Warm, attentive service, a calm and lovely atmosphere, and a breakfast that makes you happy from the morning. Everything was so comfortable that it truly felt like, “I’m glad I stayed here.” I’m happy to have found a place I want to stay at again. Thank you very much.

I truly enjoyed Kanazawa’s cuisine from the bottom of my heart. I learned so much—about Kanazawa’s culture and local ingredients. This is purely my personal impression, but I felt that the guest rooms, dining, and hospitality were on par with the luxury Hotels I have stayed at in Japan and abroad, such as Aman, Bulgari, Okura, and Palace.

The first thing you’ll remember after your stay is the exceptional cleanliness—truly the best I’ve experienced. The next is the quantity and quality of the meals: home-style cooking, yet incredibly delicious. I believe all of this comes from the warm, kind-hearted hospitality of the staff, led by the proprietress. She doesn’t speak much, but her words were wonderful. It became a truly memorable trip.

I was satisfied with everything. The dishes made with olive oil were delicious, and the room with a view of the calm sea was wonderful. Shodoshima is famous for its stone, and it is used generously throughout the island. It doesn’t feel cold; instead, it feels warm and comforting. The staff greeted us with smiles, and it was an inn that made us think, even before checkout, “We want to come back.”

Thank you very much for your hospitality the other day! There were signs guiding us to the villa along the way, so we arrived without getting lost. The moment we entered the gate, we got excited—it was the most wonderful villa we have ever stayed in. Being able to check in face-to-face gave us peace of mind, and you assisted us very kindly and thoroughly. The living room was spacious, and since each bedroom has its own bathroom and toilet, everyone in our family was able to relax comfortably. The kitchen was also well equipped—even with a scale, measuring spoons, and baking paper—so we were able to bake scones and bread for breakfast. Everything was neatly organized and easy to find. The washing machine, coffee maker, and other appliances were easy to use as well, so we had no trouble figuring anything out. It was a truly lovely villa where we could feel the owner’s thoughtful attention everywhere. We only stayed one night this time, so next time we would love to stay longer.

It was an absolutely wonderful villa. When I come to Miyakojima again, I definitely want to stay here! The service was consistently thoughtful—exactly the kind that anticipates every need. Everything you think “It would be nice if they had this” is already there. The staff were also very courteous. The amenities and hair dryer were high quality. The shampoo and hand soap were THANN. There was also baby body wash (a good additive-free one from Mama & Baby). They offer a surprisingly large selection of free rental items, including things you don’t usually find at a typical Hotel, such as a baby chair and baby playpen (some items are available for a fee). Everything inside the Room was clean with no issues. All drinks in the refrigerator are free-flow. They will restock endlessly until 7:00 PM. The sunset view from the rooftop was simply stunning. The quiet Sawada Beach stretching out in front of you, together with the sunset, left a strong impression. There isn’t an on-site restaurant, but you can arrange a private chef or have a BBQ on the terrace. We bought meat from “Sachiya Butcher Shop,” which was recommended by the villa staff, and had a BBQ. If you order in advance, ingredients can also be delivered to your Room (limited to certain shops). The only thing that scared me was seeing a thin long insect poking its head out from between the gaps of the mesh table on the terrace. Because it’s a hollow mesh-style table, I couldn’t tell whether it just happened to be there or if something had taken up residence, so we couldn’t use it afterward. Since lush nature is right in front of the villa—and that’s part of what makes it great—I understand it’s difficult to completely eliminate insects… Also, the walking path from in front of the villa to Sawada Beach is so overgrown that plants brush against your feet if you’re wearing sandals. I’d be happy if it could be trimmed and maintained a bit more. Overall, we were truly very satisfied!! It isn’t cheap, but it’s quiet and you can relax without worrying about others—perfect for enjoying a resort atmosphere at your own pace. It’s ideal for spending an important anniversary with someone special, and it’s a villa I’d gladly recommend to friends as well. Thank you very much.

The staff provided excellent service, and the amenities were well stocked. The bathroom also had a separate washing area, so we could relax and enjoy a comfortable soak. After watching Disney’s nighttime show, Maihama Station was extremely crowded, so staying at this Hotel near Maihama Station was very convenient.

I finally found an Accommodation that truly satisfied me after a long time. The pick-up at the station, the welcome at the entrance, and the greeting at the front desk all left a lasting impression. The hospitality from our attendant and everyone at the Ryokan was excellent. The food was delicious, and the Room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. If I had one request, since I tend to get hot easily, I would have appreciated one or two more fans in the changing room after bathing—but this is purely my personal preference. I would like to stay again.

We were very satisfied. The private hot spring bath in the room was spacious—almost too luxurious for one person. After dinner, we also used the large public bath and were able to relax and enjoy a comfortable time. Dinner was teppanyaki, and not only was the food delicious, but we also thoroughly enjoyed the chef’s conversation and performance. Breakfast was delicious as well. All of the staff were very kind, and we had a wonderful two-day stay. Thank you very much.

I stayed here once and loved it so much that I booked again right away. This was my second stay, and it was just as satisfying as I expected. The meals—both the inn’s signature dish (beef grilled on a hot stone) and seasonal items—were excellent in both quality and portion size. The hot spring has a faint sulfur scent that really highlights how good the water is. Our family’s favorite is the beer service time in the lobby. Having a refreshing drink before dinner after a bath is the best. It’s a much-appreciated service in these times of rising prices. I hope you’ll keep offering it for my next stay!

This was our first stay with my husband, a friend, and two dogs. The Room was spacious, and although it rained both nights, we were able to relax and take it easy. The dog run was covered with wood chips, so our dogs’ paws didn’t get muddy. Having a free-flowing hot spring bath in each villa was very appealing, and my Onsen-loving husband took many baths and was very satisfied. This time we chose the No Meals Included plan, but we bought cheese and bread from the shops introduced in the in-room guide for this Accommodation, and everything was delicious. We’ve been talking about staying for three nights next time. We’re looking forward to staying again. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

It was rare for our whole family to be together, so we decided to stay on short notice. After check-in, we headed to our Room with a complimentary drink from the lobby (non-alcoholic) in hand. The Room was more spacious than expected, well stocked with amenities, and the view was wonderful. The bedside light brightness can’t be adjusted, but it wasn’t an issue. Both dinner and breakfast were buffet-style with a wide variety of dishes. The freshly grilled Wagyu steak made to order was delicious, but the best was the made-to-order tempura where you can choose the ingredients to be fried. There were also many types of all-you-can-drink alcohol options, which we enjoyed. For breakfast, you can choose the fillings for your omelet, and there were plenty of both Japanese and Western options as well. Towels were provided at the large public bath, and the free ice cream after bathing was great too! All staff provided polite service—especially the restaurant staff, who spoke gently and kindly—and it felt like they paid close attention to guests. After checkout, my daughter was touched by a woman who greeted us cheerfully at the car drop-off area and waved both hands as she saw us off until we left; it made for a very pleasant departure from the Hotel and a wonderful stay overall.

We also used the lounge at the sister Hotel, and both lounges were great. At the station-front location, the salted squid and plum wine were delicious, and we went back for seconds several times. They also gave us a map showing where the nearest bus stop to the sister Hotel is and a bus timetable, which made it easy to use. There were many restaurants around the station-front location that all looked good, so it was hard to choose. The ramen shop next door always had a line as well, so I’d like to try it next time. The Room was spacious enough for three adults including my elderly mother to relax comfortably. We could only stay one night this time, but if we have another chance, we’d like to stay two nights. Since it was a hot season, it was also nice that there was Häagen-Dazs ice cream in the freezer. It was a bit disappointing that the washroom lighting felt slightly dim, but overall we were satisfied.

From the outside it is a simple Western-style building, but once you step inside, it feels grand and luxurious. The location is excellent: Lake Suwa spreads out right in front of you, and every room comes with its own open-air hot spring bath with free-flowing natural spring water. The water quality is wonderful, and every carefully selected furnishing is of exceptional quality. I also appreciated the in-room massage chair, and the coffee setup was great—you can grind the beans yourself and brew a delicious cup while enjoying the aroma. I worried that such a fluffy bed might hurt my back, but it was truly comfortable. The feather pillow was perfect as well; I slept soundly and woke up refreshed the next morning. With your stay, you also receive complimentary bathing tickets for Katakurakan. In addition, there are free-flow drinks available in the 3rd-floor lounge—soft drinks, rooibos tea, and even wine (just a tasting portion). Dinner can be enjoyed as a full course meal, and they selected local wines for pairing; it was an outstanding experience. I was also touched when the chef came to greet us personally. They were very flexible with the course menu as well—we were able to choose different courses for each of us, which really showed how accommodating this hotel is. Car-wash service—which has disappeared at many places—is still offered here, which impressed me again. Seeing my car polished to a shine the next morning genuinely made me happy. I have stayed at many renowned hotels and ryokan over the years, but receiving this level of service at this price point makes this an easy choice for my go-to hotel from now on. There are so many more memorable moments that I could not possibly write them all here—but I hope everyone experiences it for themselves and discovers what makes this hotel so special. It was our first time staying here!! Our dog was thrilled with the spacious yard. In the evening, we relaxed with a BBQ and a campfire—such a great time. There were also drinks and amenities provided, so it’s a perfect 100/100!! We went ahead and made another Reservation. We look forward to staying again next time!!

Iya Bijin is an Accommodation famous for soba. I had carelessly forgotten this, and since my son has a severe buckwheat allergy, we made a last-minute request to remove all foods related to soba. During our stay, they took great care with the meals, and both dinner and breakfast were wonderful—such as ayu sashimi and dekomawashi—and my son ate so much it surprised even us. Of course, he had no allergic symptoms at all. Thank you very much.

I traveled with my daughter, and we had a wonderfully relaxing time. The meals featured many local Nikko ingredients, were beautifully presented, and were delicious—we were very satisfied. Since we used a private dining room, we could enjoy ourselves without worrying about other guests. The baths also offered a variety of ReFa showerheads and hair dryers, so I ended up trying several. The staff’s smiles were wonderful, and their courteous service was truly soothing. Thoughtful touches—such as bottled water in the room, stickers for the slippers, and drinks after bathing—were attentive down to the smallest details. We will definitely visit again.

I had a very pleasant stay. All of the staff were extremely courteous, and the restaurant team in particular was attentive to each guest and kindly took care of us. Not only the room but also the hallways and other areas throughout the property were well maintained and spotlessly clean. Thanks to the warm hospitality and comfortable environment, I was able to relax and enjoy my time here. I would like to stay again if I have the opportunity.

The three of us—my spouse, my sister, and I—had a relaxing stay. The Room was clean, and the Onsen was at a comfortable temperature, so we enjoyed soaking many times while looking out at the sea. The meals were all delicious, and even the grilled fish at breakfast was prepared in an easy-to-eat way. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent, and all three of us finished everything. This was my first stay here. From the atmosphere throughout the Accommodation to the service, thoughtful hospitality, and meals—everything was flawless in sight, aroma, and taste. It was a truly delicious and enjoyable time. The Onsen is compact, but the water quality is excellent and left my skin silky smooth. I’m grateful to have found an Accommodation I’ll definitely return to. Thank you very much.
