I had wanted—at least once—to step into Salon Yamasato, the private lobby lounge of Koshinosato. I’d been thinking that way for the past 10 years. As we reached our 60th birthday milestone as a couple, we decided to make the Reservation at this turning point in our lives. We truly loved the cuisine, amenities, and atmosphere. We were deeply impressed by the high-quality meals—it was unforgettable hospitality throughout our stay. Also, the “macarons” and “gelato” in Kaho’s salon were absolutely top-class delicious—I couldn’t stop eating them. The flavor stayed with me, and I kept wondering what brand they were. It made me strongly want to come back again. Thank you very much. The concierge staff were also incredibly kind—simply wonderful.

The moment we entered the Room, the children cheered. It was spacious, luxurious, and spotless. At night, we could enjoy the fireworks over Lake Suwa right in front of us, filling the entire window. I was truly impressed by a stay that exceeded all expectations in comfort! After feeling refreshed in the barrel sauna, I cooled down in the open-air jacuzzi. At night, I enjoyed the warm Onsen and then relaxed again in the jacuzzi. Both dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious—one amazing moment after another!! All of the staff were kind and attentive while keeping a comfortable distance, and they took great care of us. We could also enjoy a panoramic view of Mt. Fuji from reception, making it a soothing getaway surrounded by nature. The next day we visited the large public bath in the bathing facility, but unfortunately the weather was bad and we couldn’t see Mt. Fuji. Next time, I’m looking forward to unwinding in the sauna and enjoying some fresh-air relaxation while taking in Mt. Fuji’s magnificent view. My husband and I promised each other we’ll definitely return—and book a Multiple Night Stay. Until then, I’ll work hard (haha).

It was a birthday trip to celebrate my friend. The cherry blossoms on the grounds were in full bloom, and the garden was beautifully maintained. Above all, the staff’s attentiveness was wonderful. I traveled with my mother in her 80s. The staff, the meals, and the baths—everything exceeded our expectations. My mother was very happy too. We had a Multiple Night Stay, and they made sure the meals didn’t repeat, and everything was delicious. If I had one request, since it was a hot summer, I would have appreciated a refrigerator with a freezer compartment to freeze ice packs (it was refrigerator-only).

The Facility feels a bit dated, but the Room was spacious (even with a standard Reservation, it had two separate rooms) and very clean. Since the air conditioner’s airflow direction in the Room couldn’t be adjusted, it felt cold if you were sitting where the air hit directly. When making the Reservation, I meant to choose a plan with breakfast and dinner but mistakenly selected breakfast only, so there was no dinner included. However, the staff provided a map and recommended nearby restaurants where we could have dinner. Breakfast was buffet-style, but there were only two start times—7:00 or 8:00—and since seating is rotated at 8:00, you can’t be late. I wish start times could be chosen in 15-minute increments. The made-to-order omelet was delicious. There is an open-air bath, and as it is known as “beauty-skin hot spring,” it left my skin feeling smooth. The torii gate of Yahiko Shrine is very close by, making this Accommodation convenient for visiting the shrine.

Upon arrival, the parking lot was already full, which showed how popular this place is. The front desk staff were efficient, and we quickly checked in and enjoyed a welcome drink. Dinner offered a wide variety of dishes, which we thoroughly enjoyed! Everything was delicious.

I stayed one night with breakfast only, and the rate was reasonably priced through Yahoo Travel, so I had no issues at all. The Onsen Facility and the guest room were very clean, and I had no complaints whatsoever. The breakfast buffet was also very delicious—thank you for the wonderful meal!
