The Room was spacious and comfortable with individual air conditioning, and the front desk staff were kind and attentive. The large public bath was also very relaxing, with an open-air bath and a sauna. The amenities were well stocked, and I have no complaints at all. If I’m in the area again, I will definitely stay here again. I can confidently recommend it to everyone.

Although I thought it was a bit pricey, I stayed here because I was drawn to its overseas-like atmosphere. The Hotel’s service and amenities were high quality, and I was very satisfied!! It was a little disappointing that there weren’t any sightseeing spots within walking distance nearby, but I was able to relax and take it easy with the lovely Room and the view. I’d definitely like to visit again.

I made a Reservation because I heard you can see the sunset, and it was absolutely amazing! The Room was more spacious and comfortable than I expected. As soon as I opened the door, I turned on the air conditioner right away... The front desk staff were also very kind! The breakfast bread was really delicious! If I have the chance, I’d love to come back and relax again!!

After sightseeing in Sapporo and Otaru during the peak Obon holiday period, our family of four stayed here. We had a connecting room with a great view, and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast venue the next morning was not crowded, so we could enjoy our meal at a relaxed pace. As guests receive a 5% discount, we bought lots of souvenirs at the shop, and we were able to arrange shipping at the front desk, which made things much easier both physically and mentally. We stayed here for the Nagaoka Fireworks Festival. The building seems old, but the Room, floors, and Facility are clean. The meals are very delicious. There was plenty of rice, vegetables, and side dishes, and we ended up eating too much at every meal. The Onsen has several types of baths, so you can relax and enjoy it comfortably. We would love to stay here again for the Nagaoka Fireworks Festival next year.

I have stayed here many times. At a typical Ryokan, I’m a light eater, so the meals served are often more than I can finish. For that reason, wherever I go, I stay without meals included. I eat at nearby restaurants and order only what I want and can finish. It’s cheaper and makes for a more relaxed trip. From that perspective, Kameya Rakkan is the best Hotel. Of course, the staff are kind as well, and I appreciate their attentive service. I will stay again.

The Facility is old, but it is kept very clean. We stayed in a Room with an open-air bath, and the veranda has a slatted floor, so you don’t have to worry about it being wet after bathing—it’s a very well-designed layout. I enjoyed using the open-air bath many times. Despite the good amenities and the convenient location right in front of Shirarahama Beach, it was reasonably priced. My wife liked it very much as well, so I think we will visit again.

The other day, I stayed at Hotel Foresta Chokai. Above all, the staff were incredibly kind and made my stay very comfortable. From the moment I arrived, they took great care of me, and it was a wonderful Hotel that truly made me think, “I want to stay here again.” The Room was also comfortable, and the setting—where you can really feel the surrounding nature and Mt. Chokai—was fantastic. There is also the famous Hottai Falls nearby, within driving distance, so I think it’s a great bonus that you can enjoy sightseeing along with your stay. And most of all, the Onsen was amazing! The open-air bath was especially relaxing, and I was happy to hear that guests can use the private family bath free of charge as well. I enjoyed the Onsen at night, and by chance it was quiet during the first-bath time slot in the morning too, so I used it again. Being able to enjoy the Onsen both at night and in the morning made me feel like I got an extra special treat. This is a warm and welcoming Hotel where you can relax in a nature-rich location, enjoy an excellent Onsen, and experience genuinely caring service from the staff. I really loved my stay this time and would definitely like to visit again. Thank you for such a wonderful time!

After visiting Ise Jingu from Tokyo, we stayed here. The Hotel is close to Kumano Sanzan and located by the Pacific Ocean. The staff were all wonderful, and the dinner featuring fresh tuna bowl, whale sashimi, and Tatsuta-age was exquisite. At the nearby Whale Museum, we had a rare experience feeding and touching whales. This clean and lovely Hotel offers a luxurious breakfast accompanied by live piano music. We stayed for two nights, enjoying the slow pace of time in Taiji Town—a place filled with whale and dolphin monuments—and hoped that this traditional fishing culture continues for generations to come. We truly want to visit again! Thank you to all the Hotel staff for your hospitality! Highly recommended Hotel for everyone!

I stayed during Golden Week. I expected it to be crowded, but I was glad I could spend a quiet time. The meals were so filling that I felt they could have been a bit smaller, as I’m in my 60s. The sunset was beautiful while looking out over the Mikuma River, and it felt very pleasant. All the staff were kind and welcoming. I would like to stay again.

I forgot to submit the survey, so I’m leaving a comment here. I stayed this summer. The meals were excellent, especially the fish. The portions were generous and left me completely satisfied. The large public bath was spacious and very relaxing. Some parts of the Facility seem a bit old, but the location is convenient and it stays cool, so I was able to unwind. I’d like to stay again in summer.

Both the breakfast and dinner buffets were delicious, and we were very satisfied. The view from the Onsen was wonderful, and we were especially happy that there was a carbonated bath. The price was reasonable and made it easy to stay, which was very helpful. We would definitely like to stay again if we have the opportunity.

The fresh fish sashimi was outstanding. The meat dishes were also delicious, and we were very satisfied. The service was courteous and attentive. I think this Accommodation would be comfortable with no issues for guests up to their 60s. As Tokiwaya is a traditional Ryokan, I felt there are many challenges in terms of accessibility. I stayed with my 95-year-old mother, so I made a Reservation for a Room with a private bath, but there were many steps inside the Room and the bathtub was deep (my mother was able to step over it), which unfortunately made it difficult to use.

Everything else was delicious, and we’ll definitely come again—for nourishment and for a refreshing reset. I also enjoyed Pilates, and took a gentle lantern walk at night with my grandchild. It was March and still cold at home, but we were able to swim here—such wonderful memori

My spouse and I stayed here with our parents, booking two separate buildings. After reading Reviews saying things like “the meals aren’t great for the price,” we honestly didn’t expect much—but there were no issues at all. The portions were more than enough (and you can order extra if needed), everything was delicious, and we had nothing to complain about. Of course, the bath was amazing. Unfortunately, we happened to be there during a typhoon and couldn’t see the stars at night, so we will definitely return—next time, I’d love to soak in the bath while looking up at a sky full of stars. One point: there was a mismatch between the breakfast time we thought we had communicated and the time the Accommodation had on record (it was later), which affected our morning departure time and plans afterward. To avoid any misunderstandings about who said what, it would be helpful if you could leave a written note confirming the requested times for dinner and breakfast.
