About 160 years ago, the founder, Kinzo Takimoto, opened Noboribetsu Onsen to cure his wife’s skin condition. The waters passed down since the Edo period continue to soothe guests who come in search of healing even today. We welcome visitors with five spring qualities: sulfur springs, sodium bicarbonate springs, salt springs, Glauber’s salt springs, and acidic green vitriol springs.
