With multiple events overlapping and Hotel rates for Saturday nights soaring across the board, I was able to stay at a very reasonable price. Also, although my Saturday and Sunday stays ended up as separate Reservations, thank you for treating them as a Multiple Night Stay. Since I used a double Room by myself, I was able to stay very comfortably. The amenities and in-room Facility were well equipped, and best of all, the station right in front is fantastic. If I have the chance to visit Hokkaido again, this is a Hotel I would like to use again.

I do worry that if I rate this place 5 stars, it’ll become even more popular and harder to get a Reservation—but I’ll be honest. Since my first stay, the great location and wonderful employees have made this my go-to Hotel whenever I’m in Tokyo. This time, did the staff get younger? Everyone’s greetings were excellent. I choose between Japanese or Western breakfast depending on my mood, so I usually eat nearby in the morning, and their cheerful “Have a great day” and “Welcome back” made me feel really good. For the first time, I stayed in a Room on the 2nd floor next to the neighboring building, and I noticed some noise—maybe trains? I’m not sure what it was… It bothered me a little. It’s not the Hotel’s fault, though, so my 5-star rating stays the same.

Thank you for your hospitality. The unmanned check-in system really feels like the times we live in. A few things I noticed: the conditioner was too thick to dispense even when pressed; it would be nice to have a trash bin in the bathroom and vanity area; I’d be happy if there were more amenities for women; and I’d like a towel rack in the toilet. If I start listing wishes, there’s no end, haha. I had a very comfortable stay. Thank you as well for your efforts to keep it affordable.

Back in Yamaguchi Prefecture for the first time in about six months. The scenery surrounded by nature helped me forget the hustle and bustle of the city. The Facility was as clean as ever—nothing to complain about. At night, a lot of insects gathered around the lights, and I felt sorry for the front desk staff who had to deal with it.

This large 11-story resort suddenly appeared as we drove along a rural mountain road. The building was clean and didn’t feel old at all. The Japanese-Western style Room was also very practical. The Onsen is a simple hot spring, but both the indoor and outdoor baths are spacious. At the back of the large open-air bath, there were various small tubs that looked like they had bath additives in them, which was fun in its own way. Meals were served buffet-style in a large restaurant. There was an incredible variety of dishes, and there was quite a long line in front of the Western food counter. It seems great for families with children to enjoy dining, but for older guests it’s hard to eat that much and tiring to walk around, so I wished there had been a set menu option. As a Diamond member benefit, we received a full-size bottle of sparkling wine and finished it, but it was too much for just the two of us as a couple. It would have been nice if we could choose something like two cans of beer instead.

There is no bathtub, but the massage chair and rain shower were very relaxing. The area is convenient, with many commercial facilities nearby and the station within easy reach.

Although it seemed nearly fully booked, we had a very comfortable stay! The indoor dog run was air-conditioned, so we didn’t need to take walks in the heat. The Onsen also featured an authentic open-air bath that warmed us through to the core. Above all, the staff’s hospitality was exceptional—they welcomed us on arrival and saw us off at departure, making it a truly wonderful memory.

It was great that the Hotel is close to the station, and I could get from the Hotel to the station without getting wet, making shopping and dining very convenient! There’s also a convenience store nearby, so it was nice to be able to come and go even when I got a little hungry at night. The Room faced south with a panoramic view of Suruga Bay, which I really enjoyed. I’d definitely like to stay here again when I visit Shizuoka. Check-out was smooth too—just put the card in the box and leave. The breakfast buffet was delicious as well! One thing I noticed is that it’s better to take a full look around first before choosing what to get. The freshly cooked fried eggs were especially tasty! I definitely recommend adding breakfast. We stayed here for our elementary school-aged daughter’s birthday trip. She requested a buffet, so we looked for a place with a menu that both kids and adults could enjoy, and this is where we ended up. The buffet offered a wide variety of dishes featuring local ingredients, and we were very satisfied with both dinner and breakfast. Not only that, but check-in and check-out were smooth, the welcome service was excellent, and the playroom—clean and well stocked with plenty of activities—was always lively with guests. The Onsen was slightly lukewarm, which was perfect for our family since we don’t like very hot baths. The staff kept a comfortable distance; there wasn’t much small talk, but whenever we asked something they responded very politely, which made our stay pleasant. The next day we took a walk through Sosenkyo Gorge right in front of the hotel. It was easy to access, and we were able to enjoy ourselves even after checking out. Thank you very much. If I had to mention one drawback, it would be that the parking lot felt small for how busy it gets; when larger cars line up, getting in and out can be difficult. It would be even more comfortable if it could be expanded or improved.

Spacious Rooms, a well-stocked breakfast buffet, and a ferry trip from the Chiba side. It met everyone’s needs in our family, so we stayed here again! The guest room had separate Rooms, making it feel like being at home. We were able to relax and stay right up until just before check-out. For dinner, we went to a nearby sushi restaurant. At Misaki Port, we bought fish and vegetables as souvenirs. It was a very satisfying one-night, two-day trip!

I made a Reservation about two weeks in advance for a university open campus event. I was looking for a twin-bed Room, so I was relieved to secure one. It’s a bit far from the station, but it’s located roughly halfway between the university and the station. I couldn’t find a convenience store nearby, so it’s best to buy what you need around the station before heading over. The Room had air conditioning and felt clean. Amenities are available on the first floor for guests to take freely. Meals were served on the 13th floor, with a wide variety of Japanese and Western options and a great view. The salmon and rolled omelet set was delicious, as were the apple pie and apple sorbet.

I’ve stayed at many Accommodations where I thought, “This looks different from the photos on the official website…,” so I tried not to expect too much, but I was completely satisfied with everything. The Room was spacious and clean, and the in-room toilet had been renovated—large and comfortable. The footbath was also very relaxing. Both breakfast and dinner were buffet-style and delicious. The staff were all very pleasant as well. By chance, there was a summer festival nearby on the day we stayed, so we enjoyed Bon dancing, food stalls, games, and even a small fireworks display. I would love to stay again. Thank you very much.

I stayed at this Accommodation as the destination for a long solo road trip. The exterior and interior have a nostalgic Showa-era atmosphere—there’s even a barbershop inside the Hotel—and it feels like a dignified, classic Hotel from a good old time. Even the low ceilings, typical of older Hotels, felt comforting and relaxing. As for the Room itself, some furnishings do show their age, but everything was well maintained and thoroughly cleaned, which gave me great peace of mind. I used the top-floor restaurant for breakfast; even the retro chairs were carefully cared for, and you can really tell they’re valued and kept in good condition. The bathroom facilities were well maintained and clean, and things like the air conditioner controller had been updated to be easy to use today. And the in-room TV was a 50-inch smart TV—perfectly comfortable for me since I travel with a Fire TV stick. I enjoyed streaming without any cut-off screens late into the night. Because of work I haven’t been able to travel as often lately, but when I finally managed to make time and plan this trip, choosing this Accommodation as my destination was absolutely ideal. Breakfast was as satisfying as others have written—I ate too much. Newly built Hotels are all modern and spotless and tend to grab your attention, but keeping an older Hotel’s furnishings clean, beautiful, safe, and in good condition takes steady behind-the-scenes effort from the staff every day—and that’s when you truly see what hospitality is all about. If I have another chance, I’d love to visit again with staying at this Accommodation as my main purpose. Thank you very much for such a comfortable stay.

This is my usual Accommodation, and it feels very comfortable. Both the bed and the Room are great. I even did some laundry. I’ll stay here again in the future.

When I lived in Asahikawa, I used to dine at this restaurant because the food was excellent. For this stay, I chose the Plan with breakfast. The asparagus dishes and the ramen made fresh on the spot—along with many other delicious options—were all outstanding, and I was very satisfied. The Room feels a bit dated, but the food more than makes up for it. I will stay here again.

My check-in time ended up being about four hours earlier than planned, so I called. The response was automated and said there was no need to contact them as long as it was before midnight. I was impressed that even such a detailed matter could be handled by an automated system. We stayed as a family of three. It was a twin room with an extra bed, but there was still plenty of space and it didn’t feel cramped. There were two sofa chairs and a vanity chair (also serving as an ottoman?), both stylishly upholstered with a nice, upscale feel. After reading Reviews, I was worried about the bathroom cleanliness, but although it shows its age, it was clean and I felt comfortable using it. Many Hotels these days provide bottled water in the room for each guest, but this one does not. There is a free paper-cup drink dispenser in the lobby for guests (coffee, green tea, and cold water), which is appreciated, but having water in the room would still be more convenient. (It did say the tap water in the washroom is drinkable, though...) Amenities are picked up in the lobby style, and they even had sunscreen, sheet masks, bath salts, and hair wax—by far the most well-stocked selection I’ve seen anywhere. Breakfast included local specialties like tare-katsu and Tochio fried tofu skin, and they were delicious. I tried tare-katsu for the first time at dinner the day before and loved it so much that I couldn’t believe I got to have it again right away at breakfast—such a pleasant surprise! The Vietnamese curry at the breakfast buffet was unusual and very tasty. I also really liked “roasted kale,” which I tried for the first time. I understand that staying on the last day of Golden Week may come with lower pricing settings, but with Hotel rates rising these days, this place felt almost too inexpensive—I honestly felt bad paying so little. Close to the station with an adjacent flat parking lot—nothing to complain about. I’d definitely like to stay here again when visiting Niigata.

A male front desk staff member recommended a great place for dinner. He was very courteous, and I truly appreciate his help. The Room and the entire property were clean, and I had a comfortable stay.

As a woman staying one night, I made a same-day Reservation for the Hotel’s last available Room—a smoking single. Because the price was low, I was worried it might not be great, but the Room was clean, didn’t smell, and the Facility were well equipped, which made me very happy. What pleased me most was breakfast the next morning. I overslept and arrived right before closing when no other guests were there, but the staff kindly asked if I wanted refills of rice or miso soup, which meant a lot to me. I ordered a Japanese set meal, and it was delicious—I was very satisfied. The value for money was excellent, and I’d like to stay again. When I visit Chitose again, I will definitely use this Hotel. I also had coffee at the front desk the next morning—it was tasty—and when I left, the receptionist told me to take care as well. Thank you very much.

This Accommodation offers heartfelt hospitality throughout—and you even get to stay in a rare, registered cultural property building. As you step through the entrance, you’re welcomed by a traditional architectural space with a high-ceilinged hall and the gentle smolder of firewood in the irori hearth. The cuisine is prepared with great care, with no shortcuts. There are three Onsen baths, with fresh spring water welling up directly into them, and separate time slots for men and women so you can relax at your own pace. We chose a Plan without an in-room toilet or bath, but it was a wonderful Room filled with the soothing sound of the river. Thank you very much.
