As the tea ceremony flourished from the Azuchi–Momoyama period onward, tatami came to cover entire Rooms, and Japanese people began sitting in seiza.Beyond tea ceremony, many Japanese arts ending in “-do”—such as calligraphy, flower arrangement, and judo—are deeply connected to tatami, which is considered a foundation that helped shape the Japanese spirit.Space, cuisine, and hospitality—this is what a Ryokan offers as it embraces the beauty of Japan’s four seasons in every detail. Yuno Ka Matsunoyu is a traditional Japanese Ryokan with an Onsen, located in the heart of the hot spring town yet maintaining a serene and verdant ambiance. For over 90 years since its opening, it has been cherished as a warm and welcoming property. The charming building harmonizes with its surroundings, offering a tranquil and relaxing experience.

The "Sakaeya Hotel," known for its high-quality natural hot springs, features a variety of bathing facilities such as the large communal baths "Tono-yu" and "Hime-yu," the celestial baths "Orihime & Kengyu," Ondol-style stone saunas, and mugwort steam baths.
