I traveled with my mother in her 80s. The staff, the meals, and the baths—everything exceeded our expectations. My mother was very happy too. We had a Multiple Night Stay, and they made sure the meals didn’t repeat, and everything was delicious. If I had one request, since it was a hot summer, I would have appreciated a refrigerator with a freezer compartment to freeze ice packs (it was refrigerator-only).

Superb Rooms overlooking Miyako Blue and an outstanding cocktail hour—this is exactly why I strongly hope to see the “lounge operation” perfected. As a newly opened Hotel, I had been eagerly looking forward to it since last year. After actually staying, I was overwhelmed by the refined, upscale concept and beautifully crafted spaces on par with Mirage. As a devoted heavy repeat guest who truly loves Shigira Resort, I can say that—just like the Allamanda main building—the hospitality and service quality of the staff are top-tier. What impressed me most was the design of the Executive Ocean Room. Being able to soak in the bathtub at leisure while gazing out at the Miyako Blue sea right in front of you is pure luxury, and personally, I found this Room’s spatial design among the best on the island. Due to our flight schedule, we used the lounge starting from cocktail time, and to be perfectly frank, it surpassed Mirage within the same resort. The selection was extensive and everything was exquisite. My spouse and I do not drink alcohol, but there was one exceptional fruit juice (it’s so delicious that I’d rather not name it for fear it will become too popular) that made us feel its cost must be even higher than many alcoholic options—resulting in a thoroughly satisfying evening even for non-drinkers. Breakfast is also very stylish, with excellent presentation and taste. However, from a professional perspective, one suggestion: there are too many liquid items such as various smoothies, which leaves you feeling overly full of fluids. I felt there may be room to reconsider the overall balance of offerings (the proportion of beverages). And precisely because everything else was perfect and we were extremely satisfied overall, there is one—and only one—major point where I would ask for strict improvement: the Executive Lounge tea time. After breakfast, we went to the lounge with high expectations based on how wonderful cocktail time had been the night before—but were shocked to find it almost completely empty of food. Promoting that state as “tea time” as a perk for club-floor guests is clearly detrimental to a Hotel with such strong branding. I strongly request prompt improvement. The facilities are excellent; staff quality is outstanding; cocktail time is truly superb—which makes only this gap at tea time feel especially wasteful. This Hotel undoubtedly has what it takes to be among Miyakojima’s very best, so I hope that by my next stay your lounge operation will have been updated into its ideal form.

A luxurious, unhurried escape right in front of the sea. The private pool, sauna, and relaxation area were fantastic—an ideal space to enjoy without worrying about anyone around you. Spending time at a leisurely pace while taking in the ocean view was truly soothing, making it easy to forget everyday life and fully unwind. Rather than packing your schedule with sightseeing, this villa is perfect for those who want to slow down and simply enjoy being here. When my husband and I stayed here before, we felt it would be easy for seniors to visit as well, so this time I brought my mother. The Room with an open-air bath was spacious, and the view from the deck was wonderful. It was actually a semi-open-air bath rather than fully open-air, but apples were provided so we could enjoy an apple bath in the Room, which made my mother very happy. We also appreciated the free drinks. This time, a staff member told us there was apple pizza available, and we were grateful to be able to try it. It was delicious. As we already knew, the large public bath and the open-air bath are separated, so it’s a bit of a hassle to change clothes and move between them. However, the hot spring water is excellent, so we were glad we came. This time there was even a large apple floating in the bath, which made us feel you can enjoy something different each season. Perhaps because it was the off-season, the dining area felt small. I was disappointed that there weren’t any carts like I saw elderly guests using last time, but the salad selection was plentiful and tasty. Just like last time, there was no information at all about craft activities such as making herbarium items—maybe because we’re not part of a younger generation? My mother really enjoyed herself, so I’m glad we came.

We stayed in connecting rooms with three generations—our children, our grandchild, and us. On the day we arrived, we went to Dino Park; early the next morning, we visited the Dinosaur Museum; and in the afternoon, we had a great time playing at the Hotel. Our 8-year-old grandchild was thrilled and said, “This is the best Hotel I’ve ever stayed at!” It didn’t feel old at all—perhaps it has been renovated—and there were plenty of play areas for kids, so we could enjoy both indoors and outdoors. The food was delicious as well. My husband says he wants to come back in winter, and our children want to return again with all the cousins. The nature was beautiful, and it turned into a wonderful summer vacation for both adults and kids. Thank you.

Welcome drinks included coffee, soft drinks, and delicious onion soup. In the evening, wine and snacks were also available. The meals were served buffet-style and were satisfying. It would have been nice to have condiments on the table. The room and bath were well-cleaned, making for a comfortable stay. This is one of the accommodations I would like to revisit.

My husband stayed here on a solo motorcycle trip. He was very pleased that he could relax at this quiet seaside Accommodation. He also said the seafood was delicious. Thank you very much.

I stayed here three times in one year. It’s my favorite Accommodation, where you can relax and enjoy a peaceful stay in a quiet location. The hostess and her husband are so friendly and warm, and I looked forward to every visit. The food is always truly delicious. This time I stayed for two nights, and I was deeply impressed by how thoughtfully they changed the dishes each day. Waking up early to watch the sunrise over the sea was also wonderful! The shared spaces were kept clean and comfortable as well. After traveling around Ehime Prefecture over the past year, choosing this place again at the end was absolutely the right decision. We stayed in a Room with a private pool at SideB. Both the Room and the pool were spacious, and we were able to relax deeply. The pool, which seems to have been newly built this year, is large enough for serious swimming. All of the Hotel staff were kind, and chatting at the café and during breakfast became one of our highlights. It’s a wonderful Hotel, and we’d love to come back.

This was my fourth stay—I’m a repeat guest. I’m always comforted by the warm hospitality of the staff. I’m giving 4 stars because dinner felt less filling than before. I’d be happy if you could serve local fish. Breakfast was excellent, just as expected. I’d love to come again.

I have stayed here many times. The Room is spacious, and the view of Lake Biwa right in front of you is very relaxing. Breakfast and dinner are not buffet-style, so you can enjoy your meal at a leisurely pace. It’s a shame that the large public bath does not have an open-air bath, but the staff are very pleasant and it is a comfortable Hotel.

We stayed here as a couple to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. The Onsen was wonderful. Thank you for the complimentary champagne service at dinner.

A truly wonderful Facility! The Room was very clean, and we had a comfortable stay. There was a pool right in front of the Room, and we could also see the Kouri Bridge—an absolutely stunning view! We’d love to stay again!

We stayed for one night with a child (No Meals Included), and the staff were very courteous. After walking around for sightseeing, our child was tired and in a bad mood, and I was exhausted from long-distance driving and sightseeing as well. We were able to relax and ease our fatigue in the bath, and even enjoy a snowy view from the open-air bath (as a cold wave had arrived). The scenery was wonderful, and we were very satisfied. The Room was also kept clean and well prepared, providing a comfortable environment to rest.

I debated for a long time whether to write a Review, but I decided to do so. The food was excellent, and I was satisfied with the bath. However, there were several shortcomings in how my comments entered at the time of Reservation via IKYU were handled, which left me disappointed.
