This was my first stay at an all-inclusive Accommodation, and I was truly able to relax both in time and in mind. It was wonderful to enjoy views of the beautiful garden and Matsushima from the Room. The bath was a comfortable size, and it was unusual (and convenient) that it was on an upper floor, so I went in many times. The meals were genuinely delicious just as the Reviews said—I wanted to eat everything—but waiting in line a little helped prevent overeating, and I found it enjoyable to watch everything being prepared while looking forward to it. Above all, I felt that one reason it became such a luxurious experience was that all the staff provided service efficiently, with smiles and a calm sense of ease. The lounge at night also had a lovely atmosphere, and we were able to relax and talk as a couple, which was great. I would love to stay again if I have the chance. Thank you very much.

I stayed here on a trip with friends.\n\nWe used this Hotel as a base for visiting Ritsurin Garden, which I had long wanted to see. Located up a steep hill, the Hotel also offered beautiful night views. Perhaps because it was a weekday, it never felt crowded, and we were able to relax and enjoy our time. The staff’s service was very pleasant, the meals were delicious, and we were very satisfied.\n\nThe Room had Facilities that conveyed a sense of history, but everything worked properly and was well maintained. One thing: the entrance door was a sliding door designed like shoji screens, so when our conversation got lively, we suddenly worried whether we were being too loud in the hallway or disturbing others. It would have been perfect if we could have chatted without worrying about that.

A wonderful Accommodation perched on a mountain. Service, Onsen, meals, and views—everything deserves five stars. We truly had a lovely time. Thank you very much. The foreign staff member who assisted us was very polite and hardworking, which was another great highlight. In the confirmation call the day before, they also checked about the Shuttle Service, which is available free of charge. Although it’s in Izu Kogen, you can enjoy panoramic ocean views and escape the heat—an undiscovered gem of an Accommodation. Enjoying an Onsen while looking out at the sea from our Room was amazing, and the meals were thoughtfully prepared to appeal to younger guests as well; made with locally sourced ingredients, they were delicious and served in just the right portions. Thank you for welcoming us with such warm hospitality! We booked a Room with an open-air bath, and it felt more open than we expected, which made us a bit nervous, so we used it early in the morning and at night when it seemed like no one would be around. The meals were also delicious, and we were very satisfied! We ate so much we could barely move.

This was our first stay in about two years, and it was an even better trip than before. It was my first trip with my mother, so I was worried whether she would like it, but she was truly impressed—she said the bath and the meals were unlike anything she had ever experienced. The Facility feels a bit dated, but the Room was spacious (even with a standard Reservation, it had two separate rooms) and very clean. Since the air conditioner’s airflow direction in the Room couldn’t be adjusted, it felt cold if you were sitting where the air hit directly. When making the Reservation, I meant to choose a plan with breakfast and dinner but mistakenly selected breakfast only, so there was no dinner included. However, the staff provided a map and recommended nearby restaurants where we could have dinner. Breakfast was buffet-style, but there were only two start times—7:00 or 8:00—and since seating is rotated at 8:00, you can’t be late. I wish start times could be chosen in 15-minute increments. The made-to-order omelet was delicious. There is an open-air bath, and as it is known as “beauty-skin hot spring,” it left my skin feeling smooth. The torii gate of Yahiko Shrine is very close by, making this Accommodation convenient for visiting the shrine.

The front desk and staff welcomed us with warm smiles. The building is old, but it was very clean, with no unpleasant odors, so we had a comfortable stay. Best of all, even though it seemed like guests were staying next door, we didn’t hear any noise at all. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious with light seasoning. The all-you-can-drink option was included as well, making it an excellent value. We grilled turban shells and shrimp on the tabletop stove, and in the morning we grilled horse mackerel. We’d definitely like to come again!

This was my third trip to Miyakojima, but my first time staying overnight here. The building feels a bit dated, as it was built during the bubble era, but it was very well cleaned and felt spotless. One thing I noticed was that the hallway was very hot—probably to save electricity. Being able to take a shower after check-out was extremely helpful, and the staff were great at that time as well. You can see the sunset and even catch a bit of the sunrise—amazing. When I come back to Miyakojima, I will definitely stay here again.

Shikotsuko Onsen was very quiet, with no convenience stores or restaurants nearby, so we were able to relax peacefully. The front desk, lobby lounge, and restaurant areas felt calm, spacious, and comfortable—perhaps also because the Hotel was not fully booked that day. I have often stayed at small guesthouses and pensions recently, so it was great to experience proper Hotel-style service again, even though this was an annex of a major Hotel. Meals at a Ryokan are often more than I can finish, but here the portions were just right. The pasta in particular was excellent. I was also very satisfied with the services such as drink service at dinner, 24-hour coffee service, gelato after dinner (especially the liqueur-topped gelato, which is available for an additional fee), replenishment of towels and water after dinner, and more. It was also nice that we could use the main building’s private open-air bath at a very reasonable price. The complimentary ramune soda was delicious as well. Two points concerned me: first, the Hotel’s Reservation page stated that they would contact guests by phone or email a few days before arrival for confirmation, but we did not receive any contact. Since it also said that staying might not be possible if there is no response, I called the day before; they simply replied that my Reservation existed without any apology for the lack of notice. Second, while the large in-room jacuzzi filled quickly despite its size and was enjoyable once inside, it was difficult to get out because it is deep and high-sided. This could be dangerous for older guests; having steps or at least a non-slip step stool would make bathing much safer.

Stylish yet easy to use. At night, Jupiter shone brightly from the terrace, and in the morning we were soothed by the birds’ songs. Not only was the full-course dinner wonderful, but breakfast was also absolutely delicious! We enjoyed breakfast on the terrace. Thank you very much.

The Onsen is mild, silky-smooth, and very relaxing. The Kiso River cormorant fishing season had also begun, and we could see it right in front of the Hotel. Both my friends and I were truly impressed. The Hotel staff were kind and took great care of us.

This was my second stay, following last year. The calm atmosphere throughout the Hotel truly felt like “THE Ginza”! The Room was stylish yet functional, and I stayed in great comfort. In particular, the Tokyo night view—including Tokyo Tower—made me feel how wonderful it is to be in Ginza. And I thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast I had been looking forward to; it exceeded my expectations. I was deeply moved that a staff member remembered my stay last year and spoke to me. Everyone on the Hotel team is kind, attentive, warm, and friendly. Seeing the younger staff work with bright eyes was beautiful, and it made for a soothing stay—my personal oasis in Tokyo.
