    Japanese breakfast is now available as an option.

    After two years, we returned to Yokohama Conti, and it was as excellent as ever. The service of greeting us by name the moment the car door opened was truly pleasant. There are now more Japanese options available for breakfast.

    It was a wonderful birthday.

    Arriving early at the Hotel, I decided to leave my luggage and explore the area until check-in. However, the front desk staff informed me that my Room was already prepared and allowed me to check in much earlier than expected. To my surprise, they also upgraded me to the top floor as a birthday treat and even gave me a financier as a gift. Since it was a cold day, I chose to relax in my Room instead of sightseeing. This also allowed me to enjoy the afternoon tea time starting at 2 PM earlier than planned, which made me very happy. Every sweet treat was delicious, especially the cocoa scones. The food during cocktail time was excellent as well. Having visited several club floors of Hotels in Yokohama before, I believe this one stands out as the best—particularly their freshly baked pizza! Additionally, using IKYU.com’s Diamond Member benefits for late check-out and Hotel credit added great value to my stay. I would love to visit again!

    We visited Yokohama ...

    We visited Yokohama for my wife's birthday event and chose the Continental Hotel as we had never stayed there before. The meals, both dinner and breakfast, were very satisfying, and the view from the Room was excellent. However, we noticed some aging in the Facility, such as a crack on the sink.

    The Lounge Access Plan is recommended.

    I had a comfortable stay. I used the lounge, and the quality of the afternoon tea was excellent and satisfying. The lounge was available until 12:00 noon at checkout, allowing me to relax and fully enjoy the Hotel.

    Stayed comfortably with all the cousins.

    For my daughter's wedding, all the children and grandchildren gathered! We reserved two rooms with the family package, and they kindly arranged for us to be next to each other. Additionally, they connected the adjacent rooms, which made the children very happy. Since this was a rare night for everyone to meet, we truly appreciated the hotel's thoughtful arrangements. The view and food were also excellent. Thank you very much!

    The room on the Club...

    The room on the Club Floor was very comfortable from check-in. The Hotel staff were pleasant and made my stay enjoyable. I forgot my glasses in the car, and while a staff member kindly brought them to my room, they mistakenly brought sunglasses instead. When I went back to the front desk to request my glasses again, the female staff at the front desk called another staff member right in front of me and spoke with harsh language, which made me feel very uncomfortable. As a Hotel front desk representative, such language and attitude in front of guests are unacceptable. It would have been better if she had handled it privately over the phone in a back office. Everything else was perfect, but because of this experience with the front desk staff, I may not return—what a shame. The Club Floor staff were otherwise very pleasant.

    Resort Stay in Minato Mirai

    I have stayed here multiple times, and it is a wonderful hotel. The harbor view is stunning all day long and never gets boring. Room service was satisfactory, and my requests were properly addressed. Thanks to the excellent service, I was able to enjoy a relaxing commemorative hotel stay. The staff were all very pleasant and accommodating. One concern was that the bathroom sink drained slowly. I would love to stay here again.

    A Yokohama-inspired atmosphere

    A Facility that brings the spacious atmosphere of the seaside to life, offering an exceptional ambiance. The view from the upper floors is stunning, and the service is excellent. We ordered room service, and everything, including the bread, was truly delicious.

    Wife's Birthday

    I used the accommodation for my wife's birthday. I was thrilled with the Financier and Moët gift. Thank you for accommodating all our requests. However, I found the bathroom toilet to be outdated without any washing functions, which made sitting on it feel chilly after a long time. Also, the phone's ringing sound was very loud and startled me. Although I was informed about changes to valet parking times via phone, I'm not used to receiving calls during hotel stays, so while I'm unsure about other hotels' practices, it would be nice if the volume could be adjustable. The hospitality, service, and in-room dining were impeccable. Thank you very much!

    I was surprised that there were no bath salts among the amenities, even though this is a top-class Hotel (they were sold in the Hotel shop, which may have made it feel even more noticeable). I used the pool, but the Facility felt very run-down: in the changing room, there was a hole in the ceiling with three hoses draining water into a bucket—it made me think, “Is this a Tokyo subway station?” The ocean-view scenery was great. For breakfast, the Japanese set is Nadaman, but compared with Nadaman at other hotels, the mentaiko used a red coloring agent that has been in the news lately. It also seemed like chemical seasonings were used in the miso soup.

    The lounge was disappointing.

    The lounge had a good reputation, so I had high expectations, but I was a bit disappointed. The fruits, in particular, were not very tasty. As for the bath, I wasn’t expecting much since it’s the type without a washing area. However, I thought the shower booth would suffice, but there was no chair and the floor was slippery, making it less comfortable. On minor notes, tissues were only available in the bathroom and there was an odor in the Room that required ventilation. Overall, there were several disappointing aspects which led to an average rating from me.

    It was excellent.

    I stayed at the accommodation on my birthday, and they upgraded my room. The night view was stunning, and I had a wonderful time. The receptionist greeted me with "Happy Birthday," which made me very happy. I always include breakfast because I know it's delicious. I look forward to staying here again.

    It was a more pleasant stay than last year.

    Following last year, I stayed at the property again this year for the end of the year. ① Since I had luggage, I asked if they could hold it for me. They kindly allowed me to go to my room much earlier than expected, saying "The room cleaning is finished, so please feel free to go ahead." Last year, there was a long line at check-in and I was tired from the long journey, so being able to rest early made me really happy. ② The room size was the same as last year's with a harbor view reservation. However, this time it was on a higher floor and had a larger bathroom. Last year’s room had a bathtub parallel to the toilet which meant bathing while looking at it; however, this time I could enjoy bathing leisurely. ③ The breakfast menu remained unchanged from last year and was also the same every day. Prices have increased due to inflation but all staff members were briskly working with pleasant attitudes. Although we knew that 8 AM would be crowded, we still ended up waiting. ④ The building is old so there are cracks and stains visible. Linen change during multiple night stays seemed not done even after 2 PM; when I approached a housekeeper on our floor who happened to be foreigner (gaikokujin), they responded very pleasantly despite being busy with many guests staying over New Year’s Eve period—they worked hard yet maintained smiles showing great hospitality. Thank you for taking care of us.

    We stayed at the property to celebrate my daughter's birthday. She was delighted with the congratulatory message and sweets, thank you very much. It was unfortunate that we couldn't choose a dessert in the morning and that there was only French toast at the buffet, but the pizza during cocktail time was delicious. The room with an ocean view allowed us to sit by the window and relax comfortably. The scenery is fantastic!

    The view of Yokohama Port was enjoyable at a leisurely pace.

    The seat by the window where you can stretch your legs and enjoy the view of the harbor was particularly excellent. I saw a replica of the statue that I always admired from afar for the first time up close. It was different from what I imagined, but it was more wonderful than I had imagined. It's a 3-star rating because I couldn't use the large public bath, but it was comfortable enough. As a Diamond benefit, I enjoyed herbal tea through room service, which I wouldn't normally order. The Ronnefeldt tea tasted very delicious while watching the cruise ship dock. Thank you very much. Needless to say, it's in an extremely convenient location for shopping, dining, and various other activities.

    New Year's Eve for two consecutive years

    We stayed here for two consecutive years over New Year's. Despite the busy schedule with countdowns, New Year fireworks, and the first sunrise of the year, we were able to enjoy a relaxed start to the new year with breakfast available until 10 AM and check-out at 1 PM.

    As expected of the Hotel

    The view from the Room and the environment around the Hotel are wonderful. Since I checked in at 4 PM on December 30th, the reception was crowded, with about three lines, and it took quite a bit of time. Other than that, it was a highly satisfying Hotel, and I will use it again.

    Year-end closing

    I used it as a year-end stay. The night view from the 23rd floor on the harbor side and the morning sun made for a very soothing year-end stay. There is nothing to complain about regarding the Facility and customer service. I was able to enjoy a relaxed time with a 12 o'clock checkout using D member benefits.

    During the busy Chri...

    During the busy Christmas season, I visited for the first time. The Room was clean despite having a unit bath, and the night view was wonderful. I used the club lounge, and both tea time and cocktail time had elaborate menus, with breakfast offering three choices including Japanese cuisine. I was satisfied with being able to enjoy fruits from the buffet table as well, but it would have been even better if there were drinks that matched Japanese food. Since this visit also coincided with an anniversary, I requested a quiet Room as much as possible and received various considerations; however, I was guided to a Room next to a late check-in guest. Perhaps due to thin walls, the sound of filling up the bathtub echoed throughout the Room past midnight making it hard to sleep, along with earthquake-like vibrations from upstairs several times. It's understandable that aging is inevitable in an established Hotel but it was an unlucky stay. Another concern was at checkout when there should have been parking tickets issued at the lounge; however here they did not arrange this so we had no choice but self-process which my companion also found cumbersome making future revisits uncertain.

    That's unfortunate.

    I used the lounge. The food was all very delicious. It was at an impressive level. The view was also very wonderful. The reception at the lounge on the day of departure was not great. When processing the card I handed over for payment, it was dropped without any apology or wiping it off, and although they seemed to have processed a discount for the parking ticket, when I inserted it into the payment machine at the parking gate, I couldn't exit because it said that the parking ticket could not be used. There wasn't even an intercom found at the gate, so I had to back up and park aside to call Hotel. When I gave my room number, they asked if I was Mr./Ms. [Name]? They mentioned a guest name with a different room number and laughed while apologizing after confirming my room number again; however, there was nothing funny about this situation from my side. Later on, someone from Hotel brought me a discount voucher for parking lot use but since we were nearby we wanted to go early according to store opening hours but due unexpected circumstances got delayed which made things worse than ever imagined possible! Also late into night loud music kept playing possibly due events happening upstairs making stay unbearable - never returning here again despite how good food tasted initially felt disappointed overall experience!

    The spaciousness of ...

    The spaciousness of the Room allowed us to enjoy views of landmarks such as the Red Brick Warehouse and Marine Tower, giving us a true sense of being in Yokohama.

    I think it is appropriate.

    I had work in Yokohama and used it prioritizing convenience. Although the Facility in the bathroom showed signs of aging such as peeling paint, I think it is reasonable for the price considering its convenience and service. I would like to use it again when I have work in Yokohama.

    This is a hotel with a very high level of satisfaction in every aspect.

    This time, I stayed on the club floor of a high-rise. The room was spacious enough, with a great view, well-equipped facilities and amenities, and was clean and very comfortable. The club lounge, compared to other hotels, had plenty of seating and was spacious, with a high-quality selection of drinks and excellent food quality. The staff's service was courteous and smart, leaving nothing to be desired, making it a hotel I would definitely want to stay at again. The only issue was that Yokohama on Sundays is crowded with tourists, and it took 50 minutes to get out of the car after the GPS indicated a 1-minute arrival, resulting in a rush to the restroom.
