The location was amazing, right in front of the ocean. The food was delicious and there was more than we could finish—we were very satisfied. We’d love to stay here again when we visit Himakajima.

Close to the airport, and we were able to relax in the Onsen. The women in our group really enjoyed the hot stone spa and were very satisfied.

There was a kickboxing match at Korakuen Hall, and since a family member competing was cutting weight, we stayed with No Meals Included. We were a family of four, and there were four beds, so we could relax comfortably with plenty of space. There are plenty of izakayas, supermarkets, and convenience stores around the Hotel, and the station is nearby as well, so it’s very convenient. We were also able to make a Reservation for the Hotel parking lot when booking, which was a big help! We’d love to stay again!

We stayed for one night to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday. All the staff were always smiling, and their service was polite and attentive, so we had a very comfortable and enjoyable time. Upon arrival, we were shown to a private room next to the lobby, where we enjoyed some tea and sweets while choosing yukata. The lobby also had books and a souvenir shop. On the rooftop terrace there was a footbath, and we could truly relax while looking out over Lake Ashi and the surrounding mountains. We didn’t use them this time, but there was also a table tennis room (paid) and a kids’ room. The view from the open-air bath in our Room was amazing—I ended up soaking three times: on the first evening, at night, and again after breakfast on day two (haha). It seems they can also adjust the set temperature of the open-air bath upon request. In addition to the shower next to the open-air bath, there was also an indoor bathroom in the Room. I was happy that the hair dryer in the Room was ReFa. We had both dinner and breakfast during our stay. Both meals were served in the same private room we were shown to upon arrival. Dinner started at 18:00, and breakfast could be chosen between 8:30 or 9:00—great for someone like me who isn’t good at waking up early. Dinner included dishes such as salt-crusted grilled spiny lobster as well as lava-stone grilling of Kanagawa beef and Ashigara beef, which made it really fun. Both dinner and breakfast were truly excellent, and my girlfriend was very satisfied. The large public bath wasn’t very big, but it wasn’t crowded at all—we were able to bathe almost privately most of the time. The water was milky/opaque (nigoriyu), and my skin felt pleasantly soft afterward. I’ve been to Hakone several times, but it’s rare to find an Accommodation this good. We would definitely love to stay again. Thank you very much!

The Room was clean, and we had a great time!

This was my first stay. It was very convenient, just a 1-minute walk from the station. The views were great, including the Shinkansen, the Bessho Line, and the mountains.

The Facility and amenities were better than those of similar hotels. The front desk staff, while working hard to assist many inbound guests, also provided me with excellent service, including luggage storage and courteous assistance. However, there was one disappointing point: when I called at night to ask about room cleaning and towel replacement during a Multiple Night Stay, there was no response at first when the phone was answered. When I spoke to ask my question, I received an unfriendly reply, which left me wondering what was going on.

A truly exceptional Hotel, offering simple elegance and abundant free-flowing Onsen water sourced from Gero’s natural spring. Attentive staff and housekeeping, along with a well-organized Room. A warm and welcoming second home you’ll want to return to again and again.

The welcome drink (berry tea) was delightful. The Room was clean and functional. I especially appreciated the feature on the in-room TV that showed the congestion status of the bath and restaurant. The bath was also clean, spacious, and had a variety of shampoos available. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with a wide selection of delicious bread. This was my first time staying at Route Inn, and it exceeded my expectations—I'll definitely consider using it for domestic travel in the future.

The Japanese-style Room on the 3rd floor where we stayed doesn’t have a private bath, but it feels more spacious since there are no beds. The bath on the 2nd floor was not crowded, and since it’s available from 6:00 a.m., it was great to rinse off after a morning run. Perhaps because it was during the Obon holiday period, there were families with small children. It’s fine for a father to take two children to the bath, but one child needed to urinate and ended up doing so in the bathing area. Even though he rinsed it away thoroughly with the shower, it didn’t make for a pleasant bathing experience. The father also looked embarrassed. Another family had small children enter first by themselves, and it also seemed like they may have urinated as well... How about placing a signboard in front of the bathing area (even if somewhat noticeable) asking guests with small children to use the restroom beforehand?

This is a newly built, spotless Hotel. After soaking in a warm bubble bath before bed, I slept soundly through the night without waking up at all. The Simmons mattress was also exceptionally comfortable.

Shampoo and body wash were available to borrow, and they were all high-quality. It was convenient to simply return them at check-out. The air conditioning worked very well—almost too cold—so I slept comfortably. The bathtub also felt spacious; at about 150 cm tall, I could stretch my legs out straight. There were bars nearby, as well as McDonald’s and FamilyMart, which was great. Even though it was a holiday, the station was right in front of the hotel, and our family of four (including a preschool child) stayed for just over 10,000 yen—a great deal! We’ll definitely stay again.

We stayed in a Room with an open-air bath. Overall, we were satisfied with everything—the bath, the meals, and the service. We had a wonderful time. The in-room open-air bath while looking out at the sea was very comfortable. The large public bath was also very spacious and not crowded, so we could relax and enjoy it. Both dinner and breakfast were beautifully presented, and we enjoyed them very much—especially the grilled abalone and shabu-shabu. We deducted a few points because the parking lot is far away (which could be difficult in rainy weather), there are limited choices for meal times, the Room does not have an automatic lock, and noise from the hallway carries easily, but overall we think it is a great Accommodation that we can recommend to friends.

I’ve stayed at many hotels, and this one had the best service. The large public bath and breakfast were excellent, but above all, I was truly impressed by the warm hospitality of the staff.

I stayed here for a live show in Hachioji. The venue was about a 5-minute walk away, which was very convenient. The room and Facility were average, but they were cleaned very well and felt very clean. Given the current situation, I was very satisfied with this price for a weekend stay. If there is another live show in Hachioji, I would like to stay here again. Thank you.

I stayed here the night before because I had errands for my child. Next door there’s Bamiyan and Gusto, and nearby there are a 7-Eleven, Yoshinoya, Sukiya, Cocochi, MOS Burger, and a ramen shop. For one night with two guests, you receive two frozen-meal vouchers at check-in. You can choose from mapo eggplant bento, meatball bento, curry, meat sauce pasta, or yaki udon. The free drink corner offers coffee only, but the machine brews each cup by drip and felt quite authentic. Amenities are next to the front desk; you take what you need yourself. The sleepwear was a gown type. Earplugs were also available. I don’t smoke, but the smoking area is outdoors. If it rains, you’ll likely need an umbrella to smoke. Parking right in front of the Room is very convenient. Check-out was easy too—just drop the card-style room key into the post box outside the front desk and leave. Once inside the Room it’s so comfortable you forget you’re in a container unit; however, because the window is small and doesn’t open much, there was a slight lack-of-ventilation smell in the Room. Since there’s an air purifier provided, it may be best to run it on full power. In the bathroom there were shampoo, conditioner, body soap, foaming face & hand wash (foam), bath towels, and face towels. Inside the Room there were about five hangers; TV channels were terrestrial digital only. Wi‑Fi is also available. I avoided an “issue” Room type (“wake ari”), so there was no vibration or noise for me at all. At Bamiyan next door I sat at a seat closest to Route 1 (the main road), and it shook like an earthquake every time a truck passed—so I’m glad I chose a non-“wake ari” Room along the road side as well. It’s casual and inexpensive, so I’d like to use other Hotel R9 locations in other areas again if I have the chance."""

We traveled to Kagoshima to celebrate my mother’s 60th birthday and stayed here for one night during our three-night trip. This Accommodation’s meals were incredibly generous in portion size. Every dish let us fully enjoy the natural flavors of the ingredients, and everything was delicious—we were completely satisfied, to the point of feeling like we could barely eat another bite. Because it was a 60th birthday celebration, we requested a size 4 decorated cake in advance, and it was prepared for us at dinner. Afterward, we enjoyed it together as a family in our Room while celebrating at a relaxed pace, making it a truly memorable time. The view from the Room was wonderful as well. Just after 7:00 a.m., our whole family took a walk to the footbath in front of the Hotel. Soaking our feet there in the crisp morning air felt amazing and was deeply soothing. There were also several local community cats around, and their adorable presence brought smiles to everyone in our family. All of the staff were kind and welcoming throughout our stay, and we were able to spend a wonderful time that felt perfect for such a special trip. This is an Accommodation I would definitely like to stay at again when visiting Kagoshima. Thank you very much.

This was our first visit for a birthday anniversary trip. Everything was outstanding. There are only 13 Rooms, and each is a separate, unique detached villa. The interior is thoughtfully designed down to every detail, spacious and comfortable, and the garden is beautifully maintained, making it a very relaxing stay. As Onsen lovers, we barely had time to rest—we fully enjoyed all seven private baths as well as the bath in our Room. There is no large public bath, but there are six private Onsen baths that you can use freely at any time. The water is free-flowing and feels wonderful. The meals were also beautifully presented with great attention to appearance as well as ingredients—decorated with orchids, stunning to look at, and very generous in portion size. From wagyu beef to lobster and shark fin, it was an incredibly luxurious and delicious dining experience. I recommend arriving with a big appetite. The staff’s hospitality and service were excellent too. We were truly glad we chose this place for our anniversary trip—it’s an Accommodation worth visiting even if you have to fly there. I’d love to come back in another season, and I’m also curious about other Rooms, so I’m sure we’ll return. If you’re unsure where to stay, I highly recommend this place.

Rather than just being near Miho no Matsubara, it felt like there was a Ryokan right within it. You can easily take a walk to Miho no Matsubara and the beach. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, and we enjoyed the scent of hinoki in the in-room bath. If I have the chance, I would like to stay again.

Clean and spacious, with attentive staff. Surrounded by cozy izakayas and restaurants, making it convenient to return to your Room after a drink. This Hotel offers very reasonable pricing compared to the recent rise in Hotel rates. Highly recommended for business travelers heading to work from nearby Jimbocho Station or students taking entrance exams in the area. For two guests, the 20-square-meter Superior Twin Room is a great choice.
