During our trip to Ise, we stayed at this Ryokan in Toba and had a truly wonderful time. From the warm welcome on arrival, the bus driver’s cheerful conversation helped us relax and made us feel comfortable from the very start of our journey. At the Ryokan, the Onsen was exceptional. I was so happy that my skin felt silky smooth that I ended up soaking six times—I couldn’t have been more satisfied. The staff also kindly gave us detailed advice for sightseeing the next day. They even considered train schedules, which helped us make the most of our limited time. Of course, we were completely satisfied with everything—the view from our Room and all of the meals. In every moment, we felt the staff’s thoughtful attention to detail, and it was clear that they are consistently well trained. Finding a Ryokan that genuinely made me think, “I want to stay here again,” is one of my favorite memories from this trip. Thank you very much to all of the staff. When we visit Ise and Toba again, we would love to stay with you.

It was a wonderful Hotel where we could truly enjoy Lake Biwa. The Room offered a panoramic view of Lake Biwa and felt incredibly open and airy. The interior also had a luxurious touch, and we genuinely enjoyed simply spending time in the Room. All of the staff provided excellent service, proactively checking in with us, so we never had any trouble during our stay. The Onsen was especially memorable. The water quality was excellent, and the view of Lake Biwa from the open-air bath was exceptional. On the day we stayed, a crescent moon reflected on the lake’s surface, creating an enchanting scene. The amenities were also high quality. We were very satisfied with the all-inclusive lounge as well. With its high ceilings and spacious atmosphere, enjoying drinks freely while looking out over Lake Biwa was truly fantastic. Dinner featured an outstanding full-course Omi beef meal—so much so that it felt like great value for what you get. There was also a wide selection of drinks, and we were especially happy to see many local sake options available. They paired perfectly with the fresh ingredients. Breakfast was a buffet featuring locally sourced ingredients with plenty of variety. The restaurant had ample seating, so we could dine comfortably without waiting while enjoying views of Lake Biwa. If I had one request, it would be helpful to have a Plan without dinner as an option—this would make it easier for guests on a Multiple Night Stay to enjoy dining out for one evening. For that reason, we changed our stay from two nights to one night this time; however, after actually staying here, it was such an excellent Hotel that we regretted not booking a Multiple Night Stay. Next time, we would definitely like to stay for multiple nights.

This was my third visit. On my previous two stays, I enjoyed sweeping views from the room of Matsushima’s vivid blue sea under a crystal-clear sky. This time, however, it rained throughout my 2-night, 3-day stay, and the sea was veiled in white mist; seeing the forecast the day before left me feeling down. Still, while the view outside the window didn’t meet my hopes, I was able to truly savor my time inside the Hotel instead. Sinking into the slightly hot, silky Onsen, I could feel everyday fatigue quietly melt away to the gentle sound of rain. Above all, the staff’s thoughtful and warm hospitality turned a rainy stay into something genuinely comforting. Please accept my heartfelt thanks. Meals are served buffet-style with live cooking finished right in front of you by the chef. Amidst the sizzling sounds and enticing aromas, it was a special luxury to enjoy each dish at its freshest and most delicious. Thanks to the all-inclusive plan, I could pair wine, beer, shochu, highballs, and sake with each course without worrying about extra charges—an absolutely blissful experience. Regardless of the weather, this Hotel’s high-quality Onsen and dining—along with its staff’s sincere dedication to guests—ensure a deeply satisfying stay. I can wholeheartedly recommend it. I’m already looking forward to returning and seeing what kind of Matsushima awaits next time.

We stayed in Angel’s Ladder Type A. Just as the Reviews said, the Room, open-air bath, and indoor bath were all extremely satisfying. The meals were excellent—abalone, spiny lobster, and steak. The staff were also very attentive, and we had a very pleasant stay.

We had to cancel our Okinawa trip due to a typhoon. Then I remembered Iojima, which my husband’s mother had recommended, and looked it up. Because it was last-minute, the only availability was a BBQ Plan in a dog-friendly Room, but we made a Reservation anyway—and it turned out to be amazing! We don’t have pets, so I worried about odors or hearing dogs from other Rooms, but everything was spotless and we didn’t notice anything at all. The Room also had an ocean view and felt incredibly refreshing. For dinner, we thought two days of BBQ in the summer heat might be too much, so we asked the front desk—just in case—if we could change one day’s meal. They kindly accommodated us, and on the second night we were able to enjoy a course dinner. (This may have been because we originally booked an upgraded option above the standard BBQ.) The BBQ itself was delicious with plenty of variety, and eating while looking out at the sea was fantastic. For breakfast, we could choose from three different restaurants with different menus. Guests could also enjoy complimentary lemon water and chilled tea at various spots around the island. There were lots of activities: sports and games in the gym; ocean athletics and marine sports (extra charge) by the beach; a manga corner near the baths; an indoor pool; Onsen facilities; and even an open-air bath with ocean views. We truly had an incredible three days. Since each area is spread out, you can rent bicycles for free, and there is also a shuttle bus that circulates around the island. All of the Accommodation staff were kind and attentive, helping us create wonderful family memories. Thank you very much.

It was a wonderful stay. From the pleasant feel of the hallway carpet, to the spacious Room, everything was great. Above all, the cleanliness was outstanding—just what you would expect from the Imperial Hotel Group. If I had one request (which may be asking too much), the duvet felt a bit too thick for the season. It can be hard to get that balance right. I plan to stay around Akasaka again next year, so I will definitely return.

With only a small number of Rooms, we were able to enjoy the Facility without much contact with other guests. As for the baths, we were able to take our time and enjoy all of them—the private open-air bath, the in-room open-air bath, and the in-room indoor bath. We’d also like to try the stone sauna next time. There were hours when we could use the lounge for beer, alcohol, coffee, and more. Although we couldn’t make it for cocktail time, we still made good use of it. It would be even better if the lounge stayed open a little later. Every dish had a gentle flavor and there was an impressive variety; everything was delicious and beautifully presented, so we enjoyed it with our eyes as well. Being able to choose three desserts ourselves was also great. Because we could dine at a relaxed pace, the portions felt just right and everything was very tasty. The Room was so clean that it didn’t feel like 15 years had passed at all, and we stayed very comfortably. If I had to mention one thing, it would be that the wash area was a bit small. We also appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as having separate towels prepared for the open-air bath and the indoor bath. We would definitely like to stay again. Thank you very much.

I have stayed here many times. The Room is clean, with a separate bath and toilet, and high-quality amenities such as face masks and bath salts are fully provided. The slippers are also of good quality. There is also a compact massage device in the Room, which is excellent.

This Hotel is perfect in every way—from the Room size and hospitality to all services and cleanliness. It was the best Hotel I have ever stayed at. I felt the price could easily be twice as high. Above all, it was calm and relaxing, with only Japanese adults staying there, which helped me truly unwind. I would love to visit again.

This is a historic Accommodation, yet the staff are full of energy, and operations from check-in to check-out are efficient with no wasted time. The seasonal cuisine is truly delicious, and getting to the various baths is an adventure—through maze-like corridors and, in some areas, even across a suspension bridge. It’s packed with excitement! You can have a wonderful stay just at Kikuya alone, making it an Accommodation you’ll want to visit again and again. Both check-in and check-out are well designed and smooth, so there’s no waiting—excellent! Thank you very much for taking such great care of us again.

Although the price was a bit higher during the Obon season, it was a very clean Hotel. The bath was also great, with an open and relaxing outdoor bath. Breakfast had a wide selection and was very delicious. The cleaning was thorough as well. I would like to stay again.

I have stayed at many Hotels and Ryokan with ocean views, but this was one of the most memorable. The views from the Room and the open-air bath were outstanding—thanks to the Hotel’s hilltop location with nothing obstructing the scenery, as well as the serene beauty of the Seto Inland Sea itself. There are very few man-made structures nearby, and the landscape created by the scattered islands is truly stunning. In the distance, we could see bridges of the Shimanami Kaido and parts of Imabari’s townscape, while boats passing below from time to time added a lovely touch to the view. I felt this Hotel is well worth staying at even just to relax and take in this scenery. Because it was listed as “Casual” on IKYU, I initially imagined a standard Hotel that simply highlights its views. In reality, however, we experienced warm, unpretentious hospitality from all staff members. Dinner was not a typical set menu; it showed thoughtful creativity throughout and was delicious. Breakfast was buffet-style, and in particular, I still remember how wonderful the locally harvested blueberries were. This time we rented a car at Hiroshima Station: on our first night we stayed at a Ryokan on Etajima; on day two we toured Takehara before taking a ferry over and enjoying beautiful Setouchi island views from Mount Kamimine prior to check-in. The next day we visited Okunoshima to spend time with its rabbits, then headed home via Mihara to Hiroshima Airport. The Hotel was also extremely convenient as a base for sightseeing routes starting from Hiroshima City toward Kure, Takehara, and Mihara—and we were fully satisfied with every aspect: scenery, dining, and hospitality.

The dinner restaurant was delicious, and it was great that complimentary non-alcoholic drinks were available. It would have been nice to have water in the Room.

All staff were very kind and welcoming, always with a smile. Since it was extremely hot, I really appreciated that the air conditioning was running well when I entered the front desk area at check-in in the evening. There was a welcome drink, and while the Hotel grounds seemed small, it was perfect for us as we were only staying overnight after sightseeing—compact and comfortable. Recently I often choose places with a large public bath, but this time there was a semi-open-air bath, so I could relax without worrying about anything and recover from my fatigue. They had a full lineup of ReFa products; outlets, cables, and towels were provided in two separate areas; it was eco-friendly with no plastic bottles; the alternative cups were easy to use; and there were water dispensers on each floor. I didn’t use them, but it also seemed possible to do laundry and drying. There is a small rooftop area where you can see Sakurajima—I was truly impressed. Great value for money, clean and well maintained, with an excellent location—this is an Accommodation I would definitely like to stay at again. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

The check-in staff were very welcoming, and our stay started off on a great note! The Room was spotless, and the dinner and breakfast were so delicious they truly impressed us—making it an amazing time. We will definitely be back. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.

Thank you very much. I couldn’t book a Hotel in central Kyoto at the last minute, so I stayed at this Hotel in Kameoka that I had been interested in. Everyone’s hospitality was outstanding. During my Multiple Night Stay, I put up the card indicating that cleaning was not needed, but when I happened to meet the staff while they were cleaning other Rooms and hanging fresh towels on the doorknobs, they kindly and politely asked, “Would you like us to replenish drinks? Is there anything you’re missing?” I was truly happy—this is the first time I’ve stayed at a Hotel with such excellent staff service. The hot stone sauna and spa were very relaxing. Breakfast was simple with just the right selection, and I was impressed that the menu changed during my Multiple Night Stay. One note: since there is no elevator to access the hot stone sauna and spa, it may be a bit difficult for guests with disabilities.

We stayed here for our wedding anniversary. The Room was spacious, and we loved the greenery visible from the window. The meals were, as always, reliably delicious, and we were especially touched that you even prepared an anniversary plate for us this time. All of the staff were kind, making our stay very comfortable. With the private bath service included, along with early check-in and late check-out, we fully enjoyed our Diamond member benefits. This is an Accommodation we would definitely love to stay at again.

I stayed here to watch a professional baseball game at ES CON Field. The game ran long and I checked in late, but the staff handled it pleasantly. I was also very satisfied with the large public bath. The price was a bit high, but I added breakfast. There were local Hokkaido dishes such as soup curry, herring, and seafood. I was very satisfied. After breakfast, it felt great to take a walk around Nakajima Park. When I stay in Hokkaido again, I would definitely like to stay here again.

I got a little lost from the station, but the front desk staff gave me clear and polite directions, so I think I’ll be able to get there without getting lost next time. It’s almost directly connected via the Tokyo Station underground mall, which makes it very convenient. It was also great that there are plenty of convenience stores and restaurants around the Hotel. There was construction nearby, but there was no noise at all and it didn’t bother me. The complimentary drinks and amenities were of a very high standard, with an excellent selection that women in particular will appreciate. The Room was compact yet spacious, clean, quiet, and very comfortable. I stayed for only one night this time, but it was a good Hotel that I’d like to use again when booking Accommodation around Tokyo Station. Thank you very much.

We stayed here as a family to celebrate my and his birthdays. The Room was spacious, and everything—the toilet, bath, beds—was impeccably clean. The open-air bath was also at the perfect temperature, and it was clear it had been thoroughly cleaned. We ordered the BBQ and breakfast! The Awaji beef was excellent quality—tender and absolutely delicious. All the other dishes provided were stylish as well, and each paired perfectly with wine. I wondered if it would be enough… but it was more than enough—we couldn’t finish everything! I debated choosing No Meals Included and bringing our own ingredients, but I’m really glad we ordered the meals. If I had to mention one thing… there weren’t many dishes. In the morning, we planned to enjoy Sora Villa’s special sandwiches with coffee and onion soup, but there were only four mugs, so I wished there had been bowls for soup. In the morning too, we soaked in the open-air bath while listening to the waves rolling in around sunrise, then relaxed on the terrace with drinks and conversation. We were able to spend a truly relaxing and elegant time. Next time, we’d like to bring our dog as well—and visit again together.
