I am writing only about the service. At check-in, there were two staff members at the front desk and one was available. I gave my name and said I was checking in, but a male staff member told me to “wait on that sofa, as we are guiding guests in order,” so I waited. It did look busy, but even after no one was at the front desk, no one came to assist me. When I asked a passing staff member whether it was still okay to keep waiting as instructed, a female staff member apologized sincerely and guided me right away. Her manner was very polite, which made me wonder why I had been told to wait in the first place. After entering the Room, when I tried to have tea, the teacup was slightly dirty (which could be washed), but when I emptied the teapot there was leftover tea still inside. When I called about it, the same female staff member came immediately and apologized profusely. She seemed so apologetic that it almost made me feel bad for her—so I couldn’t help thinking this should have been taken care of beforehand. The female staff member who served us at dinner and breakfast was perfect. In particular at breakfast she even showed us around the VIP room we were interested in, which truly impressed us. However, at checkout: I was told that in addition to drinks from dinner there would also be charges for souvenirs. Since we had not purchased any souvenirs, I asked to see an itemized statement. They said they had apparently added another guest’s charges by mistake; after removing those items they processed payment by card. In general, an itemized statement should be shown and confirmed before payment is taken—it is not normal for this to be handled only verbally. Especially since this became a minor dispute where I had to request proof of details first, it should have been presented immediately. Moreover, after payment they handed me only the card slip. Only after I requested it did they give me something like an itemized Receipt as well; normally customers should receive not only the card slip but also an itemized statement—especially when there has been a billing error like this. Because they handled all of this so casually, it felt pointless to continue arguing and I gave up requesting issuance of a Receipt. I am reporting this because there were both excellent aspects of service and aspects that were more than simply disappointing mixed together. I hope improvements will be made.

When sightseeing in Yamagata, we stay at Symphony. Once again, the food was outstanding. The dishes are very thoughtfully crafted—the way the ingredients are brought out and seasoned is impressive. The combinations of items in the dinner course were also excellent. Each time, we can enjoy different dishes, and it feels like they are always evolving. We were also happy to have a wide variety of vegetables at breakfast.

An unbelievably low price of 6,000 yen during the Obon holiday period. At this price, you can swallow a few complaints. Best for people who just want something cheap and don’t care about the details. Not suitable for couples or families. - After arriving at the Hotel, we were told we couldn’t use the large public bath. A nearby Onsen was already closed, so we used the Room’s unit bath. Hot water did come out properly. - The Room is old and feels a bit scary. - Breakfast is basically a free add-on: only a little bread, rice, and a small amount of side dishes. The miso soup tasted like it hadn’t been checked. - The staff were pleasant; I just wished the owner would improve things a bit more. It was fine because I stayed with friends. If it had been with family or a partner, the mood would have dropped…

The Facility is old, but it is conveniently located in front of the station, has a late curfew of 24:00, and was available at an affordable price. This was my second stay, and I would like to stay again next time.

We stayed for two nights and three days from Friday to Sunday to enjoy the Oigawa Railway. My friend said it was fun, and the staff were very helpful.

I stayed here to reunite with a friend in Ube after a long time. The building may not be very new, but the front desk and dining staff were very kind. This time I traveled by train from Hiroshima Prefecture, so my friend handled the driving. Many Business Hotels don’t allow alcohol at breakfast these days, but this Hotel did, which made for a pleasant start to the day. I’d like to stay here again next time.

It was the cheapest option around Shin-Yamaguchi (free parking). The building and Room are a bit dated, and since it’s a business Ryokan it feels slightly darker than major chains, but it was properly cleaned and very comfortable. The bed has an old-style spring mattress and is firm. Only towels were provided in the Room; I picked up a toothbrush and other amenities next to the front desk. The bathroom is a compact unit bath and quite small, but that’s part of the charm—no issues using it. It’s located at the entrance to an area with lots of bars, so you won’t have trouble finding food or drinks. A convenience store is a 1-minute walk away. There’s also a supermarket nearby. They also offer loaner umbrellas, so you’re covered even on rainy days. Overall, I was very satisfied. If I stay around Shin-Yamaguchi again, I’d like to stay here again.

The location is very convenient, with plenty of nearby paid parking lots. The front desk staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive. The Room was a twin Room with only one bed, so it felt very spacious and comfortable. This is a Hotel I would like to stay at again if I have the opportunity.

To catch the first Yonkushi Ferry, I checked in after work and had only a short time before needing to leave the Hotel by 5:30. The staff were very helpful, guiding me on where to park, explaining the Onsen bathing hours, and even providing a bandage when I injured myself at work. I have stayed here before, but last time I checked in after midnight and couldn’t use the Onsen. This time I was able to bathe just in time and it really helped me recover from my fatigue. Thank you very much.

If you head toward the windmill landmark, you’ll find the Hotel right below it, so it’s easy to locate. From the Room, with Kouri Island in a diagonal view, the sea is just a few meters away. Dinner was decent. Breakfast was Japanese-style and delicious, featuring grilled salmon as the main dish. Western guests also stay here, and I think this Accommodation has a pretty good reputation.

A small Accommodation—very affordable. It was the only Reservation I made before setting off on a long trip. The Room was clean and more than sufficient for a solo traveler, and the Onsen was wonderful. I finally made it to Ibusuki, and the next day I was also able to reach the summit of Mt. Kaimon, which I’d been hoping to do for a long time. I’ll stay again.

The Facility is a bit old, but there were no issues. Breakfast was very delicious—I ended up eating too much. I would definitely recommend it to anyone staying here. I was a little surprised that all the front desk staff were foreigners, but they assisted me politely and there were no problems at all. The cleaning staff were also foreigners, and they greeted me with a smile, which made for a pleasant departure. One minor drawback is that the air conditioning is hard to adjust. I tend to get hot easily, but even on the lowest setting it was cold, so I ended up turning it off. (Maybe it was set stronger because there had been Reviews saying the Room was hot?) Overall, I was satisfied and would like to stay here again when I come to Shin-Yokohama.

Used for a business trip. No issues during my stay. Planning a Multiple Night Stay starting next week.

I stayed here with the No Meals Included plan after attending Tsuyoshi Nagabuchi’s “Just One” concert. I considered taking the last Shinkansen home because I wanted to stay until the final encore, but luckily I was able to book a No Meals Included stay. It was very comfortable—thank you!

The building itself is old, but it’s well cleaned and feels pleasant. There are several private baths available for an additional fee, and relaxing in the hot water is truly soothing. Above all, the meals are outstanding—if you enjoy Japanese cuisine, we highly recommend choosing a Plan with meals included. The staff were all kind and welcoming with warm smiles, making this a wonderful Hotel full of heartfelt hospitality.

We would be happy to stay here again next time.

Thank you very much for your hospitality. The meals were excellent and far better than I expected for the Accommodation Fee. The Onsen was also outstanding, with free-flowing natural hot spring water, so I highly recommend this place to anyone considering staying nearby. I made my Reservation from Shizuoka Prefecture through Yahoo Travel, and I highly recommend Yahoo Travel as well. I will continue using Yahoo services.

We stayed here for our child’s tournament. They kindly stored our luggage, which was a big help! We were welcomed by a thousand paper cranes, a letter, and little rubber ducks in the bath. We’d love to stay again if we have the chance.

Whenever we have an overnight drinking party in Kariya City, we always stay here. The welcome drink is Asahi Super Dry! You can enjoy eel for breakfast! The staff are very friendly and helpful! These are the reasons we keep coming back. We look forward to staying with you again.

This was my first time staying at the accommodation. With Christmas approaching, a luxurious tree was displayed at the entrance, which lifted my spirits. I brought a cake to celebrate a birthday, and the front desk kindly kept it for me during check-in. Later in the evening, they delivered it to our room at our preferred timing. Plates, cutlery, a lighter for candles, and even a full bottle of sparkling wine from the hotel were perfectly chilled in an ice bucket—everything was impeccably prepared! I was deeply moved by this level of perfection. When I asked if I could keep using the plates and cutlery for breakfast the next morning, they provided new ones instead—such thoughtful service left me even more impressed. Even late at night, staff members delivered everything with warm smiles; I am truly grateful to them. Although an upgrade wasn’t possible due to weekend crowds, they kindly changed our room to one with a view of Tokyo Tower. The courteous service from all front desk staff gave me peace of mind—truly what you’d expect from The Westin Hotel! It’s definitely an accommodation that makes you want to return again. My friend celebrating their birthday was also delighted—it turned out to be an unforgettable experience! Thank you very much!
