This is a Hotel I would definitely like to stay at again.

I was able to relax in a tatami Room on a futon. The Onsen temperature was just right for me. The Keroyon washbasin brought back memories of old-fashioned public baths. The Facility has a strong Showa-era feel, but it was well cleaned, and all the staff were courteous, so I had a very pleasant stay. The toilet and washroom are shared, so as long as that doesn’t bother you, I don’t think there will be any issues. Thank you very much for your kind assistance!

We stayed as a group of three: two adults and one elementary school boy. As many others have mentioned, the food was absolutely amazing. Even for us, a couple with big appetites, there was so much food that we couldn't finish it all. The fresh sea bream and spiny lobster sashimi were incredibly delicious. The fried shrimp was perfectly crispy with a light batter, served freshly fried. It was even better than the spiny lobster fry we had at a famous lunch spot earlier that day! For breakfast, they kindly made sunny-side-up eggs for me when I mentioned I don't like raw eggs, which was very thoughtful. The owner, hostess, and even their staff (perhaps their daughter?) were all so warm and welcoming. It felt like they truly valued "once-in-a-lifetime encounters." Although the building and facilities are old, everything was sparkling clean, making our stay very comfortable. We were told there wouldn't be a toilet in the room but were pleasantly surprised to find a clean toilet in our room after all. The futons were fluffy and comfortable—perfect for someone like me who has back pain. The bath uses Onsen water that left us feeling warm and relaxed; of course, it was also impeccably clean. If we visit the Ise area again in the future, we would definitely love to stay here again. Thank you for such an enjoyable time!

My sister and I planned a SUP trip at Lake Aoki, and this Hotel is where we ended up. It was absolutely the right choice! We’re already talking about coming back in ski season. The Room was spacious, with a view of Lake Aoki from the window. The bathroom and other water facilities were clean and pleasant, and we had a very comfortable stay. Both dinner and breakfast, carefully prepared with local ingredients, were high quality—wonderful in both taste and atmosphere. The staff were full of hospitality and kindly helped us with our questions. In addition to the Shuttle Service from the station, they also provided Shuttle Service to the SUP meeting point, which was incredibly helpful. Thank you very much for all your support during our stay.

This was my first stay! The biggest disappointment was the musty, moldy smell as soon as I entered the Room. There was also a dead cockroach in the indoor crate area, so I chose not to use it. Dinner was served as a course meal. It was very delicious! I felt sorry for the dog that joined us because it kept whining. With all those aromas, it must have wanted to eat too... Breakfast was also delicious! However, it was disappointing that coffee was served before the meal and didn’t seem to be offered afterward. I had been informed in advance about the scaffolding, so that couldn’t be helped. Having an Onsen in the Room is amazing! You can bathe whenever you like, and there was even a dedicated baby-bath-style “dog bath,” so our dog could try an Onsen for the first time! I just wish I had known about the scaffolding at the time of Reservation (tears).

It was our first time staying in a trailer house, so we were a little nervous. It exceeded our expectations, and we were able to relax. The staff were kind, and it seemed my elderly parents enjoyed it as well. If I had one request, the bed was a bit too high and getting in and out was inconvenient; ideally, it would be around adult waist height. Thank you for taking care of us.\nThe view overlooking Imari Bay was also wonderful.

I use this place often, and I love it—the amenities are great and the futon is very comfortable.

The owner was Chinese and very friendly. The main door had an auto-lock system, allowing free access at any time, which was very convenient. We stayed as a family of three and had a comfortable and relaxed stay. Towels were provided, but they were more like household towels, so if you're particular about that, it might be better to bring your own—I brought mine. During the cold winter season, the bedding felt thin and I initially had trouble sleeping, but raising the heating temperature made it much more comfortable. The accommodation is conveniently located near a station.

I chose to stay at Kongobu Sanmaiin because (1) it is temple lodging at the UNESCO World Heritage site Kongobu Sanmaiin, (2) it is conveniently located for visiting Danjo Garan, Kongobuji Temple, Reihokan Museum, Okunoin, and other sites, and (3) it offers a Japanese-style room with a private toilet. The shojin-ryori cuisine was more satisfying in both quality and quantity than I had expected. Being able to join the morning service made this trip especially meaningful.

Stayed for one night with family during Golden Week. Conveniently located near Beppu Interchange, about a 15-minute drive to the downtown area. The Room felt slightly cramped for three adults with two beds, but there was a tatami space in front of the TV, making it spacious and comfortable overall. The highlight was the rooftop open-air hot spring bath with natural flowing water, offering an amazing view of Beppu city and the sea. The space felt so open that it made us wonder if it might even be visible from nearby factories! We stayed for around 30,000 yen for three adults and would love to visit again someday. Also, it would be great if you could create Rooms where dogs are allowed to stay!

We stayed with our dog. It’s close to the station, the Room is spacious, and the amenities are plentiful—so comfortable it felt like a waste to stay only one night! I didn’t expect any pet amenities, but having pet pads and wet wipes provided was a big help. The drugstore in front of the station didn’t sell pet supplies, so guests traveling with dogs should be aware. As we knew in advance, there are stairs, so if you have a lot of luggage, staying on the second floor is better. We struggled at first because we couldn’t figure out how to unlock the door, but thank you for your kind support by phone and LINE. We will definitely stay again when we visit Hakata! Thank you!

Located right next to Yasaka Shrine with various shops nearby, not only is the Room clean, but the bath is great, and the floor heating is excellent! Everything is perfect! And yet, it's reasonably priced! If you're staying in Kyoto, this place is highly recommended!

Based on the information provided in advance, I honestly didn’t have high expectations for the Hotel itself or the Room. But once I stayed, I found that anyone who loves a Showa-era atmosphere will really appreciate it. The Room is spacious enough, and while you can’t expect the latest Facilities or modern comfort, it feels calm and relaxing. The bath and toilet are in the same space, but it’s very large and even has a separate washing area. If you run the hot water too forcefully it can splash toward the toilet, but as long as you’re careful there’s no problem. I was surprised to see exposed hot- and cold-water pipes for the first time; on the other hand, I felt they may be keeping prices reasonable by not spending too much on hardware upgrades. What truly stands out is breakfast. You enter the dining room from a typical narrow-front local Ryokan-style entrance near reception—and then you’re amazed: shelves along the walls are packed with what seems to be the owner’s collection. It felt like stepping into another world. The way everything is arranged shows real attention to detail, and somehow reflects their personality as well. Breakfast was served in 30-minute time slots, but it seemed freshly prepared after guests arrived, so warm dishes were brought out. The bread, omelet, bacon, and sausages were cooked perfectly. The ingredients aren’t luxurious by any means, but I was genuinely impressed by how heartfelt the cooking was. I also had a bit of friendly conversation with them and got to experience their warm and sincere character firsthand. To be honest, I can’t give high marks for hardware aspects—but for breakfast alone, along with their hospitality and this Showa-style space that you can actually experience here, this Hotel is absolutely worth staying at. If I have another chance, I’d love to return.

It was my first time, so it took me a little while to understand the system, but a regular guest kindly explained it when I asked. The sleeping area and luggage space are small (there are coin lockers with a ¥100 deposit that is returned), so it may be best suited for light travelers. The shower room and washbasins felt clean. Bring earplugs, an eye mask, and your own slippers if needed. There are restaurants and a supermarket within a short walk. Once you get used to it, it seems convenient for solo travel.

Everything was great in a word. The Room was thoroughly cleaned, and the owner was very kind and welcoming. This will be my go-to Accommodation in Ishigaki Island.

The shower room and toilet are impeccably clean and feel like new, with multiple units available for convenience. The Room's air conditioner is appropriately sized for the space, ensuring a cool stay even in the peak of summer. While there is no TV in the Room, it was actually pleasant as there was no noise from neighboring Rooms. In Nakashibetsu, where Hotel availability is limited, discovering this place provides peace of mind for future stays.

Above all, the dinner portions were incredible—and delicious! Crab, shabu-shabu, sashimi, and fried chicken; we were very satisfied. The bath was also comfortable to use (the bath and toilet are shared). The hostess was very kind, and we had a pleasant stay. Lastly, the meal was truly amazing... thank you very much!

There are some things that make you think "a bit off" as mentioned in the reviews, but considering the cost performance and being able to stay with my beloved dog, I personally think this is the best accommodation! It’s definitely one of the accommodations I’d love to visit again.

Nothing particularly outstanding or disappointing. The location is convenient, and you can start exploring Shirakawa Village from the morning. One of the service staff said they are from Yangon and send money back home to support their parents. I realized how tough that must be. When I went sightseeing, there were indeed many international visitors, but I didn’t feel that as much at this Accommodation. If I have the chance, I’d stay again—that’s about it.

We were able to relax in both the bath and the Room. The sound of the river was soothing, and it was an Accommodation we would definitely like to stay at again. By the time we left, our skin felt smooth. Thank you very much.
