We stayed at this Accommodation mainly for the teppanyaki. The cooking was performed right in front of us. The meal included oysters, shrimp, fish, and meat, and we ended up far too full. In the morning, we also enjoyed omelets and French toast made on the teppan, so both dinner and breakfast were delicious. The staff were kind and attentive. Thank you very much.

We stayed in the maisonette as a family of four. Even with two beds and two futon sets, there was still plenty of living room space, so we could relax comfortably. The view from the open-air bath was outstanding. The meals were delicious, and it was a very satisfying stay.

I stayed here on a solo trip. Everyone at the Accommodation was incredibly kind and helpful! The meals at the Accommodation were beautifully presented and delicious—I was very satisfied. I was surprised that the drinks in the Room were free! I enjoyed having alcohol on the terrace to cool off in the evening, and drinking oolong tea after a bath, haha. In the morning, I made drip coffee using hot water from the water dispenser and spent my time feeling refreshed. The Room was also very clean, and the in-room bath was an Onsen. There wasn’t any mold at all in the bathroom. The grout was spotless, the faucets were shiny, and even the drain was clean. The large public bath was great too—the design is lovely. This time my goal for the next day was visiting shrines, so I went to Ishigami-san, Hikodaki Daimyojin, and Isawa Shrine. They kindly explained nearby roads and how to get around, which helped a lot. What’s more, even after I had checked out, they actually ran after me just to give me a taxi company phone number. Thanks to that, I could take a taxi when traveling from Hikodaki Daimyojin to Isawa Shrine and arrived an hour earlier! They also recommended a very kind taxi company, so the driver told me what preparations I needed for visiting Isawa Shrine as well—and I made it up safely! It turned into such a wonderful trip! I’d definitely love to stay again!

During our trip to Ise, we stayed at this Ryokan in Toba and had a truly wonderful time. From the warm welcome on arrival, the bus driver’s cheerful conversation helped us relax and made us feel comfortable from the very start of our journey. At the Ryokan, the Onsen was exceptional. I was so happy that my skin felt silky smooth that I ended up soaking six times—I couldn’t have been more satisfied. The staff also kindly gave us detailed advice for sightseeing the next day. They even considered train schedules, which helped us make the most of our limited time. Of course, we were completely satisfied with everything—the view from our Room and all of the meals. In every moment, we felt the staff’s thoughtful attention to detail, and it was clear that they are consistently well trained. Finding a Ryokan that genuinely made me think, “I want to stay here again,” is one of my favorite memories from this trip. Thank you very much to all of the staff. When we visit Ise and Toba again, we would love to stay with you.

It was a wonderful Hotel that exuded classic history and elegance. Not only were the in-house Facilities excellent, but we were also truly impressed by the delicious cuisine and the breathtaking panoramic view over Toba Bay. Above all, the staff’s attentive care and warm hospitality were outstanding, allowing us to spend our entire stay in comfort and relaxation. At the club lounge, we enjoyed a leisurely time along with high-quality drinks and lounge-exclusive dishes. The cheesecake—so well known that people say “Toba International Hotel means cheesecake”—was indeed as delicious as its reputation suggests, adding a special touch to our stay. In addition, the “Pearl Aurora Bath” infused with pearl ingredients at Shiojitei on the grounds was exceptional; its shimmering water gently soothed away our travel fatigue. The food, location, bath, and service from the staff—everything made for a highly satisfying stay. This is a truly wonderful Hotel that we would love to visit again. Thank you very much.

This was my first stay, and the Room was spacious and very relaxing. The in-room bath and open-air bath were wonderful and felt amazing. Dinner offered a wide variety of dishes, and I was full and satisfied—it was delicious. I’d love to visit again.

I stayed here with my mother and nephew on a trip for three. We were able to relax in a separate Room, and we could also borrow colorful yukata. This trip was to help cheer up my mother before she begins medical treatment, so it was truly wonderful. Breakfast was gently seasoned, and it seemed my mother was able to enjoy plenty of it as well. I would love to stay again. Thank you very much.

We were very satisfied with the meals. Everything we had for dinner was delicious. For breakfast, you can grill freshly dried horse mackerel at your table on a tabletop stove. The eggs were cooked on a ceramic hot plate, and we could choose between fried eggs or scrambled eggs to suit our preference. You can also have refills of rice. It was very windy so we only spent about two hours at the beach, but since the large public bath is available even after check-out, you can freshen up before heading home. The facilities were also kept clean and well maintained. For those who smoke, there is a smoking room in the building. We would love to stay again if we have the chance.

My daughter and I had a wonderful stay. Everything we ate was delicious, and we enjoyed a very filling meal—simply the best! We were really looking forward to the baths; it was raining on the first day so we couldn’t use the open-air bath, but the rain stopped the next morning and we were able to go in. The view was amazing! If I had to say one thing, I would have preferred the bath temperature a little lower—it felt quite hot. Still, we’d love to stay again. Thank you very much.

Although it was a discounted Room with no ocean view, the princess-style bed was wonderful, and it was nice not having to wear a yukata. You can make a private Reservation for karaoke, the sauna, the hot stone spa, and the open-air bath. There were also plenty of free activities such as table tennis, billiards, games, and lots of books. The meals were delicious with a great selection of drinks—everything was excellent. They even had ice cream after your bath. This will be my third stay here.

As a devoted fan of Toba Grand Hotel—and as “Captain Donguri”—please allow me to share a few ideas with affection: 1) Extend lounge hours (until 11:00 p.m.) Spending time in that sophisticated lounge atmosphere is exceptional. If guests could enjoy complimentary drinks until 11:00 p.m., the evening would become an even more special memory. 2) Revitalize the retro game arcade & festival-style corner If an energetic “festival corner” were added to that nostalgic, welcoming arcade area, it would surely become a signature spot where adults and children alike can have fun across generations. 3) Seasonal limited-time “all-you-can-eat fruit” buffet feature For example, “all-you-can-eat strawberries” in early spring or “all-you-can-eat melon” in summer—having seasonal highlight events at the buffet would help attract repeat guests year-round and generate even more buzz. Of course, I fully understand that the working environment for your staff and operational considerations must come first. With that in mind, I would be grateful if you could keep these ideas in mind simply as one fan’s dream of what would be wonderful if it could be realized. With Toba Grand Hotel’s potential—and the passion of your staff—I truly believe you will continue to be the overwhelming No. 1 Hotel in the region without question. Even though we made a last-minute Reservation and asked for several special requests, you kindly accommodated us, and all the staff were incredibly helpful—we were truly impressed. The Room had a panoramic ocean view, and it was wonderful to see both the full moon and the sunrise. The Onsen was excellent as well; our children loved it and went in three times. The meals were delicious with generous portions, and we were very satisfied. The lounge has been beautifully renovated, and the welcome drink was a nice touch. The summer vacation–only pool and fireworks delighted our kids, and it was just a short walk from the Accommodation to the beach, making it easy to go back and forth between the pool and the sea. Because they had such a great time, our children said they definitely want to come again next year. Thank you very much for everything—we look forward to staying with you again.

At dinner, the proprietress came to speak with us, and when we mentioned our 30th wedding anniversary, she gave us a wonderful handwritten gift that truly moved us. We were so happy. We have it proudly displayed at home. The unexpected present became a very special memory.\nThe views from the Room and the dining area were exceptional as well.\nAt breakfast, we also had the chance to chat with a staff member from our hometown. The food was delicious, the free drinks were great, and we could watch the fireworks right in front of us—it was amazing. Thank you very much. If we have another opportunity, we would definitely like to stay again.

The Room and baths were spacious, and the amenities were well stocked, making our stay very comfortable. We were able to relax at our leisure with the private open-air bath and the indoor Sakakibara Onsen. Since there was no Wi-Fi in the Room, I rated the Facility 4 stars, but it turned out to be a good opportunity to put our phones away and unwind together as a family. Dinner was plentiful—featuring a boat platter of sea bream, spiny lobster, abalone, and amberjack, as well as wagyu beef grilled on a ceramic plate—and everything was delicious. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with this Accommodation!

We had an amazing trip—played to our heart’s content in the pool, enjoyed all three types of baths, and left completely satisfied after a hearty buffet meal! We stayed as three generations of family. The kids’ room had a variety of board games and a ball pit, and we also enjoyed complimentary drinks in the lobby—everything was taken care of. We highly recommend it. The staff were courteous and attentive, and we’re truly grateful.

I stayed here with my mother in her 80s. From the moment we arrived, we felt thoughtful attention to detail, and it left a wonderful impression. Enjoying a delicious cheesecake while looking out at the ocean was lovely, and we ended up relaxing in the lobby for quite a while. We stayed in two Japanese-style Rooms, which were spacious and comfortable, and the futons were exceptionally cozy. In the evening, there were unexpected activities like roasting marshmallows and watching fireworks, which became great memories. We only had breakfast, but it was elegantly seasoned with light flavors and generously featured ingredients from Mie Prefecture—everything was delicious. The portion size was just right. The baths were kept very clean, and all of them—including the open-air bath and pearl bath—were truly relaxing. The staff’s courteous service also made a great impression. We chose Shiojitei to celebrate my mother’s full recovery, and I’m glad she enjoyed it. I would definitely like to stay again!

Whenever I visit Mie Prefecture, I always choose Todaya for my Accommodation. The Room is clean, and the Onsen is wonderfully relaxing. The meals are so plentiful and high-quality that I can’t eat another bite! Above all, the staff’s attentiveness and hospitality are perfect. I’ll be staying again next year. I’m already looking forward to it.

My spouse and I stayed for a Multiple Night Stay (2 nights) on the Standard Plan. The Room was spacious and very clean, and we were able to relax in great comfort. The guest room had an indoor bath, but the complimentary 45-minute private open-air bath was truly wonderful. Being able to soak side by side at our own pace was the highlight of our stay, so we hardly used the indoor bath. The open-air bath also had a lovely atmosphere and became a great travel memory. The meals exceeded our expectations. Every dish was delicious, with plenty of variety—we were completely satisfied. It was especially memorable to see my wife, who usually eats lightly, enjoying far more than usual, which shows just how good everything was. Since it was a Multiple Night Stay, we expected similar meals each day, but on the second night we were impressed by a completely different course featuring grilled oysters, fried oysters, and Matsusaka beef sukiyaki. What stayed with us most was the spiny lobster miso soup at breakfast on the second day. Although it was small in size, it used one whole spiny lobster—an indulgent dish that tasted amazing and remains unforgettable. The staff’s thoughtful attention and warm hospitality were also excellent, making our entire stay pleasant from start to finish. Overall, this Accommodation exceeded our expectations in every way. When we visit Toba Aquarium again next time, we would love to stay here again.
