; the night view is among the best of any Hotel I’ve stayed at. The exterior does show its age, but the Room has been renovated in many areas and was cleaned to a more than adequate standard. The shower also had a mist function. Above all, there is a Japanese garden, and overall the property is quiet and clean with excellent value for money—one of Tokyo’s truly valuable Hotels. That said, the hospitality from the convenience store staff and at the front desk during checkout didn’t feel quite up to five-star standards.

The “Junior Suite” is in name only.
Still disappointing. I’ve made suggestions many times, but nothing has improved. The Room is only slightly larger, yet everything—from the layout onward—is inconvenient and outdated. The desk chair is uncomfortable, the sofa is unpleasant to sit on, and the worst part is the bathroom and toilet: the bathtub is an old, shallow type, and the toilet paper is extremely hard to use—honestly the worst I’ve ever encountered. The sink area is also old. The curtains don’t close properly and leave gaps, so it’s bright from early morning and you can’t sleep in. In short, this Room is terrible. On top of that, there was a Disney-level line at the club lounge, and I was told I couldn’t enter without a Reservation—what is that? There are better ways to say it. The only good point is that Rooms on the 15th floor are larger and there are fewer guests, so you don’t hear the typical door-slamming noise here in Takanawa, and there’s less hallway chatter—it’s completely different from floors 12 and 14.

We also received a lovely service for my birthday—thank you very much. It was an extremely hot day, but we still enjoyed lounge hopping while taking a walk through the courtyard. The Room bathroom being a unit bath was a bit disappointing... Even though it was the club floor, some of the amenities were also underwhelming, but thanks to the staff’s pleasant hospitality and thoughtful care, we had an enjoyable stay.

We had a great time!
On the first day of a three-day weekend, I stayed at a Prince Hotel in central Tokyo with club access. Maybe arriving at 3:00 p.m. was a bad idea, but I waited in line for over 10 minutes to check in. Is it normal in Tokyo these days to make guests line up even for a club Room? After check-in, everything was very comfortable. From my Room, Tokyo Tower stood right in front of me. That alone made the stay worth it—I was thrilled. I could use two club lounges, and the Japanese sweets were delicious. I was worried it might be crowded, but there were always empty tables and I could relax comfortably. Checkout was at 11:00 a.m., which is not very common, so I was able to take my time and lounge around. Also, as you’d expect from such a prestigious Hotel, newspapers are delivered in the morning—but I wish they had asked at check-in whether I wanted one so I could have declined. Overall, I had a great time. Thank you very much.

I stayed in a Junior...
I stayed in a Junior Suite Corner Twin with my elderly mother. We arrived around 2:30 p.m., and we were shown to our Room right away. I chose the Junior Suite thinking it might be my mother’s last trip to Tokyo, and it was absolutely the right choice. A full wall of windows with Tokyo Tower directly in front of us, a spacious bathroom with both a shower room and a bathtub, a separate wash area, and a generously sized Room. Even though it’s in the heart of the city, it was wonderfully quiet, with beautiful gardens that made you forget where you were. The nighttime illumination was also lovely. We could easily reach the lounge at Shin-Takanawa by wheelchair as well. My mother was moved the entire time. We were able to borrow comfortable pajamas and even a bath chair, and the whole Hotel was calm and comfortable throughout our stay. The beer from the lounge server was excellent—it truly helped soothe my mother after everything she has been through. Even after we returned home, she kept saying what a great Hotel it was. I’m truly glad we chose it for her final stay in Tokyo. All of the staff were kind and took great care of us—thank you very much.

The Room’s bathroom ...
The Room’s bathroom and toilet had older fixtures during my previous stay, but this time they had been renovated and were very comfortable. Thank you as well for accommodating my request for a Room near the elevator—it was a great help. On the other hand, I was disappointed to feel that the quality of the food served during cocktail time in the lounge had declined slightly. The lounge atmosphere was calm, and the fresh greenery in the garden was soothing, allowing me to spend a wonderful time.

The Club Floor is the best.
This is the Hotel I choose when I want to relax. It’s easy to access from Shinagawa Station, and once you’re inside, everything is complete within the Hotel. I enjoy it from afternoon tea time, go back and forth between Shin-Takanawa and Takanawa, take breaks to unwind in the Room or stroll around the garden, and even take a bath at Sakura Tower—honestly, it can feel busy (in a good way). That said, there may be more casual guests than before… or at least it sometimes feels that way.
