Shuttle service to Animal Kingdom and the station was very convenient. The meals were delicious, and I was able to relax. I really appreciated being able to borrow a USB cable. The customer service was excellent.

I stayed at Tsuetate Onsen for the first time. Despite being in a region where space along the river is limited, the parking lot was conveniently located nearby. The staff's hospitality was excellent, making my stay very comfortable, and the meals were absolutely delicious. The accommodation's bath was spacious and impressive, but the highlight was "Kissho no Yu," an outdoor onsen with five open-air baths nestled in the forest—truly a relaxing experience. I would love to stay at this accommodation again!

I visited Matsue with my family and our dog (a Labrador Retriever) to see an old benefactor and some classmates. Matsue Castle was in full bloom with cherry blossoms, so we were able to visit at a wonderful time. As for Matsue Biyori, I’ll be honest—I wasn’t sure what to think when I first saw the exterior, but the inside has been renovated, and the kitchen and bathroom were very clean with no issues at all. With its great location, more space than we could possibly use, and flexible support for sudden changes in the number of guests, we were very satisfied. We didn’t use it ourselves, but there is also a washing machine, which would be very useful for a Multiple Night Stay. The reason I gave “Facility & Amenities” 4 points is that the parking location was hard to understand (especially the one farthest back in the straight row). I think it would help if a simple layout map or photo were posted somewhere on the website (and if it’s already there and I missed it, my apologies). For us, being able to stay together with our dog is more valuable than anything else, so we had a truly wonderful time.

We stayed for two nights in a twin Room. On the first day, we made a Reservation for the private open-air bath and sauna, and it was wonderful. Kusatsu is known for having many very hot baths, but this one was at just the right temperature and felt great! Even without a Reservation, we were able to use the indoor bath privately whenever it was available. The Room was divided into a Japanese-style room with a TV and low table, and a Western-style room with beds. The washbasin featured beautiful pottery, which was lovely. The owner was friendly and kind—at check-in they marked plenty of restaurant recommendations on a map for us, and when we returned they asked if we had been cold while sightseeing. There was also a flashlight in the Room, which really helped for an evening walk. We would definitely like to stay here again when we visit Kusatsu!

We stayed in the Pine Building to spend some relaxing time as a family. The manager was very friendly and kindly explained everything, so we were able to enjoy a comfortable stay. We had planned a barbecue in the very spacious garden, but unfortunately it rained. We were told that rain-cover Facilities will be added soon, and this time they provided us with a parasol, which allowed us to enjoy it. The open-air bath exclusively for the Pine Building was spacious enough, and since it is fed directly from the hot spring source and runs slightly hot, we were able to adjust the temperature using the provided yumomi paddle and even try yumomi ourselves. We also enjoyed an evening stroll of about 10 minutes on foot to Yubatake and experienced Kusatsu at night. The surroundings were very quiet at night, allowing us to relax. As this is a relatively new Accommodation, everything felt very pleasant. We would love to stay again.

While the facilities are a bit dated, they are kept very clean, and the amenities (including branded items), meals, and various services (donuts, oden, free drinks, manga, sauna, and massage chairs) were excellent, making for a very comfortable stay. The staff were also kind and made the visit pleasant. The only downside was that the Onsen felt a little hot for me.

Thank you for waiting for us even though we arrived late at night due to train delays. We made a Reservation with a breakfast-included Plan, and the portion size was just right for adults with a small appetite. While the building has a charming atmosphere, it was also a calm and clean Accommodation. In particular, the ceramics displayed throughout were all impressive, and we enjoyed taking our time to admire them. (They looked quite expensive, so families with energetic children may feel a bit nervous.) We would definitely like to stay again on our next trip to Beppu. Thank you very much.

I stayed here this time because I wanted to relax in the Onsen. The large public bath fed by the Shirahata source was especially wonderful. The private bath with Yubatake water was hot, but I could take my time and unwind at my own pace, enjoying it while opening the window to cool off. I had seen in other Reviews that dinner is plentiful, so I held back from trying street food while exploring the area. As rumored, I was very satisfied with both the portion size and the taste. While I was dining, they prepared my futon and also thoughtfully replaced items like teacups and provided iced water—coming back from the Onsen to a refreshing drink of water was truly delightful. Stylish Accommodations such as Resort Hotels are popular these days, but this stay reminded me that a Japanese Ryokan feels most relaxing for Japanese guests. Thank you for a wonderful memory.

We stayed for one night and two days. The room was compact but very clean, with well-equipped amenities. The bedding was crisp, and the yukata provided in the room was made of sturdy fabric, allowing us to wear it outside comfortably. Each person received two sets of bath towels, along with a bathrobe and pajamas, so we had everything we needed. Since our room included a private open-air onsen, we could enjoy a relaxing soak anytime we wanted. As this accommodation is exclusively for no meals included stays, we were initially concerned about meals; however, its convenient location allowed us to dine out without reservations both in the morning and evening. Even during Obon season, staying here cost only 30,000 yen per person per night—affordable and made for an enjoyable trip!

It was a truly wonderful Hotel. We are deeply grateful for the thoughtful care shown by the staff. Thank you for accommodating our difficult Shuttle Service request, for allowing us to enter the room even though we arrived early, and for serving both dinner and breakfast in a private room, which allowed us to enjoy a calm meal. As it was an inexpensive Plan, we feel very appreciative. We would love to visit again.

I made a Reservation for a meal course that included a boat-style sashimi platter. When I mentioned at check-in that I planned to try every bath, the front desk staff advised me not to overdo it because I might feel unwell from soaking too much. They were right—I’m glad I didn’t try them all. There were that many baths. For this price, the combination of the meal and the baths was excellent.

I had a wonderful time at this Accommodation where I could relax and fully enjoy both the Kinsen and Ginsen Onsen. Is the owner a woman who loves Onsen? It wasn’t excessive, but everything I wanted was thoughtfully provided, making my stay very comfortable. I also appreciated the complimentary free-drink service. The large public bath allows up to seven women, but since there are four private baths as well, it never felt crowded. If I may make a small request, it would be great to have tissue paper available in the private baths too, and having both M and L sizes of loungewear in the Room would be helpful so guests can choose what fits best. I would love to stay here again when I visit Arima Onsen. Thank you very much.

This Accommodation has only five Rooms, yet it has two private baths, and you can use them anytime if they are available. I used them four times. The hot water was excellent. It’s a 4-minute walk to Yubatake, but there are many slopes, so it was great to relax in the Accommodation’s private baths. There is also a convenience store nearby. The breakfast was generous and delicious! All the staff were very kind.

We stayed for two nights on a family trip. The owner was very kind and attentive, and our whole family was truly happy with the fireworks and Onsen egg service! It turned into a very satisfying 2-night, 3-day trip! Thank you very much. This is an Accommodation we definitely want to use again!!!!

The room was neither too spacious nor too small, just the right size for two adults. The room was also clean (though I noticed a long hair on the robe, which concerned me slightly). The bath was an open-air one, and while there were houses a bit further away that made me wonder if they could see in, there were adjustable automatic shutters. When fully lowered, they completely blocked the view from outside and kept out the cold air. Despite snow remaining from the previous day, we could enjoy a warm soak without feeling chilly. The temperature of the bath was just right for relaxing. Concerns: We chose a plan with in-room dining for our meals. However, after grilling meat during dinner, its smell lingered throughout the room until bedtime. While it might have been our oversight as well, future guests opting for this plan might want to keep their bedroom doors closed during meals to avoid this issue. It would be considerate if staff could mention this when serving meals or perhaps provide additional amenities like room sprays alongside air purifiers to enhance comfort further. That said, the meat was tender and delicious; other dishes were also very tasty with portions that felt just right. With free beer dispensers, ice cream machines, drinks in the fridge available at no extra cost, and even foot baths provided—this is overall a wonderful accommodation! Next time I’d love to visit again with my mother. Thank you for your hospitality!

We were able to spend a relaxing Obon holiday as a family of three. The meals were very delicious, and we also enjoyed taking our time with coffee at The Perch. Since our daughter started working in Osaka, our family has taken a small luxury trip every summer for 2 nights and 3 days somewhere near Osaka. This was our third visit to Arima Onsen, and we were able to truly unwind. The food was especially wonderful, and we look forward to it every time—my husband even said this was the best meal he can remember having here. The Accommodation itself is a charming building that conveys a sense of history, which we really appreciated. We also liked that the bathing area had separate spaces for the bath and the washing area. However, the shower pressure was weak, so we think it would be even better if that could be improved. (Personally, I was disappointed that the open-air bath in our Room was not Onsen water and that the shower water pressure in the Room was weak.) Overall, it was a very memorable stay. Thank you very much for taking care of us for three days.

This was our first stay here. My husband enjoys searching for Accommodations when we travel, and we found this place through a Review site. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with a welcome drink. After that, we enjoyed Japanese-style relaxation in the free private bath, then went from one bath to another—the historic marble bath and the panoramic-view bath. Once we were refreshed, we savored dishes made with plenty of local ingredients, and the pudding dessert was unbelievably delicious. After dinner, there was complimentary service in the first-floor lounge: homemade alcoholic drinks and juices, small desserts, and snacks. You can relax at your own pace while listening to music. Breakfast was just as lavish—freshly cooked Hitomebore rice that was glossy and wonderfully chewy with tasty side dishes. On top of that, the ochazuke made with the Accommodation’s signature dashi is outstanding, so getting a second helping of rice is a must. On departure, they even gave us freshly baked croissants as a gift—truly attentive in every way. We are grateful for the staff’s warm hospitality. This is an Accommodation we would definitely love to visit again.

I only met the staff at check-in; after that, I didn’t really see anyone, and check-out is simple—just drop the key in the box. The Room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. However, be careful with the bath water—it’s extremely hot (maybe around 50°C). It takes time to cool it down with the shower, so it’s not ideal if multiple people need to use the bath one after another.
