  It was a comfortable night.

  When I arrived at the Hotel, I tried scanning the check-in QR code at the check-in machine, but it didn’t work. The front desk staff helped me right away, and I was able to check in without any issues. When I entered the Room, I was satisfied with the space and cleanliness. The bed was large, and for a business stay the bathroom was also very good—I had a comfortable night. I could see Kumamoto Castle from my Room, which made it even better. For this price, the level of satisfaction was more than enough. It’s located in the city center, so it was convenient to go out for meals. It’s a Hotel I’d like to stay at again when I visit Kumamoto.

  Cleaning is not thorough.

  As the property has only been open for about five years, the Facility is new, but I was concerned about the lack of thorough cleaning. It may be worth raising the price slightly and hiring a professional cleaning service.

  Roast beef!

  I’m not sure if it’s newly built, but everything is spotless and feels very clean. Check-in is fully automated using the QR code sent in advance by SMS. There’s no need to speak with the front desk at all, including at check-out. The breakfast buffet includes roast beef! You can also enjoy local dishes. It’s right by the Hanabatacho tram stop. Note that there is another Daiwa Roynet Hotel (Premier) nearby, so be careful not to go to the wrong one.
