The building incorporates design elements of the original Matsusho-so while embracing traditional Sukiya architecture that harmonizes with nature. Since receiving our charge from Gen’emon Araya, head steward of the hot spring under the Maeda family of the former Daishoji Domain in Kaga, we have carried forward—day by day in our work—the essence of what must remain unchanged and what should evolve.
