It was great that I was able to find an Accommodation in Yamanaka Onsen, considering the rental car parking, my husband’s Accommodation, and a place for me to take a nap while I was on the KAGASPA Trail with him. Check-in was from 15:00, but you kindly let me in early so I could rest—thank you. Since I didn’t have time to enjoy the Onsen or anything else, I’m sorry that I can’t really share much feedback.

The facilities felt a bit dated, as expected from a public accommodation. The room was a combination of Japanese and Western styles. While the Japanese-style side showed some signs of aging, the Western-style side seemed to have been renovated and was excellent. Although our room did not have a private bath, the large communal bath was conveniently close (it seems they accommodated our request for proximity due to my mother’s mobility issues). The room's location near both the dining area and the bath on the first floor was very convenient. The toilet and washroom were clean, making for a comfortable stay. The communal bath was also wonderful. The indoor bath had separate areas for washing and soaking, providing a peaceful experience when in the tub. The outdoor bath offered stunning views of autumn-colored mountains while listening to the gentle sound of a nearby stream—an exceptional experience available even late at night. Compared to the indoor baths, the outdoor baths were slightly cooler, perhaps designed for longer soaks. Above all else, however, it was the food that stood out as extraordinary! Despite jokingly mentioning that Gunma only has mushrooms, miso paste, and wild boar pork ("Inobuta"), these ingredients were crafted into delicious dishes with great care and creativity. The portions were generous; unfortunately, my elderly mother and wife couldn’t finish their meals entirely. The dishes made abundant use of fragrant mushrooms with mild yet flavorful seasoning—truly delightful! Miso paste seemed to be a local specialty here; its rich aroma enhanced various dishes beautifully. And then there’s sake! With around 40 varieties exclusively from Gunma breweries (if I recall correctly), choosing one can be overwhelming at first glance! We opted for their tasting set featuring five types (approximately 30ml each) priced at ¥1,500—and every single one tasted distinctively delicious! Individual glasses ranged between ¥600–¥800 per serving (about 180ml), making it hard not to deliberate over what next drink should follow! I particularly enjoyed "Hiraijo," while my wife preferred "Akagiyama," so we ordered another glass accordingly based on her choice afterward. A staff member who recommended these selections had extensive knowledge about sake which made conversations engaging throughout dinner service too! It’s no surprise this accommodation attracts many repeat visitors—it truly deserves such loyalty given how memorable our stay turned out overall. When I came back to my hometown, I wanted to enjoy an Onsen, so I stayed here after hearing from a local friend that it was their “top recommended Hotel right now.” The entire property is spotless—and stylish. The Room is a bit small, but the minimalist design (with no unnecessary extras) actually made it calming and easy to relax. The Onsen is 100% free-flowing from the source, and it warms you up incredibly well. I also heard it’s great for your skin, and seeing how fair-skinned the staff are made me believe it (lol). Yumoto Onsen is said to be effective for dark spots. I’d heard breakfast was a buffet and honestly didn’t expect much, but it exceeded my expectations in the best way. Everything was carefully prepared with a wide variety of options, and all of it was delicious. When I asked about the yogurt, a staff member explained everything kindly and thoroughly—great service really stood out. In this era of rising prices and inbound tourism, this is a rare Accommodation where both value for money and hospitality feel truly outstanding. Everyone on the staff was so kind—it’s an Accommodation with genuine warmth that makes you want to come back.

The tofu—something of a signature at this Accommodation—is delicious. We booked a Multiple Night Stay and chose the “Miyabi” dinner and the Joshu beef teppanyaki on a ceramic plate; tofu was included with both (the teppanyaki set was served at breakfast). This is a classic Japanese Ryokan. The building is old, but it’s well cleaned and we had a comfortable stay. It’s only up to the second floor, but there are stairs, so it may be a bit difficult if you have mobility issues. The staff are efficient and pleasant. This Accommodation lets you fully enjoy the charm of a small Ryokan.

As others have mentioned, the toothbrush was excellent, so I found it at a flea market app and bought one. The location was close to the station and easy to find. I’d love to stay again.

The Room and service were excellent, and I had a very comfortable stay. Thank you. However, since it was my first time staying here, the parking lot was a bit hard to find, so I rated the Facility 4 stars. I’d love to stay again!!

I’m a returning guest. The meals are delicious—this is an Accommodation that makes you want to come back to eat again and stay again.

We stayed with one adult and two preschool-aged children. There was also a dining hall right next door. They also had a washing machine and dryer, so we were able to do the kids’ laundry. We only brought a few changes of clothes, so it was a huge help.

The room was spacious enough for a family of four, and we were able to relax comfortably with the large bed. There was also a raised tatami area, and the round sofa in the living room was stylish. It felt different from a Business Hotel and had a unique sense of fun. We will stay again.

The cleanliness of the room, which was unexpected from the exterior, made it very comfortable. Except for the lack of an elevator and needing to drive to access the bath, the service was friendly, and I would like to use the No Meals Included Plan again.

Everyone at the Ryokan, especially the proprietress, welcomed us with such warmth and thoughtful attention that we felt truly happy throughout our stay. The Accommodation itself is old, rich with history and stories, and you can really feel how lovingly it has been cared for over the years. The Onsen water was soft and silky, gently enveloping you and soothing every ache and fatigue. The meals were exceptionally delicious—each dish carefully prepared—and nourishing for both body and soul. We were deeply impressed. Even the plain white rice had a mysterious charm that stayed delicious to the very last bite. We would love to visit again. Thank you very much.

I made a reservation for one night. As mentioned in the details, the bathroom was small, but the room was spacious and comfortable. Since it was a smoking-allowed room, I thought it would have been nice to have an air purifier. I would like to use this accommodation again.

I stayed in the capsule-style Facility area. It was a weekday so it wasn’t crowded, and the facilities were good. There is a kitchen where you can cook for yourself, and both the washing machine and dryer are free to use. Amenities are provided as well. There is no bath, only showers, but they are practical. It’s located along the Kanazawa Ring Road (mountain side), so access is convenient. I’d like to stay here again if I have the chance next time.

Stayed during a solo motorcycle touring trip and had the chance to use a cool garage. After watching the sunset in Omaezaki, I arrived just as a large group from a baseball team was checking in. Exhausted from riding all day, I headed to the Onsen before dinner but found it too crowded and decided to skip it. Dinner was enjoyed at the dining hall with beer on the side. Later, when the group went for their meal, I visited the Onsen again and found it empty—though not very spacious, it was comfortable and helped relieve my fatigue. The breakfast served in the morning truly felt like an authentic inn-style meal and was delicious. The hospitality was excellent as well. I’d love to stay here again when touring nearby!

Branded shampoo and conditioner, body soap, plus facial toner and lotion are provided. The bathroom is a bit small, but men can use the large public bath, so it’s not an issue. A free breakfast buffet is included, and I even had curry in the morning. The amenities are very well stocked, and I’d like to stay here again.

The location is excellent for visiting Mikata Goko Terrace. The room faced the lake (or sea), offering a wonderful view. The open-air bath was particularly enjoyable. The quality of the onsen water was also very good. Although some reviews mentioned concerns about aging, the tatami mats were new, and the facility was well-maintained and clean, allowing for a very comfortable stay.

Walking distance to the Blue Cave and a quiet beach with a private feel made for an excellent experience. The Facility offers free rentals of masks and shoes, as well as paid rentals for life jackets, allowing you to enjoy snorkeling even without bringing your own gear. Although there are no convenience stores nearby, the Facility sells drinks such as juice, water, alcohol, cup noodles, and frozen foods. A simple complimentary breakfast of bread, salad, boiled eggs, and coffee was provided. The staff were very kind, and this Facility is perfect for enjoying Ishigaki's nature at a reasonable price.

This time, I am using the accommodation for business purposes. It includes two meals. Dinner consists of various ingredients served in small portions on individual plates, each with excellent seasoning that enhances the dining experience. Unlike typical buffets where you serve yourself and may end up taking too much and leaving leftovers, here each plate is perfectly portioned, allowing you to choose your favorites and enjoy them fully. If you visit Ehime, I highly recommend staying at Uwajima Park Hotel with breakfast and dinner included. The hotel also features a clean public bath where you can stretch out and relax comfortably. I often stay here when I’m out drinking in Oyama City. It’s very convenient, just a short walk from the station.
