We stayed for two nights in mid-October with three generations of our family and our beloved dog, and we had a very comfortable stay in the spacious room. The cleanliness was exceptional, making it hard to believe it was a pet-friendly accommodation. The large living room and kitchen allowed us to enjoy cooking together as a family. The kitchen was well-equipped with plenty of cookware and tableware, so we had everything we needed. (We bought ingredients for dinner at a nearby supermarket.) The separate toilet and bathroom made it convenient for everyone to use without any hassle. It was also helpful that basic dog supplies like a cage and pet sheets were provided. Although pets were not allowed in the bedrooms, our dog relaxed comfortably in the living area. The location right in front of the slopes (Happo-One Ski Resort) was perfect for walking our dog, especially during early morning strolls which were incredibly refreshing. It was also easy to drive to Kurobishi-daira, where we enjoyed stunning autumn foliage—this year seemed to be an excellent year for fall colors! We would love to visit again during summer when the greenery is lush. Traveling with three generations of family members—and especially with a pet—can make choosing accommodations challenging, but this place exceeded all expectations. It's highly recommended for families traveling with small children (grandchildren), as you can relax comfortably in your room while enjoying quality time together!

Thank you very much for your hospitality. The three of us—my 92-year-old mother, my husband, and I—found and chose this Accommodation online, and everything was excellent. We were able to relax in the renovated Japanese-style Room and bedroom. Although it is an Accommodation where you can stay with your dog, it felt very clean, and it seemed that every corner was thoroughly cleaned. The meals were also very delicious, and the boat platter was more than we could finish. It was disappointing that we couldn’t go cruising due to the typhoon, but since it was before summer vacation there were no crowds, we could get around smoothly, and we fully enjoyed a wonderful trip to Izu. Thank you again. We would love to stay here again.

Aoki Ryokan is a charming blend of Western and Japanese styles, with its blue roof and distinctive design—an Accommodation that gave me a great feeling even before I stepped inside. Fresh flowers were casually arranged throughout, the floors were spotless, and everything was impeccably clean. Perhaps because it is an old Ryokan, the atmosphere felt wonderfully balanced and calm. I usually suffer from insomnia when staying away from home, but here I felt completely at ease and slept very deeply—something that surprised even me. I also enjoyed listening to the proprietress’s stories (including one about Kunio Inatani, a pioneer of skiing in Japan) and savoring meals filled with mountain vegetables. It was truly relaxing both physically and mentally. As this is a historic Ryokan, old tools once used are also displayed; I was especially struck by the large saw used to cut ice from Lake Onuma, which made me imagine how demanding that work must have been at the time. You can walk to Kirishima Shrine, and Takachiho Farm is just a short drive away. The Onsen was almost too hot, but I was able to cool it down with water before getting in. The bath was bright and open, which felt wonderful. Since my plans were not set, I chose breakfast only, and I really appreciated having a delicious, nutritious meal in the morning. The price was very reasonable, and I could relax in a spacious Room.

We stayed here last March. This time, we visited during summer vacation so our dogs (Welsh Corgis, ages 5 and 3) could try the pool, and they had a great time playing. As with our previous stay, we were very satisfied with the meals. It takes about six hours to get here from Takarazuka City, Hyogo Prefecture, but we would love to stay again.

I travel somewhere every month, and this was an accommodation I would love to stay at again. Thanks to this place, I had a wonderful trip, and I would like to express my gratitude here. Highlights: - Convenient location for sightseeing in Beppu Onsen using only public transportation. - They kindly stored my luggage before check-in. - The room was spacious, comfortable, and very quiet. The amenities in the room were practical and well-thought-out without any unnecessary items. Attention to detail was evident—non-slip tabi socks were a nice touch! - The bedding felt great on the skin; the comforter was light yet warm, allowing me to sleep soundly. Points that might feel inconvenient for some: The private open-air bath attached to the room has high-temperature spring water, so you need to add cold water yourself. It took about 3 minutes to adjust it to a comfortable temperature, so I recommend checking the bath temperature before taking a shower. Personally, I enjoyed being able to set it just right for myself and had a relaxing soak. No negative points come to mind. Two regrets: I couldn’t eat the welcome sweets or the pudding sold there because I was too full!

The hospitality, meals, and Onsen were outstanding—this was a wonderful Ryokan. The service from the international staff was very polite, and everyone had such lovely smiles; it felt truly warm and welcoming. Highly recommended! As for the Onsen, there were an open-air bath, family baths (private baths), and an indoor bath. During our stay we used the family baths and the open-air bath—the open-air bath felt wonderfully spacious, and with three different family baths to choose from, we never got bored!

On Nokonoshima, we took a free bus to the beach and enjoyed swimming. Afterward, we told the reception that we were staying at Villa Sakimori, and they provided a free Shuttle Service for us. They also answered our questions by email in advance, so we felt comfortable using the service on the day. The Room was very clean and well maintained. The food was delicious, the service was pleasant, and it was an Accommodation we would like to visit again. However, since it is surrounded by nature, those who dislike insects should be aware.

The staff's service is very kind and excellent. The highlight of this Hotel is undoubtedly the sauna bath! With clean and well-maintained facilities, it provides relaxation for both body and mind. After warming up in the hot bath and sauna, step out onto the outdoor balcony, sit on a beach chair, and gaze at the night sky—it reveals a stunning view of sparkling stars.

We stayed in the Bridge Building, and it was an excellent Accommodation with abundant nature, well-equipped Facilities, and a spacious, clean bathroom. In the Front Building, there was complimentary ice cream as well as free-to-borrow cooking oil and seasonings. The staff were very friendly—when it was raining at check-in, they brought an umbrella out to our car, and at check-out several of them waved us off. It’s an Accommodation we would love to visit again if we have the chance.

This was my first time staying here, and the Facility was well equipped, so I had a very comfortable stay. I was able to forget about work and relax while watching the sunset and sunrise, and I truly felt refreshed. I was also impressed by the beauty of the Seto Inland Sea as seen from the cabin. I’ve been to various glamping sites, but so far this is the best. The only reason I deducted one point is that the shower area in the bathroom is a bit small. Next time, I’d like to try a Multiple Night Stay. Thank you very much.

The road to the Facility is a mountain road, and I was worried whether I was on the right track, but they kindly guided me over the phone. When we arrived, I was amazed by how beautiful the scenery was. The food was delicious, and everyone at the Facility was kind and attentive—an outstanding experience. They even took some great photo-worthy pictures for us, and my girlfriend and I made wonderful memories. I’d love to stay here again on a special occasion, so I look forward to coming back. Enjoy a comfortable stay with exclusive use of the entire house. An AEON store is next door, making it convenient for shopping, though the AEON grounds are large, so we recommend going by bicycle. Dinner at the neighboring sushi restaurant (owner-operated) is highly recommended—the fresh tuna is exceptional and we really enjoyed it.

We stayed for two nights on a family trip. The owner was very kind and attentive, and our whole family was truly happy with the fireworks and Onsen egg service! It turned into a very satisfying 2-night, 3-day trip! Thank you very much. This is an Accommodation we definitely want to use again!!!!

This was our third stay. Once again, both our dog and we were very satisfied. The owner is friendly, and you can really feel their love for dogs. Our dog happily ran around, got completely worn out in the pool, and slept soundly at night zzz. We enjoyed plenty of delicious food, ended up completely full, and slept soundly too zzz. (Everything is tasty, but we especially loved the breakfast and the soup.) This Accommodation is highly recommended for first-time stays with a dog or for families. Next time, we’d like to come with my parents.

Although the building is old, the interior has been thoughtfully renovated and is very comfortable! We stayed as a family of four, and both the bathroom and toilet were spotless, and the futons were fluffy! It’s right in front of the station, so getting out and about was easy—we loved it. The parking lot is also spacious. We come to Kazuno City every year, so we’ll stay here again.

This was my first stay, and not only was the Onsen excellent, but the meals were far better than I expected—I was truly impressed. The carp sashimi seemed to be a specialty, and it had no strong taste at all; it paired perfectly with vinegared miso and was delicious. Every dish went wonderfully with sake, and I also enjoyed comparing different types of sake. By the time the sukiyaki arrived at the end I was already full, but the beef was so good I somehow still had room for it. This has become a favorite Accommodation that I’d love to visit again.

My spouse and I stayed here as a couple. Because it’s an entire building reserved for private use, we could relax at our own pace without worrying about other guests, which was the best part. The Room was more spacious than we expected and beautifully kept, so we felt at ease as soon as we arrived. After using the sauna, we cooled down outside for a bit, then went back to the Room to unwind with a drink. It was also great that we didn’t pack our schedule and could truly enjoy some “doing nothing” time. It had a level of privacy that feels different from staying at a Hotel, making it perfect for spending quiet time together and talking. We’d love to come back again in a different season.

I stayed here for the first time on my last trip and it was very comfortable, so I chose this Accommodation again for a touring trip. At check-in, the front desk staff explained everything clearly, and the process was smooth. You can choose a frozen meal or ice cream from the freezer at the front desk. I picked pilaf and it was delicious. All amenities are also prepared at the front desk, and you take what you need yourself. The Room was clean like a Business Hotel, and both the bath and washlet toilet were spotless. The shower water pressure was strong, and the air conditioning worked well, so I had a very comfortable stay. Because it’s located along a main road, I used it for this motorcycle trip. It wasn’t under cover, but it’s easy to access, and the parking lot is spacious with an easy-to-park surface—so even beginners should have no trouble parking. There are gas stations nearby, as well as plenty of drugstores and restaurants, so shopping and dining are convenient. This is an Accommodation I’d like to stay at again.
