An Accommodation in Awazu Onsen, founded in Yoro 2 (718). Discovered by the monk Taicho Daishi, its sacred spring still flows today. A nationally registered commemorative garden passed down from Kobori Enshu to Sano Toemon. A group of nationally registered tangible cultural properties, masterfully assembled by temple carpenters without a single nail. Time carried on since the monk Garyo, and handed down through 47 generations as guardians of the waters. A vast strolling garden woven with seasonal plants throughout the year, exquisite cuisine by our Executive Chef honored with the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare Award, and our renowned hot spring from a private source overlooking the grand Kutani-yaki ceramic wall remain unchanged— while the spaces have been renewed into an elegant fusion of Japanese and Western styles.
