Both dinner and breakfast were served in a private dining Room, so we could relax and eat at our own pace. The service timing was perfect, and we were fully satisfied with the quality and generous portions of the meals. We also loved that they featured plenty of locally sourced ingredients. The fireworks were spectacular from the rooftop, and the open-air bath in our Room was excellent.

We arrived a little early, kindly left our car, and took a stroll around the area. Right away, we visited Suwa Taisha Shimosha Akimiya Shrine next door. In the backstreets of this historic townscape, you can find Onsen springs here and there—perfect for wandering at leisure. Both inside and outside the property felt very clean, showing careful management throughout. The staff’s smiles, service, and conversation were all refined; we truly felt their hospitality and attentiveness, which made our stay very comfortable. From the Room we stayed in—named “Kirishima”—we enjoyed a view of the grove surrounding Suwa Taisha Shimosha Akimiya Shrine, full of charm and atmosphere. Both dinner and breakfast featured local ingredients, and everything was delicious. We could also sense how dedicated the staff were, which made dining even more enjoyable. Bathing in the panoramic large public bath while looking out over the townscape glowing at dusk was exceptional. The water was a gentle Onsen that seemed to softly cling to the skin. Although it wasn’t in our original plans, we stopped by Harmo Museum about 7–8 minutes away by car after receiving a recommendation as we checked out. Driving along the well-maintained lakeside of Lake Suwa and enjoying wonderful paintings became a great memory for us. It was a truly relaxing Accommodation for adults—wonderful in every way. I stay here when I have business trips to the Suwa area. It had been a while since my last stay, as I hadn’t had the chance to stay recently. The room was clean and comfortable. I especially like the large public bath, and even on a one-night stay, I used it twice—at night and again the next morning. I’d like to stay here again on my next business trip.

There was also a tasting set that let you compare sake from five Suwa breweries; I visited my favorite brewery the next day and bought some sake. Although it is a large Accommodation, the staff’s hospitality was wonderful, and I had a very pleasant stay. I would love to visit a

We stayed in a detached Room. There were four of us, and it was very spacious with a beautiful interior—we were extremely satisfied. From the open-air bath on the 11th floor, we had a panoramic view of Lake Suwa. The meals also included free alcoholic beverages, and the staff were very attentive, so we had a truly wonderful time. Dinner was delicious as well—an unusual style of half-buffet with robatayaki grilling—and the large public bath with an open-air bath was very relaxing. The staff were courteous and attentive, which we really appreciated. The Facility is a bit old, but we chose this Accommodation in Tateshina as the place to commemorate reuniting with my wife for the first time in 50 years, and we were very satisfied. Our family stayed in Shimizu for two nights. Needless to say, the Accommodation building itself was wonderful, but the atmosphere of the entire surrounding village was just as charming. Even before our stay, we started with a hands-on sweets-making experience using agar, and after check-out we wrapped up with a tour of Irisen’s agar factory. Our children loved agar so much that even after returning home from our trip, they’ve been enjoying making desserts every week with the dried agar we bought there. The local regional cuisine we ordered through catering was also delicious, and it was a real treat to enjoy dishes freshly prepared in the kitchen from early morning. It’s a place we’d love to visit again in another season.
