I don’t travel very often, so this may not be the best reference, but among the Hotels I’ve stayed at in various prefectures, this was the best. I was surprised that welcome drinks and alcohol were available to enjoy freely! If I had to mention one downside, it would be that the sink was small, and sometimes water splashed onto the floor when washing my face. All of the front desk staff were polite and kind, and my whole family praised them highly. I’d love to stay here again if I have the chance.

Used this Accommodation while sightseeing around Tokachi. It is located beside Lake Kuttari at the headwaters of the Tokachi River, and with a campground nearby, the location was excellent. The Hotel felt brand-new throughout, with well-equipped Facilities, and it was a more impressive Accommodation than expected. The meals were also very delicious. The water in the open-air bath was pleasant, and it was wonderful to feel nature up close. The staff were kind as well, and I think this is an Accommodation I can recommend.

I love this Accommodation so much that I stay almost every month. This month, I stayed as a birthday treat for myself. I am always impressed by the wonderful hospitality from the front desk and dining staff. Thank you for celebrating my birthday and for the message card and celebratory plate! I stayed at this Hotel after returning from the Awa Odori festival. I watched Awa Odori from paid seating, and before I could even enjoy the afterglow, I headed to the bus stop—only to find there was just one bus per hour. On top of that, people rushed on without lining up, and after being jostled on a packed bus, I arrived at the Hotel exhausted. The front desk staff welcomed me without showing any displeasure, and I slept soundly until morning! Breakfast was inexpensive yet delicious, with a wide variety of items. The massage chairs were also free to use, so I could relax with a massage until it was time to leave. Thank you for taking such good care of me.

We had the pleasure of staying at Yumoto Yukomaso, a member of the Japan Association for Protecting Secluded Hot Springs. The location, Onsen, and meals were all in perfect harmony at a consistently high level, allowing us to fully enjoy everything this Accommodation has to offer. What left the strongest impression was the Onsen overlooking lush spring greenery in a wonderfully rustic setting. Soaking in the water while surrounded by birdsong and the crystal-clear air of Mt. Asahidake was truly exceptional. The cuisine was also outstanding, showcasing the chef’s dedication—deeply flavorful dashi that brought out the best in each ingredient, and beautifully presented dishes plated with great care that conveyed genuine craftsmanship. Our Room was Superior Twin Room 401. We were soothed by birdsong and a refreshing breeze through the window, and thanks to their carefully selected spring water and comfortable mattress—together with the benefits of the Onsen—we felt deeply restored both body and mind. Our walk around Mt. Asahidake is also an unforgettable memory. This has become one of our favorite Accommodations, and we will definitely return.

I travel out many times throughout the year. I was truly won over by how delicious the food was here. The rice was cooked perfectly! Ayu sashimi (my first time), salt-grilled ayu (the seasoning, grilling, and timing of service), and even the soup—everything was flawless. From now on, your salt-grilled ayu will likely be my benchmark for taste. This may sound presumptuous, but I believe it’s simple dishes that really show a chef’s skill. The yukata in the Room were crisp and nicely starched, so even someone like me who doesn’t usually like yukata could wear it comfortably. I also appreciated the detox water after bathing.

Close to the station, clean, and I was very satisfied with the service. We also enjoyed the welcome drink and breakfast, and I think this price is an excellent value! The male staff member at the front desk was kind and courteous, and I will definitely stay here again. Thank you.

This stylish A-frame vacation home is in a very quiet location. It’s far more spacious than staying in a Hotel Room, and even our family of five could truly relax without feeling cramped at all. Thanks to the baby amenities you provided, our stay was genuinely comfortable and very helpful. We sincerely appreciate your thoughtful attention to detail. The Onsen is fed directly from the source, so it may feel hot at first, but you can quickly adjust it by adding water and enjoy an exceptional soak.

Although it’s a bit far from Shimoda Station, they offer not only a Shuttle Service from the station but also a Shuttle Service to Sotoura Beach. If you plan to relax nearby, you won’t feel inconvenienced at all even without renting a car. There is a complimentary drink bar inside the property, and it was great that we could even enjoy beer and highballs. The pool is also available, and all the staff were very kind and helpful. What stood out most was the excellent service for children. They handed out “Rock-Paper-Scissors Rally Cards,” and if kids won three times against staff members, they received fireworks. At night, we used them to have fun on the beach, and our child was absolutely delighted. Just as the Reviews we checked in advance said, this really is a wonderful Hotel. If we have another chance to visit Shimoda, we would definitely stay here again.

I stayed here on a solo trip. Everyone at the Accommodation was incredibly kind and helpful! The meals at the Accommodation were beautifully presented and delicious—I was very satisfied. I was surprised that the drinks in the Room were free! I enjoyed having alcohol on the terrace to cool off in the evening, and drinking oolong tea after a bath, haha. In the morning, I made drip coffee using hot water from the water dispenser and spent my time feeling refreshed. The Room was also very clean, and the in-room bath was an Onsen. There wasn’t any mold at all in the bathroom. The grout was spotless, the faucets were shiny, and even the drain was clean. The large public bath was great too—the design is lovely. This time my goal for the next day was visiting shrines, so I went to Ishigami-san, Hikodaki Daimyojin, and Isawa Shrine. They kindly explained nearby roads and how to get around, which helped a lot. What’s more, even after I had checked out, they actually ran after me just to give me a taxi company phone number. Thanks to that, I could take a taxi when traveling from Hikodaki Daimyojin to Isawa Shrine and arrived an hour earlier! They also recommended a very kind taxi company, so the driver told me what preparations I needed for visiting Isawa Shrine as well—and I made it up safely! It turned into such a wonderful trip! I’d definitely love to stay again!

We stayed for two nights during the Golden Week holidays. The staff were very welcoming, and we thoroughly enjoyed Nozawa’s hot springs in comfort. It’s an ideal location for visiting the public bathhouses. We would love to stay here again.

I stayed here to relax at an Onsen Accommodation. The homemade, heartfelt dishes were truly delicious. Dinner was great, but breakfast was especially memorable—the simmered royal fern, Tochio fried tofu and bamboo shoots, and simmered potatoes were outstanding. The potato salad was also excellent; the woman next to me had finished hers and asked for seconds, so I requested an extra serving as well. After bathing, I opened the Room window and enjoyed the pleasant night breeze from the satoyama countryside, soothed by a chorus of frogs. I was very satisfied!

It was great that I could take my dog for a normal walk. The Room was also cleaned well, and my dog relaxed without any fuss. The bath had a larger tub than a Business Hotel, and the shampoo and other amenities provided had a pleasant herbal scent. Being able to eat in the Room was also nice because my dog didn’t feel lonely. Even though it has an auto-lock, I accidentally went out without my key, and they came to unlock it for me twice. They helped me without showing any annoyance, which I really appreciated. I’m glad there were places nearby for walks. The cakes from the cake shop just a 1-minute walk away were delicious too.

It was my first stay in two months. Everything was clean, and I had a comfortable stay. The Room mirror had been changed to a different one than before, and it was very convenient for doing my makeup. Also, the gentleman at the front desk greeted me with a wonderful smile, which made me feel welcome. I’m planning to visit again in autumn.

I visited again after three years to enjoy the full tiger puffer course. It is delicious every time, and I never get tired of it. The hassun, soup dish, and takikomi rice were also excellent, and I ended up drinking quite a lot again. Of course, the ara course and other courses are also very tasty, but I still think Yoyokaku’s tiger puffer course is the best. The staff and everyone at the Accommodation were very pleasant, and the building and garden felt spacious and relaxing, so I was able to unwind once again. Thank you for upgrading us to a wonderful Room.

The hospitality felt more like a luxury Ryokan than a temple lodging. Our Room was upgraded to a special suite, and we were able to relax in the spacious “Hojo” Room overlooking an expansive garden. The shojin-ryori cuisine was beautifully presented and delicious throughout. After dinner, we took a short walk (about 3 minutes) to Danjo Garan. With bonfires lit and the area illuminated, we caught a glimpse of Kobo Daishi’s mandala world through sights such as Konpon Daito, Saito Pagoda, and Kondo Hall. The next morning, we joined the morning service from 6:00 a.m., which felt truly solemn and moving. The Dharma talk by Archbishop Miyata explained Buddhism from a global perspective with humor, making it easy to understand. I strongly feel that Koyasan is best experienced with an overnight stay. I stayed for one night on March 29. I chose March because it was just before the spiny lobster fishing ban. This time I booked a luxurious spa Plan, so it was pricey, but it was absolutely worth the cost. The cuisine, spa, Onsen, Room Facilities, and service were all top-tier. As expected from HIRAMATSU, every dish was delicious. The dish made with the spiny lobster head felt a bit heavy for me, but everything else was perfect. The spiny lobster bisque at breakfast was outstanding. The bread and butter at both dinner and breakfast were also excellent. The spa was wonderful—comparable to the Mandarin Hotel’s spa. The Onsen and Room Facilities were also superb; there is nothing to complain about. Service from the manager, head chef, staff, and spa team was flawless. I’d like to return next year during abalone season. I recommend avoiding weekends at the end of March. That’s when F1 Japanese Grand Prix qualifying and the race are held at Suzuka, so Nagoya Station gets extremely crowded and nearby roads are heavily congested. On top of that, Ise Jingu Naiku Shrine was also packed due to a yokozuna dedication sumo event—but I consider it a good experience overall.

I requested allergy accommodations, and I am truly grateful for the kind and attentive support you provided. Also, the way you interacted with our child was incredibly respectful—treating them as an individual. You gently answered all their questions while expanding on the conversation, and it seems they not only made new discoveries but also genuinely enjoyed connecting with people. After waving goodbye until you were out of sight, they even burst into tears. This is an Accommodation I can wholeheartedly recommend to families with children!! The curry you served our child at dinner was delicious!

We stayed in the largest Room with five people! It was comfortable, with private spaces as well. We were impressed to find three toilets and a sauna. The stylish space, well-stocked amenities, and spotless cleanliness throughout made our stay very comfortable. Thank you to all the staff for your help. We would love to stay again.

Last summer, we stayed here for the first time and our whole family was thrilled to enjoy such an extraordinary getaway, so this year we extended our stay to three nights. Since we thought we might not make it by check-in time, we let them know we would be late, and they responded very pleasantly. Check-in was until 6:00 PM, but when we arrived around 7:00 PM and went to reception, the staff greeted us with a wonderful smile and said “Welcome back,” providing truly perfect service. Right after checking in, as we drove out for dinner, we noticed that the decorative lights that had been on earlier were now off—and realized they had turned them on as a landmark to help us find reception. We felt sorry for the trouble and were impressed by how thoughtful the staff were. Because we have a dog, we chose a type with a large dog run and BBQ facilities, and it exceeded our expectations. The Room was spacious and spotless, amenities were well prepared, and it was so perfect it was hard to find anything to complain about. We’d love to keep using it like a vacation home in the future, and I think it’s also ideal for multiple families or three-generation trips.
