Kadomatsu Station × Highly rated for customer service and hospitality at Hotel·Ryokan

I had admired this Hotel for a long time, and this time I finally decided to stay. I was delighted by an unexpected Room upgrade, and soaking in the bathtub at a relaxed pace soothed my flight fatigue, leaving me feeling more energized each day (haha). While other Hotels are becoming more simplified, your wonderful hospitality reminded me, “Yes—this is what a Hotel should be like,” and I truly hope you will continue to carry it forward. Thanks to you, everything I needed to do went smoothly, and I’m grateful for the great environment you provided. It was truly a happy time! Thank you very much. I look forward to visiting again.

It’s a short walk from the station (bus stop), but I think it’s an easy distance to walk. The Room had everything we needed, and it was wonderful that drinks and light snacks were available until 10:00 pm. The snack cakes were delicious. All the staff were courteous and helpful, so we had a very pleasant stay. Thank you very much.

On my first trip to Fukuoka, I chose a Hotel near the airport because I had an early morning flight. There was an uphill road and it was a bit of a walk from the airport to the Hotel, but still within walking distance. There was also a large public bath, and it was clean and relaxing. The shampoo and other amenities were POLA, and the basic skincare products were Sekkisei, so I was glad I could use them even with sensitive skin. They kindly provided a free shuttle bus to the airport in time for my early morning flight, which was very helpful. It was a short stay, but I was satisfied.

It was very convenient for getting around, as it’s close to the station. Tenjin, the main downtown area, and the airport are also nearby. You can even walk to Canal City through the covered shopping arcade, so it was fine even in the rain or at night. The Hotel staff are always at the counter and greet you every time you pass by—they’re kind and helpful. I also asked them to arrange a taxi; there were a few minor Japanese mistakes (perhaps because the staff member on the internal line was a foreigner), but everything was understood without any issues and they handled it politely. Amenities are neatly arranged in front of the elevator for self-service. In the Room, there were cleansing oil, toner, emulsion (lotion), and hand & face soap—more than enough unless you’re particular about brands. During my Multiple Night Stay, when I put out the sign saying cleaning wasn’t needed, they left towels, nightwear, coffee, etc., outside my door. I really appreciated that. The Room was clean as well. Something I dropped rolled under the bed so I reached in to pick it up—there wasn’t even any dust on it, which honestly surprised me in a good way. Overall, I was very satisfied with this Hotel and would gladly stay again.

I had only known Hotel Okura Kobe, but since this was my first trip to Hakata, I chose Hotel Okura Fukuoka. The service and housekeeping were excellent, and access from the Shinkansen station was easy to understand and very convenient. As someone unfamiliar with the area, I truly appreciate the female staff member who kindly showed me on a map where to find delicious ramen and answered my questions with a smile. It immediately put me at ease, and I felt glad I made this Reservation. I couldn’t stop by the basement brewery due to time constraints, but a male staff member also kindly informed me that I could buy beer at the shop. Having stayed at inexpensive Business Hotels near stations before, I was reminded how valuable local tips and guidance gained through genuine conversation can be—and how they become part of your travel memories. To everyone at Hotel Okura Fukuoka, thank you for giving me such wonderful memories.

I was in Fukuoka with my daughters, and each of us had our own plans. We searched for a place where the three of us could stay together, with free parking and reasonable rates, and decided on Vessel Fukuoka Kaizuka. We really appreciated their hospitality. My daughters were happy and said it was the best Business Hotel they’ve stayed at so far. The Room was clean. Plenty of power outlets. A separate washbasin area apart from the bath/toilet. You can see outside through the window. A good selection of amenities. Two trash bins. Shoes-off indoors. They were really excited about all of that.

I’m a returning guest, and every time I’m impressed by the excellent service from the front desk staff. Of course, the location is great, but I also love how clean everything is, including the Room, and how well maintained it feels down to every detail. I also like that each Room is categorized by its theme color. Thank you as always.

I chose this hotel for my first trip to Hakata because it has convenient access from Fukuoka Airport, is close to the station, and has a large public bath. All of the staff were polite and kind. I had sent my luggage ahead of time, and they brought it to me at check-in, and when I accidentally left without my card key, they handled it with a smile. The Room was spacious and very clean. There were separate slippers for the public bath and disposable slippers for use in the Room, which helped me relax. There were also plenty of restaurants and food stalls nearby for dinner, making it easy to get around at night. It was a very satisfying trip.

We stayed in a Premier Twin Room for three people. It was compact but very functional and easy to use, and it felt new and clean, so we had a comfortable stay. [What we liked] - The shower and hair dryer were ReFa; the shower mist in particular felt amazing. - The bath and toilet were separate, which was very helpful for three people. - The bed had a wonderfully soft, springy feel and was extremely comfortable. The pillow height and firmness were just right, so I slept soundly. (I often struggle to find beds or pillows that suit me, so I was impressed!) - There was a Nespresso machine, and the cups and saucers were stylish—enjoying delicious coffee in the Room was a treat. - A convenience store is nearby, which is handy. It’s also just two stops from Hakata with great access; if you go through the commercial complex connected to the station, you can get there with almost no time spent walking outside. (It was a hot day, so this really helped.) - Although it faces a main road, the hotel interior was very quiet. - I called the front desk with a question late at night (and felt bad about it), but they responded kindly and politely. I’d definitely like to stay here again next time I visit Hakata!

Despite being in the midst of Tenjin’s urban bustle, I was able to spend a serene time that felt like a different world. I was highly satisfied with everything from the hospitality and Facility to the amenities and dining. This stay reaffirmed for me the essential value of Hotel service: forgetting everyday life, relaxing, and recharging for tomorrow. In particular, the “perfectly balanced sense of distance” in the service throughout the Hotel and the pleasantly unpretentious atmosphere were truly comfortable. As one of Fukuoka’s premier luxury hotels, it isn’t an experience I can have often, but it left a lasting impression and is a Hotel I would love to stay at again someday.

Not only is the location convenient and close to the station, but your staff’s excellent service made it an easy choice to stay at your Hotel again this year. It seems Fukuoka has been experiencing hot days as well, so please take good care of yourselves. I look forward to visiting again.

No matter when I stay, the staff are always wonderful—friendly and truly pleasant to deal with. The rooms are thoroughly cleaned, and I was able to relax in comfort. This Hotel was clean, and the staff were courteous. I had a comfortable stay without being bothered by noise in the Hotel. I will stay here again next time.

From the photos, I initially thought we would have to climb stairs to enter, but the building is designed so you can take an elevator down to the basement, which made our stay with my elderly mother easy and comfortable. The design is outstanding, and after entering you first arrive at the basement front desk and lounge—an exciting start that really builds anticipation. The Room was bright and open, with a very spacious bathroom; the sink area is separate and close to the bedroom, making it extremely convenient and comfortable overall. This is a Hotel I definitely want to return to.

I planned a trip to Fukuoka as a birthday treat for myself, and I had a very comfortable stay at the Miyako Hotel. The Facility and Room were, of course, wonderful, but what I remember most is how courteous and kind all the staff were. Even as a foreign guest, they treated me warmly and gladly accommodated several requests. Thanks to them, it was truly a pleasant trip. I sincerely appreciate it.

Conveniently located just steps from Hakata Station’s Chikushi Exit. Although the building itself is old, the Room we stayed in had been renovated and was comfortable. If you don’t like the distinctive scent of a Japanese-style room, it might not be for you, but the bathroom and toilet are separate, and the water areas are very clean. Also, unexpectedly, the drinks in the refrigerator were free, and we enjoyed beer and Amaou strawberry cider. And breakfast! The venue is old, but there was a wide variety of dishes, and the tuna and bite-sized steak were very delicious. When staying near Hakata Station, this is a Hotel I’d definitely like to use again.

It was my daughter’s first overnight stay, and seeing her eyes sparkle with excitement made it a wonderful memory for me as well. The amenities were well stocked, and the Room was clean and comfortable. The staff were also very pleasant and welcoming, so we had a relaxing stay. We stayed with No Meals Included this time, but it was still more than satisfying. My daughter had a great time too, so I’m glad we chose this place for her first overnight stay. We’re considering staying again—she’d like to use the Onsen, and we’d love to stay in the princess-themed Room she mentioned.

The parking location was a bit difficult to find during our car trip. However, the reception staff and parking attendants kindly guided us, and we were able to park without any issues. We only had breakfast, but it was very delicious—possibly the best among all the accommodations we've stayed at!

This was my second consecutive week staying here. It’s a bit far from Hakata Station and Tenjin, but it’s still within a 20-minute walk, so it was acceptable. The Facility feels a little old overall, but it was well cleaned and comfortable. The large public bath was spacious, and there was also a sauna, so I could relax after work and recover from fatigue.
