    This was my first stay since the full renovation, and I was surprised at how small the Room was. I may be at fault for not checking the size beforehand, but I felt that even a Business Hotel these days often has Rooms larger than the one I stayed in.

    Conveniently located near the station, with great views and excellent value for money.

    The hotel’s direct connection to JR Osaka Station is incredibly convenient, and the views from the upper floors are wonderful. At the club lounge, there was a wide variety of items such as sandwiches, and the sweets were delicious as well. Just before tea time ended, a staff member kindly came by to ask, “May I clear these away—have you left anything behind?” which I found truly impressive. Breakfast was also excellent across the board, and when I left my table, the manager in a black suit welcomed me with a big smile, helping me start the day in a great mood. I sincerely appreciate the outstanding service and warm hospitality from all the staff. If I have another opportunity, I would definitely stay again. Thank you very much for your care.

    The place was spotless and very comfortable!

    We always stay here as a couple when coming to Osaka by Shinkansen because it is very convenient. This time as well, we stayed in a Standard Comfort Twin (No Meals Included), and our Room on the 21st floor was very comfortable. The renovated bathroom area, metal fixtures, mirrors, TV remote control, rails and other details were all thoroughly cleaned down to every corner. The Facility and amenities were necessary and sufficient, and the Room layout was easy to use. We were able to receive women’s cleansing oil, face wash, toner, and emulsion at the front desk in the amount we needed. A shower cap, razor, cotton swabs, brush, toothbrush set, body towel, water, and tea and coffee packets are provided in the Room. The slippers also had closed toes and were roomy and easy to wear. The only things that concerned us were that the anti-slip surface inside the bathtub might feel a little unreliable for elderly guests, and that the shower curtain was somewhat narrow. The front desk staff were also polite and left a good impression. We will visit again. Thank you very much.

    Conveniently located inside the station.

    Conveniently located inside Osaka Station. The Room is compact but comfortable. If I had to mention one thing, the bathroom faucet was a bit difficult to use. Overall, it’s a very reasonably priced and easy-to-use Hotel.

    Direct access from the station is a great bonus.

    It was very comfortable! With direct access from the station, you won’t get lost in the complex Umeda area. I was a bit confused because the Room number didn’t correspond to the floor number.

    This was my first stay. It was great that smoking is allowed in the Room. The Room size was just right, and I had a comfortable stay. The location is excellent, and even without meals included, there are many restaurants nearby, so I had no trouble finding somewhere to eat. I would like to stay again.

    This is a very comfortable Hotel.

    It was my first stay in a while, and the floor had a calm atmosphere. The Room was spacious, thoroughly cleaned, and clearly well maintained with an excellent sense of cleanliness. Above all, every staff member was courteous and professional, which made my stay very comfortable. Choosing this property for my time in Osaka was absolutely the right decision. I would love to stay again when I have the opportunity, and I look forward to seeing you then.

    The location is unbeatable.

    Because it was hot, I chose this Accommodation mainly for its location so I wouldn’t have to walk far from the station. It was easy to get there from Osaka Station without getting lost, and it was very convenient to leave my luggage before and after my stay. I asked on the off chance, and since the Room was ready, they kindly let me check in early. The Standard Twin Room felt a bit spacious, which made it comfortable to relax. I also had a good impression because the staff proactively spoke to me. Three disappointing points: 1) The mirror placement at the built-in desk is awkward; when you place a chair in front of it, your legs hit something like a box under the desk, making it hard to sit comfortably. 2) The provided hair dryer didn’t allow airflow adjustment. It has a care mode, but it doesn’t get weaker and isn’t suitable for styling. 3) Adjusting the bath water temperature was difficult. You turn separate hot and cold taps, but they’re fairly stiff, so it took time to get the temperature just right. For reference: Since it’s above the station, you can hear train noise to some extent. I was on the 21st floor and noticed it slightly late at night; those sensitive to noise may not find it suitable. The in-room refrigerator also feels on the small side.

    Wonderful Hotel!

    I stayed for 3 nights and 4 days on my first solo trip to Osaka. Even though I extended my Multiple Night Stay at short notice, they accommodated me in the same Room. I stayed in a top-floor Room, and the view was wonderful. The lounge had a calm atmosphere, and I also enjoyed delicious light snacks. When I visit Osaka again, I definitely want to stay here!

    Hospitality in the Lounge

    I really enjoyed the salted pudding, fruit salad, and hors d’oeuvres served in the lounge—they were all delicious. I also liked the cheese selection, which suited my taste.

    They were very courteous and attentive.

    Direct access from the station makes getting here very convenient. The front desk and lobby are well staffed, so check-in and other procedures go smoothly. - When I got off the elevator, several staff members were there and escorted or assisted me according to my needs. - When I was holding the luggage claim slip, a staff member approached me before I even asked, confirmed what I needed, and helped right away. - They addressed me by name during service, and it was clear they treated each guest with great care. Breakfast was Western-style, with a choice of several set options. It would be appreciated if Japanese-style options were also available.

    Hotel Granvia is always a great choice.

    I booked again after enjoying the Granvia Floor on my previous stay. I arrived quite early after traveling since early morning and was exhausted from the heat. As expected, check-in wasn’t possible yet, so I took a short break in the lobby and was about to go somewhere to kill time while waiting for the elevator. Then a female staff member came running over and told me they would show me to my Room as soon as cleaning was finished. I was tired, so I truly appreciated it. Thanks to that, I could take a shower and feel refreshed, relax in the lounge, and then head out. The Room was thoroughly cleaned, quiet, and very comfortable. Thank you to the staff who hurried to prepare it for me. I was also happy when you greeted me with such a lovely smile as we passed each other. Perhaps because it’s on an upper floor, adjusting the shower temperature in the bathroom was difficult—it wouldn’t get warm for a while and then suddenly became very hot—so please be careful. There are more new Hotels in Umeda now, but Granvia is still reassuring because I’ve known it for years. I’d definitely like to stay again.

    This was my first time staying here. At first, it felt like there were a lot of staff, but after staying, I understood that the number is necessary to maintain and improve the service. Even when we caused some inconvenience, you responded kindly and made us feel comfortable—thank you. I won’t go into details, but there were a few disappointing points, so I’m giving one less star; however, I would like to stay again if I have the chance. Thank you very much.

    I stayed at Hotel Granvia Osaka this time. The location was excellent, and the view from the high floor was amazing. The staff service and Room cleanliness were also impeccable, making my stay very comfortable. My only concern was that the Room was a bit small, but otherwise I was satisfied. I would like to stay here again when I visit Osaka.

    There is a lot of dust.

    I recently stayed at Hotel Granvia Osaka. I rarely write a Review, but this time I was so shocked that I wanted to share my experience in the hope it will lead to improvements. I have stayed at many city hotels and Business Hotels, but this was the first Hotel where dust was noticeable in every corner of the Room. In addition, the Room had a distinctive odor, and because I have allergies, I couldn’t rest comfortably until morning. To be honest, it made me feel sick, and I found it very unpleasant in terms of cleanliness. It made me wonder whether the Room had been properly cleaned. For the future—not just changing linens and amenities—I strongly hope you will improve cleaning standards and guest room management.

    This was my second stay, and I had a comfortable time again, just like last time. I was assigned a higher floor than the one I had reserved, so the view was better, and I appreciated the updated bathroom features. The staff were quick to check in with me, so I never had any trouble. It’s also convenient that the airport bus stop is nearby.

    Everything was very clean, and the staff were helpful. Newspapers and amenities were delivered to the Room promptly. Having the front desk on the 19th floor was a bit inconvenient; it would be appreciated if luggage storage were also available on the first floor. It was nice that there were restrooms on each floor, and that the Room had a clock and a radio. Perhaps because it is in the city and it was hot seasonally, we could often hear ambulance sirens outside even at night. The cocktails at the bar we visited using a restaurant discount voucher were delicious.

    I stayed here for a relaxing hotel getaway. In Osaka, I usually use Hotels around Minami, so this was my first time staying in the Kita area, and the direct connection to Osaka Station was incredibly convenient. The view from the window was amazing, and both the Room and bathroom were spacious and comfortable. It was quiet with no noise from the hallway, so I could truly relax. Breakfast was also excellent, with a wide variety of delicious options. They even had sparkling wine at breakfast, so I enjoyed a luxurious morning with wine, cheese, and roast beef. I also loved being able to enjoy the outside view from the bathroom, but since the bathtub is shallow, I couldn’t soak up to my shoulders. That’s the only small drawback—everything else was perfect. I’d definitely like to stay again.

    We had a relaxing stay.

    I understood this to be the smallest Room on the Grandia Floor, but it still felt quite small. That said, the bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom facilities were excellent. Perhaps because it was a weekday, the lounge was very quiet and relaxing. I like Hotel bars, so I stopped by, and the bartender was extremely knowledgeable. I have a favorite cocktail, but since it’s not well-known, I sometimes get a puzzled look when I order it at other hotels. This time, they understood right away and even suggested some variations, so I had a wonderful time. Thank you very much.

    We had a great stay.

    We stayed in a Granvia Twin on the Granvia Floor. At 38 m², my honest first impression upon entering was, “Is it a bit small?” However, the wet area was spacious enough. The double-basin vanity had plenty of room, and both the toilet and bathroom were generously sized, with strong shower pressure. The living and bedroom areas were furnished in a way that made it easy to spread out our belongings, and it felt very comfortable. I had been looking forward to the club lounge, as I heard it was renovated last year. It wasn’t a lounge where you can enjoy alcohol all day, but the tea-time cakes, pudding, and fruit were all excellent. Since we come to enjoy an escape from everyday life, it would have been even better if there had been some savory items or at least beer at lunchtime. The cocktail-time sandwiches, quiche, and cold dishes were all delicious. Before returning to our Room, when my elderly mother said she wanted to drink the apple juice that had been available at tea time, I casually said, assuming they would have some ready for us to take back, “Shall we take one with us?” At that moment, a male staff member quietly approached and said, “We don’t have apple juice prepared at this time of day, but we can serve it—if you’d like me to bring some for you.” This hospitality truly moved me. This is exactly the added value of a Hotel. In the end, it’s all about people. Thank you very much for taking such good care of us.

    It was average.

    The location is excellent—no complaints, and everyone knows that—but the property does feel its age. You may want to consider more proactive renovations so you can keep up with newer Hotels. The front desk staff felt a bit businesslike, but overall it was average. Next time, I’ll try a different Hotel.

    What I Experienced on the Granvia Floor

    I’m writing about my experience using the Granvia Floor. I have stayed on the Granvia Floor in Kyoto several times, and the Granvia Lounge has always been excellent, so I made a Reservation for the Granvia Floor in Osaka as well. However, the Granvia Lounge in Osaka was very disappointing. It is small, and both the quality and quantity of food and drinks were far worse than in Kyoto. What felt especially unacceptable was breakfast time. There was little more than cold bread and a few drinks, and even though staff were present, they did not greet guests at all—they just looked down and worked on their computers. There were two staff members, but after other guests left, they did not clear any tables, so fewer and fewer seats were available. Guests who arrived later had nowhere to sit, and several couples eventually left. Is this really a lounge? I have used lounges at many hotels, but this was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had. I strongly believe this needs to be reconsidered.
