Tsumikusa no Yado Komatsu is an Onsen Property with only 6 Rooms, nestled in the embrace of the Kirishima mountain range. At this Property, we cherish the charm of traditional houses and aim to provide our guests with a satisfying and heartfelt holiday in a familial atmosphere.

Less than a two-hour flight from Tokyo, "Wasure no Sato Gajoen" is a beautiful Property that perfectly blends into the lush, deep greenery of Kirishima's nature, offering an exceptional escape despite its outstanding accessibility. Situated along the Amori River, the Property features only eight standalone Rooms, each housed in relocated traditional thatched-roof houses. Every Room is equipped with a private Onsen bath, fed 100% by natural hot spring sources. The dishes, delicately prepared with vegetables grown in the Property's own garden, deliver flavors unique to the region and nourish deeply. The thatched roofs, irori hearths, and the river flowing beside the Property evoke a sense of peace, reminiscent of Japan's traditional rural landscapes. "Wasure no Sato Gajoen" is a place where you can forget the distractions of daily life while rediscovering the truly important things that should never be forgotten.

The Property, "7c villa & winery," operated by us, offers a new way to enjoy carefully crafted wines made with craftsmanship while spending a relaxing time. This is the first winery of its kind in Kawaguchiko, created by a winemaker who fully expresses the individuality of grapes and 12 farmers under the name "7c | seven cedars winery." Located adjacent to the winery grounds, this concept villa allows you to enjoy pairings of original wines brewed on-site with locally sourced ingredients, all while overlooking the expansive vineyards right in front of you.

All rooms are separate cottages, each equipped with a natural Onsen. At the dining area relocated from the World Heritage site Shirakawa-go, enjoy charcoal-grilled Oita Wagyu beef of grade 4 or higher and local chicken. From the gender-separated open-air baths, you can view the majestic Mount Yufu. Daigo Town, located at the northernmost tip of Ibaraki Prefecture, is home to famous tourist attractions such as "Mt. Yamizo," the highest peak in the prefecture, and "Fukuroda Falls," one of Japan's three great waterfalls. It takes approximately 10 minutes by car to Fukuroda Falls and about 1 hour by car to the observation deck of Mt. Yamizo. Our recommended dining option is a luxurious Plan where you can enjoy both "Hitachi Beef" and local chicken "Okukuji Shamo." For accommodations, we offer a variety of room types to suit your needs: twin Western-style rooms with beds, Japanese-style rooms with 6-tatami and 8-tatami adjoining spaces, and Japanese-Western style rooms with twin beds and a Japanese-style area. In November 2023, we installed a barrel sauna, which is available for private use in time slots. Umegashima Onsen, known as one of the secret Onsens favored by the famous Takeda Shingen, offers its pure source water without any heating for your ultimate relaxation. Our specialty, the Umegashima-bred Suruga game fowl hot pot, is made with a broth simmered for about half a day using chicken bones, creating an exquisite flavor.
