We stayed for 2 nights. The villa was very comfortable, and everywhere you look is picture-perfect. I think many guests stay here aiming for a photogenic experience, and in that respect you’ll definitely be satisfied. It would be perfect if you could catch the sunset too. Also, the Accommodation is quite visible from the main island side, so it was exciting when we spotted it. On the downside, you can just barely see the pool from the neighboring villa, and it’s a bit of a walk from the pool area to the bathroom. However, there are thoughtful touches—like speakers installed both indoors and outdoors that play acoustic guitar tracks—and features like a large garden. There are many points that set it apart from the villas that have been popping up all over Okinawa lately. Some Reviews mentioned lots of insects, but we hardly had any bugs come inside. On the contrary, there was a stag beetle on our pool float and that really made my day. A cat also came by to visit at night. We arrived in an Alphard; while the road leading to the Accommodation was surprisingly wide and easy to drive, the road right in front of the villa was narrow, and we had to make several back-and-forth adjustments to park. For check-in, a QR code was sent to our designated email address, but separately (from a different sender) an email with our Room number arrived from a Gmail domain. It went to spam, so at first we didn’t realize which Room we were supposed to enter. I’d prefer if they unified the sending address. Still, being able to complete everything contactlessly is appreciated. Also, drinks in the fridge are free, but we were told there would be no replenishment during a Multiple Night Stay. There is a vending machine on-site as well, but it doesn’t have alcohol—so keep that in mind.

This was probably my third stay, and once again I was completely satisfied with my Hotel stay! It was my first time seeing the Halloween decorations, and I really enjoyed the different atmosphere. The front desk staff welcomed us with exceptional kindness. The Room was spacious and spotless, with a breathtaking panoramic view of Lake Toya. In the private open-air bath, we could soak in the Onsen while fully enjoying the spectacular scenery of Lake Toya. The open-air bath in the large public bath on the top floor was at the perfect temperature—never too hot—so we could relax without having to step out repeatedly. Looking down over Lake Toya from the infinity bath, we felt completely refreshed in both body and mind; it was truly outstanding. The dining was also excellent. The dinner buffet featured an abundant selection of fresh sashimi and nigiri sushi, including scallops, sea urchin, and shrimp. There were also hot dishes such as grilled crab legs and steak—all you can eat. Breakfast offered a wide variety of seafood as well, including raw surf clams and sweet shrimp, and our whole family was thoroughly satisfied with the meals at “Kohan no Sumika.” I have stayed at more than 70 Japanese Onsen Ryokan so far, but “Kohan no Sumika” is one of the few Hotels that I can say I absolutely want to return to. Thanks to the warm hospitality of all the staff, our family enjoyed an unforgettable and perfect stay. Thank you very much. 2. Business Courtesy Version (more formal and polite tone) This is a flawless Onsen Resort Hotel. I stayed at “Kohan no Sumika” on August 30. The front desk service was extremely courteous, and the Room was spacious, impeccably clean, and well maintained. From the guest Room we could enjoy sweeping views of Lake Toya, and in the private open-air bath we were able to savor both the Onsen experience and the beautiful scenery of Lake Toya to our heart’s content. The top-floor open-air bath had a wonderfully comfortable temperature that allowed for a long soak without overheating. Relaxing while looking down over Lake Toya from the infinity Onsen made for an exceptionally luxurious moment of calm. Dinner was highly satisfying: along with plentiful fresh sashimi and nigiri sushi—such as scallops, sea urchin, and shrimp—there were also all-you-can-eat options like grilled crab and steak. Breakfast likewise included seafood such as raw surf clams and sweet shrimp, leaving our entire family very pleased with its quality. Although I have stayed at more than 70 Japanese Onsen Hotels to date, “Kohan no Sumika” is one of those rare outstanding Accommodations that I would very much like to visit again. I would like to express my sincere gratitude for everyone’s warm hospitality; thanks to you all, our family enjoyed a truly perfect time together.

I booked this Hotel because I was looking for one close to Naha Airport, and it had a large pool. Since our flight arrived late, we got to the Hotel after 6:00 PM. The outdoor pool closed at 7:30 PM, so we went in right after check-in because my child was really looking forward to it. The pool was not crowded at all, so it felt like we had it to ourselves. When it was time, we moved to the indoor pool, and afterward the spa and sauna allowed us to enter in swimsuits, which was very convenient. I was also happy that both the shower head and hair dryer were ReFa. It was nice that there were drink options, not just water. Breakfast could also be reserved via smartphone. I did not expect much variety from the buffet, but there were quite a lot of choices, which was great. My child enjoyed the pool until checkout before we headed to our next destination. We stayed for one night, and our whole family was very satisfied. We used a barrier-free room, and both the caregiver and the person receiving care were able to spend time comfortably without stress, including in the toilet and bathroom. In the lounge, there were thoughtful touches such as a stroller, making it enjoyable for all generations—it truly felt like an Accommodation with exceptional attention to detail.

We stayed to celebrate our sons’ school entrance and to unwind after the hectic start of our new routine. The ocean was right in front of us, the property was spotless, and above all, the food was delicious—we were truly satisfied! I haven’t often found really good sashimi in Boso, but dinner here was excellent!! We were thrilled! From the large windows offering views of Kada Port to stylish chairs where you can relax while enjoying a big-screen TV—and most importantly—the private natural onsen bath spacious enough for two people made it an exceptional space promising ultimate relaxation.

This was our first time staying here, and we were very well taken care of. From the warm welcome upon arrival, we were served tea and delicious sweets before being shown to our Room. The guest Room had a clean, modern Japanese style, and we were truly impressed by the wonderful view of the sea from anywhere in the Room—even from the bath. In addition, the Onsen bath had silky, slightly thick water that felt great and left our skin smooth; we enjoyed it many times and were completely satisfied. Both dinner and breakfast were more than enough in quantity, and every dish was delicious. We initially thought the dining area seating might be close together, but it wasn’t at all; we enjoyed chatting while listening to explanations about the dishes from the proprietress and staff. We had been looking for an Accommodation where we could simply relax, enjoy great food, and soak in good hot water—and this was a wonderful Accommodation where we could truly take our time. We’re happy to have found an Accommodation that makes us think, “We definitely want to come again in a different season.”

This was our first trip to Miyakojima, and we stayed here as a couple. From check-in onward, the staff were kind and attentive, and we had a truly comfortable stay. We chose a Plan that included an electric vehicle, which made it easy to explore all around Miyakojima without worrying about fuel—such a huge help. The location is also perfect, with the beach only about 4 minutes away by car. The Room was thoughtfully designed with many practical touches in the Facility, and we were able to relax in complete comfort. At night, the starry sky was incredibly beautiful—we were genuinely moved. We are also very sorry for the trouble we caused on the morning of our last day. Even then, you came right away and treated us with such warmth and kindness when we were feeling anxious—it truly meant so much to us. We can’t thank you enough for your sincere support until the very end. On top of that, all of the staff came out to see us off at departure, and I couldn’t stop crying in the taxi. We stayed for one night on our way back from a trip to Kyushu, and it was our first visit. The front lobby was very spacious, and the design—almost like a surrounding corridor—felt truly luxurious. With its seaside location, we could see the ocean from our Room, and there were many children enjoying the on-site pool. As an IKYU Diamond member benefit, we received access cards to the club floor and ended up using it twice. The club floor was also an exceptionally refined space with outstanding views, offering both table seating and sofa areas. A wide selection of alcoholic beverages and soft drinks was generously provided, so you could easily spend the whole day there enjoying drinks. There were also many well-seasoned, elegant guests who seemed like regulars, and even as a couple who rarely visits club floors, we enjoyed it thoroughly. The large public bath had wonderfully soothing saline water that completely relieved our travel fatigue. Next time, we’d love to stay longer for a more relaxing getaway. I came for a one-night stay to visit the “Sky Shrine” in Kanonji City and enjoy the tenzaru set meal at Kawazoe Honten. The Room overlooked Takamatsu Port, and even the bathroom had a window—an amazing view. Everything was smooth, and it was a wonderful Hotel where I could relax at my own pace. Thank you very much. It was a hot stay in Nara, but the property is close to Nara Station, with convenience stores and shopping facilities nearby, so we didn’t have to walk around much in the heat. The Room was clean, and it was great that the toilet and bathroom were separate. It was also helpful that we could store our luggage after check-out. We would like to stay again.
