    Club Lounge

    This was my first time staying at the Grand Nikko Tokyo Daiba. I chose a Plan with club access and was especially looking forward to cocktail time in the club lounge. However, during cocktail time, even when the food ran out, it was not replenished for about 20 minutes, and there was a long period when there was almost nothing available. Although I paid for a Plan with club access, I could not fully enjoy the food, which was very disappointing. The Hotel itself and the staff were excellent, but I feel there is room for improvement in how the club lounge is managed. If you are booking with club access in mind, you may want to make your Reservation with this in consideration.

    We had a very relaxing stay.

    A spacious Room with a very comfortable bed. Since it was on a high floor, the view from the Room was wonderful, but the night view of Rainbow Bridge from the top-floor bar was especially stunning. The pool I used as a guest benefit also felt like it was all to myself, so I could relax and enjoy it without worrying about others—very lucky. To celebrate my birthday four days ago, I stayed here after an opera and used the Executive Floor for the first time. The exclusive lounge was comfortable and relaxing, and the staff were kind—it felt like an even better reward than I expected. Thank you very much.

    It was the best stay!

    I booked because there was a great-value Plan available, and I was assigned a Room on the 28th floor. That alone made me happy, but everyone was truly kind both at the front desk and in the executive lounge. All of the food in the executive lounge was delicious, and even though I don’t drink alcohol, I still enjoyed a variety of soft drinks and options like decaf Nespresso Pro. In my Room, I enjoyed the welcome food included in the Plan, relaxed in the bath, and then opened the curtains to look at the night view before bed—only to find it was exactly a full moon. Feeling almost like it was too good to be true, I savored both the full moon and the city lights. At breakfast, there wasn’t any notice about Eggs Benedict that I had seen online. When I asked, I was told it was available, so I ordered it for an additional fee. I’ve had Eggs Benedict in many places before, but this was easily among my top three—both in flavor and how perfectly soft the yolk was. I’m really glad I didn’t forget to order it. I was also shown to a table with a wonderful view for breakfast, which made for a very relaxing meal. I was also happy to use the Hotel credit included in my Plan to get something I’d been curious about for a long time: “Original Decaf Earl Grey Konpeki.” Thank you very much for your hospitality. This is a Hotel I would love to stay at again!!

    A Relaxing, Blissful Staycation

    I stayed with a friend. The view from our Room was wonderful, and even though we were in central Tokyo, it felt like a resort getaway. The coffee in the lounge exclusive to the Kumaland Floor was delicious, and both the sweets and light meals were excellent—everything exceeded our expectations. We also enjoyed a little alcohol and spent a relaxing, special time together as two women. We were able to fully enjoy the fountain show from the 27th-floor Panorama Lounge, and the view from the 30th-floor restaurant the next morning was refreshing; breakfast was also very good. We left the Hotel promising each other that we would come back again.

    This is my favorite ...

    This is my favorite Hotel, and I’ve stayed here many times. However, this time there were several disappointing points. (I still love it, though.) The offerings in the Executive Lounge seem to be reduced each time I visit. With prices rising everywhere, I understand it can’t be helped. Also, I checked the website many times in advance, but I didn’t know the Bread Café was under renovation until I arrived. On top of that, I wanted to buy the burger listed under takeout and the raisin sandwich cookie from the patisserie, but I was told they are not available right now. Because I had researched beforehand and was looking forward to them, it was a shock and it disrupted my plans. Updating the website is easy. Items that are not being sold are still listed under takeout. The gym machines are quite old. I visit many places, but they’re rare to see at this level. That said, all of the staff’s hospitality is truly wonderful. This remains my favorite Hotel without a doubt. I look forward to staying again.

    A wonderful one-night stay, relaxing in the lounge and pool.

    We stayed to celebrate my daughter’s new job and my career change. My daughter is usually very busy and rarely gets a chance to truly rest, but on her day off she checked in at 3:00 PM, enjoyed breakfast the next morning, and then went straight to work. Odaiba is close to her workplace, so the location was extremely convenient. This time we stayed on the Executive Floor and chose a Plan with lounge access. We enjoyed sweets and light snacks in the lounge, and the next morning we had a relaxed breakfast from 7:00 AM. In the calm atmosphere, we were able to spend a truly luxurious time. Also, guests could use the gym and pool free of charge, so I enjoyed moving my body in the pool for the first time in a while. Since it was at night there were few people, which made it especially nice to unwind. Rather than swimming seriously, it became a luxurious moment of refreshment while simply soaking in the water. The jacuzzi was comfortable as well, and it was appealing that there were also Japanese-style large public baths and a sauna on site. It felt like uniquely Japanese hospitality that you don’t find at overseas hotels. Although it was only one night, we were able to refresh both mind and body, making it a very memorable stay. We would love to stay again. Thank you very much.

    A classic, spacious setting... it was a wonderful stay.

    We stayed as a family of three on a Plan with lounge access. Our Room on the 25th floor was clean, comfortable, and relaxing. We used the lounge four times: tea time, cocktail time, nightcap, and before checkout. The lounge had high ceilings and plenty of space between seats, with lovely interiors that made it easy to unwind. Cocktail time was very popular and nearly full. The snacks provided ran out quickly, and it seemed they couldn’t be replenished in time. If sweets like those offered at tea time were available, they would have been great to enjoy with drinks. There was also a wide selection of alcoholic beverages, which we were very satisfied with. The restaurant on the 30th floor where we had breakfast offered wonderful views, and the buffet selection was excellent—making for a truly enjoyable breakfast experience. All Hotel staff were courteous and attentive, providing top-class service throughout our stay. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

    Hotel with Lounge Access

    We stayed with our daughter and son-in-law and booked two Rooms. The lounge was wonderful when we stayed previously, so I made a Reservation so my husband could enjoy the same great experience. All the Hotel staff were kind, welcoming, and truly wonderful. The evening lounge was great, and especially the breakfast in the morning—delicious food with a beautiful view. We have stayed at various Hotels with lounge access, but Hotel Nikko is the best. We would love to stay again if we have the opportunity. Thank you very much.

    The lounge service was disappointing, so I probably won’t return.

    The Room felt a bit dated, but we were able to enjoy the view of the Odaiba area. Also, at breakfast it was unusual to be able to choose sushi, and it was delicious. This time we stayed on the executive floor, so we used the lounge. Perhaps because it was Sunday, there were many lounge guests and there was a wait. During cocktail time we waited about 40 minutes to get in. When we entered the lounge, some dishes were already gone and they were not replenished. Light snacks were served in the lounge, but the only cutlery provided was small forks. Since other guests around us were using chopsticks, I asked a staff member if chopsticks were available. I was told there were no chopsticks provided and that other guests brought their own personal chopsticks. However, afterward I saw multiple guests receiving chopsticks from another staff member, so it became clear that the explanation—“there are no chopsticks; people use their own”—was completely false. I cannot understand why they would tell such an easily disproven lie over something as trivial as chopsticks. I understand that crowding can happen, but is this a Hotel where staff casually give false information to guests and where services differ depending on the guest? Overall it was a very unpleasant stay. I do not plan to use it again in the future.

    I wouldn’t choose it at the regular rate.

    Welcomed by the doorman’s smile, and the staff member who handled check-in was very pleasant, making friendly small talk as well. The Room amenities felt minimal, which was a bit disappointing from a woman’s perspective. There were far too few power outlets around the sink area. When I asked housekeeping for more face towels because there weren’t enough, I had to wait quite a while, and then they brought bath towels instead. When I said, “I asked for face towels, not bath towels,” the staff member replied, “Oh, then I’ll bring face towels,” but without a smile or any sense of apology—if anything, it came across as “What a hassle,” which was one reason for my harsh rating. Also, I chose a Plan with breakfast included, but at check-in I was told the wrong location; that was the biggest reason my rating dropped. I was told we could choose from three locations, but there were only two available, and by 8:30 there was already a very long line (I managed to get in after only a short wait before that—so I got lucky!). Unfortunately, there wasn’t much variety… The staff member making omelets on the spot had an unpleasant attitude and seemed like they were working reluctantly… Even when dishes ran out, refills didn’t keep up… The toaster didn’t toast at all… As a result, waiting took time and I ended up eating cold, dry bread. I use many Hotels regularly so this may be a strict review, but it felt like this Hotel has far too big a gap between its good points and bad points.

    Enjoy a Hotel Stay for Three Seniors

    This year marked our third annual Executive Floor stay. Three women in our 70s enjoyed taking it easy and caring for ourselves at the pool we always look forward to. In the lounge, we enjoyed tea time as well as beer and wine, and in our Room we stayed up even later chatting while enjoying the complimentary items from the refrigerator. Thank you for the staff’s courteous and refined service. We plan to make this our regular Accommodation again next year, and we look forward to returning.

    Clean and excellent service

    We stayed for one night and two days on this trip. We took a taxi to the Hotel, and even before we got out, the staff noticed us and helped carry our luggage. Not only at the front desk, but other staff members were also present, and whenever we looked around as if unsure, they immediately came over and asked, “Are you looking for something?” Their service was truly outstanding. Even when we passed staff in the hallway, they greeted us with a smile, which made our stay very pleasant. The Hotel was very clean throughout, and the Room was spacious—everything was excellent. If there is a Grand Nikko Hotel at our future travel destinations, we would definitely like to stay again. If 100 points is perfect, I would give it 200—it was truly wonderful in every way. Thank you very much for providing such great service. If we have a chance to visit again, we will absolutely stay here again.

    This Hotel is highly recommended and sure to satisfy you.

    I stay here for more than 10 nights every year. The Room and shared areas are kept clean and well maintained without showing their age, and I’m always grateful. I used to stay around Hibiya and Ginza, but I value comfort over access, and this Accommodation is my top choice. I look forward to staying with you again.

    It was comfortable.

    The location is convenient with easy access from the station, the Room design is lovely, and the bed was very comfortable. We also enjoyed lunch, the café, and the breakfast buffet—everything was delicious and made for a relaxing stay.

    A very lovely Hotel

    I stayed on a Plan that included lounge access. Although it was only for one night, the meals were delicious and all the staff were wonderful. I would love to stay again if I have the opportunity!

    It was comfortable.

    The Room with a great view also had a high-quality feel, and I was able to relax and take my time. I had breakfast at the restaurant on the 30th floor, which also had a calm atmosphere—I ended up staying longer than planned.

    This was my first time using a solo Plan. There were various services, and it felt like a great value. I made the Reservation to use it as an early celebration of my birthday, and I even received a sweets gift. Breakfast was on the 30th floor, where I could enjoy a Japanese set meal and a half buffet while taking in the view from above. One unexpected issue was that the bakery had closed for renovations. I had planned to buy bread with the Hotel credit, so I panicked for a moment, but there was a small sales counter near the front desk, which was helpful. I don’t think this information was on the website. Unfortunately, the Odaiba fountain was also closed on my stay date by chance, so I couldn’t see it. The club lounge staff were as kind as ever. If I have the opportunity, I would love to stay again.

    Stayed overnight for...

    Stayed overnight for work the next day. The Room was clean, as it has been renovated, and there were no issues with the amenities. However, the doors are quite heavy (especially the one leading into the bathroom), so elderly guests, women, or children may find them difficult to open and close. The door closer is even heavier, and because there is little clearance when it stops, it may come off easily. Other than that, there were no particular inconveniences, and access to Odaiba is excellent. Compared with another nearby Hotel where I have stayed several times before, the front desk service here was smoother, and even though it was my first stay, I was able to check in quickly. I also appreciated the thoughtful efforts to accommodate inbound international guests appropriately.

    We were very satisfied.

    At check-in, we were offered a Room upgrade at a relatively good price, and we were glad to upgrade to a more spacious Room. We were also encouraged to join the Hotel group membership, and by joining we received benefits such as free parking and restaurant discounts, which was a great value. Not only was it good value, but the service quality was excellent. We were very satisfied with the food and the attentive housekeeping, including bed-making. We would like to stay again.

    The staff are kind and helpful.

    I sometimes stay here for a relaxing break close to home. Everyone is kind, and I can truly unwind. If I may make a request, the bathroom is an older style with a shower curtain partition, which can be difficult for elderly guests to use. Also, the food in the club lounge is the same every day, so after two nights it starts to feel repetitive. I would consider staying three nights, but having the same items for three days is unfortunately too much. I hope there will be a bit more variety. The fireworks seen from the lounge were very beautiful. Thank you very much.

    This March, I stayed...

    This March, I stayed in an Executive Room (25th floor) with breakfast, where you can view the Aqua Symphony Show night scenery launched by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government from your Room. In conclusion, if you watch the show from the Room or from the bar lounge on the 30th floor, you cannot hear the music, so it lacks impact. For viewing the show, I do not think a Reservation for a Rainbow Bridge–side Room is essential. This is because I watched the 8:00 p.m. show from the 2nd-floor deck outside the Hotel—the closest spot to the show—and could hear the music; the multi-colored illuminated fountain display was impressive and very satisfying. I also did not know how to use the espresso coffee machine in my Room, so I called staff and asked them to come to explain it. The staff told me there is a QR code on top of the machine with operating instructions, but if that information were posted near the machine or in a more visible place, I would not have needed to call staff.

    I’m satisfied every time I stay here. My grandchild especially loves it. The view is great, and the Room is clean and spacious, so I’d definitely like to stay again next time.

    Stunning Views

    This was my first time staying at this Hotel in Odaiba, and both the surroundings and the Hotel’s convenience were flawless. The breakfast options included sushi at the sushi restaurant on the 30th floor and a “kamonabe” hot pot set, so I chose it out of curiosity. Not only could I enjoy nigiri sushi and hot pot in the morning, but the attentive service and the view on the side opposite Rainbow Bridge made it a truly satisfying experience. I learned just before checkout that a fountain show has been available since this spring, which was disappointing to miss—but it gave me another reason to stay again soon. It’s an Accommodation I’d love to return to next time with my children and grandchildren.

    We enjoyed our stay again.

    With the fresh greenery and the sea so close, a beer by the window was simply the best. In the lounge, we enjoyed tea time and cocktail time with the same consistently pleasant service. On the 27th floor, we also had coffee while looking out at Rainbow Bridge. It’s just incredibly comfortable. For breakfast, The Grill on 30th is our go-to. I always choose the Japanese set meal, but next time I’d like to try the Western breakfast as well. Grand Nikko Tokyo Daiba is a place you can truly enjoy in every space. Thank you very much to all of the staff.

    We stayed here for m...

    We stayed here for my husband’s birthday. Since it was a weekday, it was calm and relaxing, and even though we arrived early, they kindly handled our check-in right away. When I mentioned in advance that it was his birthday, we received a birthday plate and some small sweets. The view from the Room was beautiful, the lounge was well stocked, and the staff were very kind—it truly made for a wonderful stay.

    Once a year, for the past five years or so, I have stayed here with my daughter who lives in Tokyo. This time, I felt that the taste and quality of the breakfast had declined. I was looking forward to it, so it was disappointing.
