My family and I stayed here to attend a performance at a nearby hall. It’s a little far from Niigata Station, but since we were driving it wasn’t an issue, and the affiliated parking lot was right next door, which was very convenient. The staff frequently checked in with us, and they were kind and helpful with our questions, which made us feel at ease. I especially recommend the breakfast, which offers a great selection of local specialties made with regional ingredients. We could try small portions of many different dishes, and everything was delicious—we were very satisfied. On the day of our stay, we received an upgrade to a more spacious Room, which made it even more relaxing. Thank you very much. This time we stayed for one night for a specific purpose, but there are still many places we’d like to visit and plenty of great food to try, so we hope to return for a longer stay next time.

I have stayed at many Hotels and Ryokan with ocean views, but this was one of the most memorable. The views from the Room and the open-air bath were outstanding—thanks to the Hotel’s hilltop location with nothing obstructing the scenery, as well as the serene beauty of the Seto Inland Sea itself. There are very few man-made structures nearby, and the landscape created by the scattered islands is truly stunning. In the distance, we could see bridges of the Shimanami Kaido and parts of Imabari’s townscape, while boats passing below from time to time added a lovely touch to the view. I felt this Hotel is well worth staying at even just to relax and take in this scenery. Because it was listed as “Casual” on IKYU, I initially imagined a standard Hotel that simply highlights its views. In reality, however, we experienced warm, unpretentious hospitality from all staff members. Dinner was not a typical set menu; it showed thoughtful creativity throughout and was delicious. Breakfast was buffet-style, and in particular, I still remember how wonderful the locally harvested blueberries were. This time we rented a car at Hiroshima Station: on our first night we stayed at a Ryokan on Etajima; on day two we toured Takehara before taking a ferry over and enjoying beautiful Setouchi island views from Mount Kamimine prior to check-in. The next day we visited Okunoshima to spend time with its rabbits, then headed home via Mihara to Hiroshima Airport. The Hotel was also extremely convenient as a base for sightseeing routes starting from Hiroshima City toward Kure, Takehara, and Mihara—and we were fully satisfied with every aspect: scenery, dining, and hospitality.

We stayed in a Japanese-modern Room with an open-air bath. The Room had a calming design, and the open-air bath was truly the best. Hearing the sound of the river flowing was so relaxing, it was a bath we wanted to enjoy again and again. The irori cuisine felt quite filling for our elderly parents, but it was very delicious, and we enjoyed it with excitement. And Kiyoshi Yamashita’s mural is breathtaking. You’ll be deeply moved by its warmth, which instantly conveys how much he loved this place. Even after checkout, all the staff saw us off with smiles and waves, making our stay warm and welcoming until the very end. We would definitely like to stay again.

I stayed here for sightseeing. The Room was clean and very nice. There were two small sofas by the window, and their vivid yellow color was stylish and really enhanced the feel of the Room. The Room itself was spacious, and since it was on a high floor, the view was open and I could relax during my stay. Breakfast also featured many local items and was delicious. I would like to stay again.

The expansive Roku in Takagamine, Kitayama, Kyoto is wonderfully quiet. In the summer of 2026, we decided to stay for three nights with my son’s family. My granddaughter loves the pool. What I was curious about was dinner. Since this spring, the chef and menu have changed. We left it to the chef, and truly enjoyed the rich flavors that come from thickness and texture—scallops, duck, sirloin, striped jack, pork confit, and more. The Kyoto vegetable sides were simple yet bold. We ordered signature cocktails. I chose “La Vie en Rose” just by its name—wondering what it would be like—and it surprised me in the best way. The other three of us each picked different ones as well, and we had a great time enjoying their vibrant colors and flavors. It will probably become one of our most unforgettable dinner memories of 2026. In the thermal pool, my grandchild happened to make a friend, and their dads joined in too—playing along like turtles giving rides to two kids with lots of enthusiasm. As for me, I exercised with backstroke while looking up at the sky and did some water walking. By the way, did you know that from the bath in your Room you can enjoy both the TV and views of Takagamine’s trees at the same time? The TV in the photo was showing a Major League Baseball game.

My first time in Beppu Onsen. Everyone provided courteous service, and I was completely satisfied with all the Onsen facilities. If I had to mention one thing, as an older man I couldn’t figure out how to use the hair dryer. All the meals were delicious, but I would have been happy if there were a few more Kyushu-style dishes. If I have a chance to visit Beppu again, I’d like to stay here again. Thank you very much.

I stayed here last year to celebrate my birthday, and loved it so much that I returned again this year for my birthday celebration. This time, I truly appreciate your even more thoughtful hospitality. Thanks to you, I was able to relax wholeheartedly in the Room. This year’s concept was to take things slow at a Hotel. First, I enjoyed a Multiple Night Stay at a wonderful Hotel in Umekoji. Then I came here. The atmosphere is different, yet even better. It feels very calm and serene. I think it’s because you make the most of the location by the Kamo River and help guests experience Kyoto in such a comfortable way. Even though it’s right in the bustle of Shijo-Kawaramachi, this is a space where you don’t feel any of that at all—remarkable. Your affiliated HIYORI Ocean Resort Okinawa is also one of my favorites—a wonderful Hotel that lets you truly feel the beauty of Onna Village. And now SORANIWA Terrace Kyoto has won me over too! At this rate, I’ll probably be back again for my birthday next year.

This time, on my first visit to Beppu during Golden Week, I stayed in a non-smoking twin Room under the Standard Plan. The hotel is conveniently located near Beppu Station, with easy access. I arrived early due to my flight schedule, and it was a great place to leave my luggage and go sightseeing. On top of that, our Room was upgraded to a family Room! The two of us enjoyed the luxury of using a four-person Room. Both the property and the Room were kept very clean, and we were able to relax after sightseeing and drinks. The next morning the weather was bad so we couldn’t see the sunrise, but we fully enjoyed the bath and even the after-bath services. I’d definitely like to stay here again on my next trip back to Oita.

Even though I don’t swim in the sea, I travel solo year-round in search of gourmet Accommodations near the coast (for the food and scenery). I was delighted to be upgraded to a sea-view Room. It was a Japanese-style Room, but it also had a leather sofa and ottoman, so I could stretch out and relax while gazing at the ocean. When I woke up around 5:00, I was able to watch a beautiful sunrise from the Room. There is a calm inner-sea beach right in front of the Accommodation, and there are showers as well—great for families with small children. The meals were outstanding, featuring an abundance of local specialties. My main goal was Wakasa-guji (tilefish), but it was even more delicious than I imagined—the Wakasa-guji ochazuke was exceptional. And the Matsunaga rice was unbelievably good (probably the best I’ve ever had). I didn’t use the public bath and used the shower in my Room instead, but I loved that the shampoo and conditioner were Hokurokusousui—one of my favorite brands—and it helped me relax. Recently there have been more Accommodations renovated from wooden buildings, but some noise—voices and footsteps—is unavoidable. You can often hear children as well. It’s not exactly quiet. However, more than making up for that, I felt each staff member’s hospitality and way of interacting with guests was wonderful. In particular: the woman with glasses who assisted me at check-in; the woman at breakfast (I’m sorry—I forgot your name); and one of the male staff members who kindly gave me helpful advice for sightseeing in Obama after check-out. Thanks to them, it became more than just an overnight stay—I had a chance to learn even more about Obama, making this trip extremely satisfying. I heard that midwinter is especially good for grouper, pufferfish, and Echizen crab. As transportation access improves from here on out, this will be an Accommodation you’ll want to visit even more. Next time it would be perfect if I could borrow a firmer pillow!! Please make that happen on my next visit!! (I can’t sleep if a pillow doesn’t suit me.) We stayed the night before a memorial service in Kamakura. The Hotel is conveniently located near the station, and we also enjoyed exploring around Ofuna Station. The Hotel was clean, the staff greeted us warmly, and they kindly assisted us with the check-in and check-out machines. The amenity bar offered a wide variety of bath salts, which was fun to choose from, and there were many thoughtful touches throughout. Breakfast was delicious as well. We were just talking as a family about staying at Mets again the next time we come for a memorial service.

My daughter and I stayed here together. We had a luggage issue before arriving at the Hotel and ended up arriving an hour late for dinner, but you kindly accommodated us, for which we are truly grateful. For the meal, although it was already past the time when it would normally have been served as a boxed meal, you were considerate enough to serve us as planned, and I was nearly moved to tears. Every dish was not only beautifully presented but also thoughtfully prepared with seasonal ingredients and flavors that guests of any age can enjoy. The seasoning and portions were just right, and everything was truly delicious. We chose the plan with breakfast included, and it was very lavish—yet never heavy—and before we knew it, we had finished everything. The rice was especially delicious; my daughter and I even said afterward that we should have asked for seconds. The Onsen bath was very clean, and it felt so wonderful that we forgot all about the day’s troubles. We also used the open-air bath; since it was a full moon that night, we enjoyed a blissful time soaking while looking at the moon peeking through the trees. The Room was very spacious, with a Japanese-style room plus a separate bedroom with beds. It’s a layout where you can relax in comfort in the Japanese-style room and then sleep soundly in bed afterward—something guests of any age can enjoy. Above all else, every member of staff provided outstanding service. When we arrived at Kinugawa Onsen Station there were hardly any taxis available, and we were worried about whether we could reach the Hotel on foot along dark roads. You picked us up by car from the station, which helped us tremendously. You also drove us to the station again the next day—thank you so much. Thanks to you, we made our scheduled train on time. Your kindness in every respect truly moved us. There are many Ryokan out there and we have stayed at several before, but this is a Hotel where we were satisfied with everything: staff service, cuisine, baths, and Rooms. This time it was only one night because there were other places we wanted to visit as well; however, if we travel to the Nikko area again next time, we will definitely choose this Hotel. And since we had your wonderful food rather hurriedly this time due to our late arrival (laugh), next time I’d like to arrive on schedule and savor each dish more slowly. We sincerely appreciate all your kindness. Thank you very much. We look forward to staying with you again in the future.

The building itself is old, but the Room has been renovated and is very clean. The cleaning was thorough, and the bathroom and toilet are separate, making it a good choice for those who dislike unit baths. Although it was a smoking Room with no non-smoking option, the guest Room did not smell of smoke as much as expected. However, the hallway had a strong smell of tobacco, which might be difficult for those sensitive to it. There is a large public bath, sauna, and stone sauna available, which would be especially appreciated during colder seasons. The parking lot is spacious enough, and there’s a convenience store and gas station nearby for added convenience. If I visit Niigata again, I would love to stay here. Thank you!

Thank you very much. I couldn’t book a Hotel in central Kyoto at the last minute, so I stayed at this Hotel in Kameoka that I had been interested in. Everyone’s hospitality was outstanding. During my Multiple Night Stay, I put up the card indicating that cleaning was not needed, but when I happened to meet the staff while they were cleaning other Rooms and hanging fresh towels on the doorknobs, they kindly and politely asked, “Would you like us to replenish drinks? Is there anything you’re missing?” I was truly happy—this is the first time I’ve stayed at a Hotel with such excellent staff service. The hot stone sauna and spa were very relaxing. Breakfast was simple with just the right selection, and I was impressed that the menu changed during my Multiple Night Stay. One note: since there is no elevator to access the hot stone sauna and spa, it may be a bit difficult for guests with disabilities.

Although we only stayed for just under six hours on a day trip this time, it was a soothing space where we could relax and feel refreshed after a long time. The full-course kaiseki dinner was beautifully presented with a seasonal touch and was absolutely delicious. Next time, we would definitely like to return for an overnight stay.

This Hotel is conveniently located near Shin-Yokohama. I think it’s a very good Hotel. The shampoo and other amenities are high quality, and I have no complaints. If I had to mention any drawbacks, the shower temperature can be a bit tricky to adjust, and the TV is slightly small. Even then, those are only minor inconveniences if you really look for them. It’s an excellent Hotel for the price, so I will definitely stay here again.

The property was quiet, and I was able to relax very comfortably. The Onsen was also a milky white sulfur spring, and it felt like it would be good for the body. It was a Hotel that made me want to visit again.

The staff’s wonderful smiles, their kind and attentive service to my mother who travels with me, delicious cuisine that delights all five senses, and an Onsen you can enjoy as much as you like whenever you like—everything about this Accommodation is consistently excellent, so we keep coming back. The Rooms are clean and comfortable with a strong sense of privacy, and each Room has a completely different atmosphere, which makes it fun to try them all. We would love to visit again in a different season.

The Room was a beautifully renovated guest room with an open-air bath, and I was happy to be able to relax and enjoy the Onsen in the Room as well. The staff were very courteous, and we had a comfortable stay. Dinner was delicious, featuring mainly seafood. We also really enjoyed watching the explanation and live demonstration of Oga Peninsula’s specialty stone-grilled dish. Breakfast was a buffet, and everything was tasty—we were completely full. It was a bit of a long trip, but we made wonderful memories. Thank you very much.

We chose this Accommodation because it had high ratings for its meals and service in Reviews. We were a little worried whether our growing children would be satisfied, but in the end we were extremely happy. The elaborate appetizers won over our whole family, and we were impressed by the careful craftsmanship that didn’t simply rely on the quality of the ingredients. We could feel the attentive care of the proprietress and all the staff throughout our stay, which made it very comfortable. It doesn’t have the kind of Facilities you’d find at a large Hotel, but when we visit Tottori again, I’m sure we’ll stay here again.
