We enjoyed a “staycation,” with lounge hopping across four lounges as the main highlight. First, we walked from Shinagawa Station to the Hotel, but IKYU’s directions said “cross Daiichi Keihan…,” so we crossed the signal right after exiting the Takanawa Exit. However, the route to the right after crossing was blocked due to construction, so we had to turn back. After exiting the Takanawa Exit, it’s best to turn right and walk along Daiichi Keihan, then turn left at the first traffic light onto Sakura-zaka. Alternatively, since it’s a continuous uphill slope, I think taking the shuttle bus would be a good option. We visited all four lounges, and as expected, Hana-Kouro’s lounge was the most relaxing; the drinks were also of higher quality and excellent. The champagne during cocktail time—and Dassai—was a real treat. We also enjoyed tasting different sake. There were some light bites during cocktail time, but it would have been even better if there had been additional hors d’oeuvres. Breakfast was delicious as well. It was our first time trying a matcha grinding experience, and we really enjoyed it. At the lounge, the staff maintained just the right level of attentiveness throughout without being intrusive, which made it very comfortable. Thank you very much for taking such great care of us. I stayed here for business. I chose this Hotel because it’s close to my client’s company and the parking looked easy to use—and it was the perfect choice! The staff were kind, the food was delicious, and the Room was clean. I slept well and felt truly relaxed. I’ll definitely stay here again next time.

When staying in Tokyo, I often choose Hotel Monterey Akasaka for both business and leisure, and I always feel comfortable and at ease when staying in Akasaka. This time, I stayed for one night with a friend on a private trip. The entire Hotel has a calm atmosphere, the facilities are well maintained and clean, and once again I had a very comfortable stay. The Room was spotless and relaxing, which always gives me peace of mind every time I stay here. Above all, the staff were exceptionally courteous, making my experience pleasant from check-in throughout my stay. No matter when I visit, they welcome me warmly, and their thoughtful attention to detail is one of the reasons I like this Hotel so much. The location is also excellent—very convenient when I have plans around Akasaka—and after returning to the Hotel, it’s quiet and easy to unwind. It’s a Hotel that feels easy to use for both work trips and personal stays. Once again, I was able to relax comfortably and am very satisfied with my stay. In the past my husband usually made the Reservation(s), so this is my first time writing a Review. Thank you as always for welcoming me so kindly. I would love to stay here again whenever I visit Tokyo.

Although it is a little away from the city center, Mitaka Station is the nearest station and it offers convenient access from Shinjuku. The Room meets Richmond’s reliable standards and is comfortable. Breakfast at Sizzler is also highly recommended.

I had business in Shibuya and chose this Hotel because it’s close to the station. I made a Reservation thinking I’d stay at a more upscale Hotel, and it was absolutely the right choice. The night view was wonderful, the Room temperature control was comfortable, and I opted for breakfast (Japanese style)—the rolled omelet and freshly cooked rice were excellent. Next time, I’d like to use the lounge.

The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of options, the Room air conditioning worked well, and above all, the staff were friendly and wonderful. The front desk team, restaurant team, and housekeeping team—especially the male housekeeping staff member I met in the morning when checking out—was so polite that I found myself thinking, “Wait, are you really part of the housekeeping staff?” He made a great impression.

With Hotel rates rising lately, I hadn’t had many chances to stay, but with my birthday coming up, I visited again for the first time in a while. These days, many Hotels seem busy with inbound travelers, and it’s often hard to receive Diamond member benefits. Here, even though the Hotel was nearly full, they still provided them, which made me very happy. The Room was just as before—very clean, with large windows and a great view. It felt like a unit in a luxury apartment building, and I was able to truly relax. The service was excellent and made me want to stay for as many nights as possible. I can’t visit often, but I hope to come again soon. Thank you very much.

I forgot my phone and some clothes, but the staff kindly contacted me, and when I came to pick them up, they handed them to me with a smile. I sincerely thank the staff member who assisted me over the phone and the female staff member at the front desk. I live relatively nearby, but I will definitely stay again.

The location is ideal for visiting the National Stadium. When I checked out early the next morning, they kindly stored my luggage. After I returned once my errands were done, I told the front desk that I had left something in my Room, and they responded quickly, politely, and very pleasantly. The housekeeping staff had neatly placed a note together with the item in a bag, which made me feel this is a trustworthy Hotel. Thank you very much.

All of the staff left a truly great impression and were wonderful. I was very satisfied with the Facility and the meals as well. Since it’s right in front of Jingu Stadium, getting around was extremely easy. The only thing I’d like to see improved is that the large public bath was too hot to stay in for long. (Since there are two tubs, it would be nice if the temperatures could be adjusted.) There were children as well, so I felt a bit sorry for them. Everything else was perfect, so I plan to stay here every year when I come to watch baseball games. Thank you very much.

I had imagined a large Hotel in a great location with lots of people, but the spacious interior was quiet, time passed at a relaxed pace, and it had a calm atmosphere. The lounge was very comfortable, and the Ibasho space was also so pleasant that I hardly stayed in my Room (lol). I was very satisfied. Thank you for taking care of me. I’d like to make another opportunity to return again.

I actually made a mistake with my Reservation this time, and only realized it at check-in, but the staff handled it so kindly that it really helped. I felt terrible because it was my fault, and I’m truly grateful. Everyone at the Hotel was very pleasant, which also made my impression of the Hotel even better. In any case, it’s so close to the station that it’s simply perfect. The Room layout also feels relaxing. I think this is a great Hotel when you want to take it easy and enjoy a slow staycation. I always look forward to breakfast when staying here, and once again the selection did not disappoint. The Japanese-style side dishes were delicious, and the Sanuki udon was excellent as well. I was also happy they had green juice. Overall, it felt like a health-conscious menu. The dining area is spacious and bright, which is nice. One downside is that the Room slippers are not disposable. There’s no note saying they’ve been sanitized either, so I wipe them down with disinfecting wipes I bring with me; having something like a sanitizing spray would be appreciated. Other than that, the Room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. When you take the elevator down to the first floor, there’s a café right there as well, and guests receive a discount there, which was a nice perk. There’s also a convenience store just steps away on the same floor. Both are close enough to reach without an umbrella even in the rain. In that sense too, it’s a very convenient location. There are plenty of good restaurants nearby (including in the station building), which makes exploring fun as well. They also have laundry facilities, and during the day it seems fine to open your laptop and work in the breakfast area—so for business travelers on a Multiple Night Stay, this might be an especially good Hotel.

It was my first time staying in a capsule, but I was pleasantly surprised by how solid the service was. The place was very clean, and the other guests were well-mannered, so I had a comfortable stay. Being able to eat rice, miso soup, curry, and more for free is a great value. This is an Accommodation I’d like to stay at again.

Tatami with beds, very relaxing. Traditional hospitality with tabi socks provided. The bath on the 18th floor offers a stunning night view of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building from the open-air bath. Breakfast exceeded expectations with New Year's osechi dishes. About 80% of guests were from overseas, but everyone had good manners, and the bath area was kept clean. There is a 7-Eleven convenience store across the street.

It was a quiet, relaxing, and stylish Accommodation. From the Setagaya-Daita ticket gate, the lush green path felt like arriving at a sightseeing spot you wouldn’t expect to find in the city center—it was wonderful. The late-night ochazuke and breakfast were both delicious, the Room was spotless, and I slept soundly—an amazing staycation. I worried the bath might be crowded if there were day-use guests, but it wasn’t at all; both at night and in the morning I had it all to myself, which was great. It was very clean as well. There is no cleansing oil or face wash in the bath area, so be sure to bring your own from your Room. I couldn’t make it to the tea lounge or bar because I was already full, but everything looked delicious. My child happened to be quiet so it was fine, but since this is a calm Accommodation, energetic kids might stand out. I didn’t see many families with children. Also, there are shoji screens in the Room, so if you have a child who might tear them you may feel on edge during your stay. At meals they provided a child’s chair and cutlery for us, which was extremely helpful. Going far for an Onsen can be tough, but here you can relax and enjoy an Onsen and great food with satisfaction comparable to an Onsen resort—right in central Tokyo—so I highly recommend it!

I stayed at this Hotel to visit my son and his wife who live in Yokohama, and to meet friends in Ikebukuro. It was very convenient, close to the station and easy to get to Tokyo as well as Shin-Yokohama and Yokohama. Although I arrived early, I was shown to my Room as it was already prepared. It was a single Room, but spacious and spotlessly clean, with a wide bed that made my stay very comfortable. Amenities were available for pickup on the front desk floor and were well stocked. The breakfast buffet offered a great variety and everything was delicious. I would like to stay at this Hotel again on my next trip to the Kanto area.

It had been unbearably hot for so long that I didn’t feel like going anywhere, but I thought a hotel staycation would be enjoyable, so I decided to make a Reservation. The chilled hand towels on arrival and the ice-filled ice bucket provided during turndown were thoughtful touches—especially appreciated in summer. It was also my first time trying lounge hopping, and I miscalculated by eating too much and ending up uncomfortably full at dinner… Still, I enjoyed strolling around the garden inside the Hotel and had a very satisfying stay.

This was my third stay. These days, this is my favorite place to stay when I’m in Tokyo. The club lounge has many international guests, yet it’s very quiet and relaxing, so you can truly unwind at a leisurely pace. I almost forgot it was the Obon holiday period. All of the food served was refined, and they even had my favorite smoked salmon—I was delighted. Some of the staff remembered me and provided very attentive service. I would love to stay here again. Thank you very much.

I stayed here to catch an early-morning highway bus from Busta Shinjuku. As with my usual capsule stays, I brought drinks and snacks, but there was no need. In the shared lounge, I could relax in a chair with free drinks, and several kinds of alcohol were served at night. Late-night snacks such as ramen and ochazuke were also provided, so I had nothing to worry about. I was able to unwind in the large public bath and sauna and recover from my fatigue. Breakfast, including curry rice, was also available, so I could depart with peace of mind. I would definitely like to stay here again next time.

I thought it might be an old Hotel, but the entire building has been renovated and was very clean!! The unit bath was also very clean, and the shower curtain was hygienic with no unpleasant musty odor. It was also nice that most of the in-room Facility items were from Japanese brands. For reference, the hair dryer was Panasonic, the electric kettle was Zojirushi, and the mug cup was Narumi. The front desk staff were Japanese, and check-in/out service was smooth. I was also impressed by how delicious the complimentary breakfast was. You can choose a main fish such as salmon, hokke (Atka mackerel), or sanma (Pacific saury). You can choose three small side dishes from several options. It came with rice, miso soup, and pickles—an ideal Japanese breakfast. I would like to stay here again.
