[20 minutes from Hakata Station × Natural Hot Spring (Free-Flowing)]

A long-established ryokan with free-flowing natural hot spring baths, nestled in Hakata’s hidden retreat. Since 1865, we have carried on a tradition of warm hospitality. Long known as Hakata’s inner sanctuary, the ryokan is just 20 minutes from Hakata Station and a 25-minute drive from Fukuoka Airport, yet surrounded by rich nature and mountains ideal for hiking. Since our founding, we have continually evolved—combining hotel-like comfort with the charm of a traditional ryokan—so you can enjoy a truly relaxing stay for both body and mind. Stroll through our beautiful Japanese garden spanning approx. 11,570 m² (3,500 tsubo), showcasing the seasons throughout the year. Our spacious open-air rock baths for both men and women (approx. 330 m² / 100 tsubo each) feature continuously flowing hot spring water; though located in town, the tree-lined setting evokes the feeling of a secluded mountain hot spring. Enjoy monthly changing creative cuisine that highlights seasonal ingredients. Leave everyday bustle behind and savor time at an unhurried pace.
