My daughter and I stayed here together. We had a luggage issue before arriving at the Hotel and ended up arriving an hour late for dinner, but you kindly accommodated us, for which we are truly grateful. For the meal, although it was already past the time when it would normally have been served as a boxed meal, you were considerate enough to serve us as planned, and I was nearly moved to tears. Every dish was not only beautifully presented but also thoughtfully prepared with seasonal ingredients and flavors that guests of any age can enjoy. The seasoning and portions were just right, and everything was truly delicious. We chose the plan with breakfast included, and it was very lavish—yet never heavy—and before we knew it, we had finished everything. The rice was especially delicious; my daughter and I even said afterward that we should have asked for seconds. The Onsen bath was very clean, and it felt so wonderful that we forgot all about the day’s troubles. We also used the open-air bath; since it was a full moon that night, we enjoyed a blissful time soaking while looking at the moon peeking through the trees. The Room was very spacious, with a Japanese-style room plus a separate bedroom with beds. It’s a layout where you can relax in comfort in the Japanese-style room and then sleep soundly in bed afterward—something guests of any age can enjoy. Above all else, every member of staff provided outstanding service. When we arrived at Kinugawa Onsen Station there were hardly any taxis available, and we were worried about whether we could reach the Hotel on foot along dark roads. You picked us up by car from the station, which helped us tremendously. You also drove us to the station again the next day—thank you so much. Thanks to you, we made our scheduled train on time. Your kindness in every respect truly moved us. There are many Ryokan out there and we have stayed at several before, but this is a Hotel where we were satisfied with everything: staff service, cuisine, baths, and Rooms. This time it was only one night because there were other places we wanted to visit as well; however, if we travel to the Nikko area again next time, we will definitely choose this Hotel. And since we had your wonderful food rather hurriedly this time due to our late arrival (laugh), next time I’d like to arrive on schedule and savor each dish more slowly. We sincerely appreciate all your kindness. Thank you very much. We look forward to staying with you again in the future.

Because we enjoyed our previous stay so much, we came back again. It was convenient to leave our luggage at the information center in front of Kintetsu Nara Station. The Room had an even better view than last time, and my mother was delighted. We were able to relax in a private dining room for both dinner and breakfast. The meals were delicious as well. Thank you very much.

This time, we added tempura. We ordered the chef’s choice, and everything was delicious. They fry it right in front of you, so it looks great, and being able to eat it fresh right away really lifted our spirits!! It had been very hot lately, but on the day we stayed it was a bit calmer. In the evening we took a leisurely stroll, and when the breeze came through the shade of the trees it felt cool and pleasant. We’d love to come back again as soon as possible.

Our family of three stayed here. The guest room with an open-air bath had an amazing view of the trees through the window. The meals were delicious, and we loved the post-bath ice pops, late-night inari sushi, morning coffee service, board games, and the excellent loan services such as a rotating hair dryer and a NanoCare hair dryer. It was relaxing and quiet, and we were able to unwind from everyday fatigue. The Onsen water was also wonderful. Highly recommended Accommodation.

I stayed in Room 103. The Room was very spacious, and the original traditional materials have been preserved, creating a wonderful, out-of-the-ordinary space where I could relax and unwind. The bath was also a hinoki cypress bath with a gentle cypress fragrance that was incredibly soothing. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, and the staff kindly explained the carefully selected Chichibu ingredients, which made the meal even more enjoyable. This is a Hotel I definitely want to stay at again!

Staying at Kisshotei with my family this time was a very comfortable and enjoyable experience. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was relaxing, the room was clean and cozy, and the staff were all very kind. The meals and hot spring experience were excellent. My family had a wonderful stay, and it left us with great memories from this trip. The only downside was that the Wi-Fi and mobile signal were somewhat unstable, which made it a little inconvenient to use. If this can be improved in the future, the stay would be even more perfect. Overall, I highly recommend it. If I visit Yamanaka Onsen again, I would love to stay at Kisshotei again!

Although the sky was unfortunately overcast, it was the perfect season to comfortably soak in the lukewarm natural spring water, and it felt wonderful! The meals are delicious and full of healthy options, and combined with the Onsen benefits, I feel better every time I stay. Perhaps because I kept coming back, my frozen shoulder has completely healed! The summer à la carte fried rock oysters were especially delicious—I’d love to have them again next year! This was my first Saturday stay, and I enjoyed listening to a jazz piano performance. It matched beautifully with the mysterious flicker of the bamboo lights in the garden and was incredibly soothing. There were familiar tunes and summer songs, and in the second half they even took requests, so there was a great variety of music and it was truly enjoyable. Ending with “Cradle Song” was also a stylish touch. I’m looking forward to visiting again in autumn.

This Accommodation offered excellent value for money. The paid open-air baths at the neighboring Yumotokan were wonderful—especially the one farthest from this Accommodation. You get a panoramic view of Lake Biwa. I recommend enjoying it both while it’s still light out and again for the night view. It was fun visiting different baths around the property. I had seen a Review saying there was no elevator, so choosing the second floor was the right call. I couldn’t help eating the ice cream in the lobby. The meals were delicious as well. I didn’t have time to use the recreation room, but it had manga, massage chairs, a table tennis table, and more—it looked like a lot of fun. When I first entered the Room, there was a slightly unusual smell, but once I turned on the Plasmacluster air purifier I stopped noticing it. The Room was clean, so maybe it was related to the plumbing? The staff were pleasant, it’s great value for money, and I highly recommend it.

As this is a historic, traditional Accommodation, there were a few aspects of the building that stood out, but the meals, Onsen, and location were excellent, and we were more than satisfied with our Multiple Night Stay. Many of the staff were from overseas, but everyone worked very hard and left a great impression. In particular, the gentleman who assisted us at the front desk spoke fluent Japanese and had a wonderful smile—good! We travel three to four times a year as a hobby, and this became a truly memorable trip. PS. After we left the Accommodation and started driving, you found something we had forgotten and kindly called my mobile phone—thank you so much for your help.

As always, the hospitality was outstanding. Rather than a scripted approach, each staff member’s personality shines through in their service, which leaves a lasting impression and makes the stay truly comfortable. I always hope to be the kind of guest the team is happy to welcome. This time we also used your affiliated golf course and a restaurant at The Busena Terrace, and it was very reassuring that information was shared seamlessly between them. It was the busy summer holiday season with many families, but since it was just the two of us as a couple, The Atta Terrace felt calm and especially relaxing. On our way home we talked about wanting to stay for about a week next time. We’ll do our best until we can return again.

It was a very pleasant Accommodation. It was close to the bus stop, the meals were delicious, and the sound of the river from our Room was soothing, so we were able to relax. They kindly provided Shuttle Service to Tenkawa Shrine twice (during the day and for the morning service), which was a great help for us since we didn’t have a car. Next time, we would like to visit in a different season for a Multiple Night Stay.

The delicious meals and everyone’s warm hospitality were truly soothing. In particular, thank you to the person in charge of our dinner for your thoughtful care in so many ways. This is a wonderful Accommodation, with a spacious public bath and an open-air bath where the greenery of the trees and mountains feels almost within reach. The garden open-air bath was at just the right temperature, and perhaps thanks to thorough insect control even in summer, we weren’t bothered by insects at all. Although it was fully booked, maybe our timing was good—the public bath was almost private, and we enjoyed it to the fullest. After returning home, my husband and I are quietly aiming to try every Room with a garden open-air bath. We would love to visit again, and we appreciate your continued kindness when we do. We stayed for one night and two days in May, when the fresh greenery was beautiful. All the staff—at the front desk, in the restaurant, and housekeeping—were very pleasant, and we had a comfortable stay. The Room was spacious, and the view from the window was outstanding. The Italian course meal was also delicious. After check-out, we enjoyed a trip to Chikubu Island from Nagahama Port right in front of the Accommodation. We plan to visit Shiga again and would definitely like to stay here again.

I thought it would be difficult to get there without a car, but there was a free Shuttle Service bus, so it was easy to reach by train as well. There was also a Shuttle Service to Sukayu Onsen, and I was very satisfied to be able to enjoy an Onsen with different water quality from the Hotel’s. The meals were all carefully prepared using local ingredients. The restaurant had a great atmosphere, and everything was delicious. All of the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately, due to heavy rain and wind on both days, we couldn’t use the Hakkoda Ropeway, but we were able to relax at the Hotel until it was time. We had a wonderfully relaxing summer vacation. I first learned about this Accommodation in a travel magazine and had wanted to visit for years. From the moment I made my Reservation, the staff reached out several times with thoughtful messages, which felt truly warm and welcoming. I’m grateful for their kind advice on transportation as well as nearby recommended spots and restaurants. Set on a vast property, the Accommodation offers wonderful views, and I was thrilled to encounter deer while strolling around. The Onsen had excellent water quality, the Facility was well maintained, and I was able to unwind and soothe my fatigue while enjoying the scenery. A local regular I spoke with in the bath said they stay here every month—I couldn’t help but envy them. It was an outstanding Accommodation where both mind and body could fully relax. I would love to visit again. Every staff member was gentle and attentive, and their hospitality made it possible for me to truly feel at ease throughout my stay—each day felt happy. This was my first stay at Fufu Karuizawa Shoyo no Mori. Last year, I stayed at Fufu Karuizawa Yoko no Kaze and was very satisfied, so this year I chose Shoyo no Mori. The property has a calm atmosphere, with a relaxing lobby lounge and courtyard. The Room was spacious, and the Onsen was wonderful. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. I would definitely like to stay again.

The ocean view from the Room was beautiful. After doing the evening exercises, it no longer hurt to turn over in bed, so I’d like to keep doing them. The Onsen was also very relaxing, and I was able to unwind. I’d love to visit again. Please consider allowing guests to bring dogs as well!

As it’s in an area close to Zao, this was my first stay at this Accommodation. To put it modestly, it’s one of the best Accommodations I’ve ever stayed at. It’s fairly large, so the interiors and lobby are well appointed, but above all it’s quiet and comfortable. The large public bath with an open-air section is excellent, and the teppanyaki cuisine was outstanding. There was nothing to complain about. The service struck just the right balance, everything was impeccably clean, and I truly enjoyed my stay.

Because our trip was canceled due to a typhoon, we quickly switched to a one-night stay here. The Room and the entire property were very clean and well maintained, so we had a comfortable stay. Morning walks and using the dog run were also enjoyable. Breakfast was bread only, but we would be even happier if rice were available as an option. We would love to stay again. Thank you very much.

This was my first stay, and the Hotel was wonderful. The food was delicious. Both the Room and the Onsen were great. All of the Hotel staff were very kind. After enjoying the Onsen, I tried an ice cream made by a local cake shop and sold at the souvenir shop—it was incredibly tasty. I’ll definitely be back again next year.
