As we stayed on a weekday, it was comfortably uncrowded and very relaxing. The whitebait pizza in the lounge was delicious. One of my companions loves alcohol and was happy to be able to enjoy beer from the morning as well. The view from the observation deck was great, and it felt like a soothing getaway just one hour from Osaka. The service was also excellent.

The Room is Western-style, clean, and the beds are spacious, so five of us could sleep comfortably. The bath and meals are at Kotohiki Kairo next door. The bath was large and relaxing, and we enjoyed a delicious meal while watching the sunset over the sea.

The meals were thoughtfully prepared and satisfying. There were several library rooms inside the Hotel with an extensive selection of manga magazines, collected volumes, and general books; I could immerse myself in reading while looking out at the ocean. “Chospo” (Choshi Sports)

I saw Mr. Wakata on TV and had been hoping to stay here someday. I had business in Tokushima Prefecture, so I stayed here on my way back. Perhaps because it is a new Accommodation, the Room was very clean, and I was very satisfied with the meals as well. If I have the opportunity, I would like to stay again.

I stayed here for my second night on a solo trip. Tucked away down a small path, it was so quiet—no traffic noise, just birds and insects. There were even cute little frogs on the terrace, which felt wonderful for someone who loves wildlife. The grounds are beautifully planted with lots of greenery, and the Room was extremely clean. The meals used ingredients harvested on the property and were outstanding—carefully prepared and delicate, yet warmly home-style at the same time. After the delicious dinner, they prepared a beautiful open-air bath for me, and I slept like a log until right before breakfast time. The owner couple were also very kind, sharing details about the ingredients, the plants on the property, and recommended spots to visit. This is a truly wonderful Accommodation filled with their care in every aspect—from the Room to the food to all Facilities. It’s an Accommodation I’ll definitely want to return to. I chose this Accommodation because I was planning to stay near Cape Irago for a motorcycle event. As others have written, the food is unquestionably delicious and plentiful. I was especially satisfied with both the quality and quantity of the sashimi. They served many other dishes as well, but I still felt full from the Iekei ramen I had for lunch, so I couldn’t finish the simmered fish or the hot pot—and that was truly disappointing because everything tasted so good. Next time I stay, I think I should skip lunch. Since we were leaving early the next day, I couldn’t eat breakfast, which was a shame, but the rice balls they prepared for us were very tasty—so it made me think breakfast must have been great too... The bath was out of order, so we used a day-use bath at a Hotel about a 10-minute walk away. I was tired and would have preferred using the Accommodation’s bath, but the Hotel’s large public bath felt great as well, so overall it balanced out and I gave 4 stars. I heard our Room would be on the third floor and thought climbing stairs might be tough, but there was an elevator, which was reassuring. The Room being a Japanese-style room felt comfortable for me. The toilet and sink area seemed to have been renovated; they were bright and clean—and of course there was a washlet toilet seat. Since we’re coming from Kyushu, it’s not easy to visit without a motorcycle event, but if there’s another opportunity, I’d like to stay again.

I made a Reservation on behalf of my parents, and they said it was wonderful! They mentioned that many of the staff were foreigners, so there were a few things they didn’t fully understand, but the food was delicious and they had a very enjoyable stay. The Room felt a bit old, and the railing was low, so families with small children should be careful. They also really enjoyed trying the sand bath for the first time. They were happy that the shop was spacious as well. They chose a Plan with all-you-can-drink; the draft beer was excellent, but the meal was so good and filling that they couldn’t drink much beer—haha. For dinner, I had noted in advance that they can’t eat fish, and you kindly accommodated this. My father was especially happy because everything served was something he could eat, which made me happy too. Thank you very much for taking such good care of my parents. Next time, we will stay with our whole family. Thank you again.

We have been staying here as one of our regular Accommodations since your opening, for family trips and business travel. About 16 years ago, when our children were small, breakfast was a must for us, and I remember it being far better than it is now. However, in the past few years, I regret to say it no longer feels like a level we can continue choosing based on those memories. Given the location, it is an excellent base whether heading north or south. I believe your Accommodation holds an important position as a key presence and landmark in the Chubu region. I hope that, even without making it extravagant, you will be able to take steps to bring the breakfast quality back to what it once was. I understand the food and beverage department faces challenges amid cost competition, but I sincerely hope you can create an environment where improvements can continue.

It was a Hotel with an outstanding view and location overlooking Lake Biwa. We made a Reservation for two twin Rooms for our family, and they even connected the two Rooms internally—service beyond what we expected. Although there are limited hours of use, the panoramic bath on the 7th floor was also great. The Room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and we had a very pleasant stay.

I stayed here for a Mt. Tsukuba hike. I really appreciated being able to pick up the ropeway discount tickets even before check-in. The Onsen after the hike was incredibly soothing. The bath area has been beautifully renovated, and the amenities (POLA) were excellent. The view of the Kanto Plain from the Room is stunning, and the night scenery is beautiful as well. When I woke up in the morning, everything was pure white—I enjoyed a morning bath surrounded by clouds and a delicious Japanese breakfast. It wasn’t clearly stated, but free drinks like coffee and apple juice were available, which was a pleasant surprise. Both the restaurant staff and front desk staff were very courteous and left a great impression. I’ll definitely stay again.

This was my first time staying at this Hotel, recommended by my daughter-in-law. When I informed the staff about our significantly delayed check-in, they responded kindly and professionally. The Room was clean and spacious, with an amazing view from the balcony. My husband and I are already discussing coming back next time with our son, his wife, and our grandchild.
