We stayed in the dome during midsummer in the Kanto region in July. The temperature was about 5–6°C cooler, and the dome was fully equipped with air conditioning, so we were able to stay very comfortably. We could also watch app videos on the projector, and some Plans allow pets. It was amazing.

This was my first stay at Yulax, and it was even better than I imagined. First, the cold plunge. It’s properly cold, and above all it’s deep—being fully enveloped by the water feels incredible. Hitting the MADMAX button and getting drenched with a huge rush of water from head to toe is also amazing—I could do that again and again (laugh). The sauna itself is truly relaxing, and the aufguss at “THIS IS IT” especially stayed with me. The music, heat, and performance make it feel less like a sauna and more like live entertainment. That experience alone made the trip worth it. What unexpectedly left an impression was the other guests. I got the sense many were in their 20s to 40s, and everyone had excellent manners. It felt like there are many people who love saunas and genuinely care about this place. It’s a comfortable space not only because of the Facility, but also because of the people who gather here. Including that atmosphere, I couldn’t help but feel that what the owner wanted to create—their vision—has truly taken shape. The relaxation areas are well equipped too, so you can unwind for hours after your sauna session. The food was very satisfying; in particular, the mapo tofu was generous in portion size and genuinely delicious. Even aside from eating after a sauna, it’s something I’d want to have again. The parking lot is spacious as well, which makes it easy to visit by car. Yulax wasn’t just a place to use a sauna. It’s somewhere you can step away from work and everyday worries, clear your mind, and spend time for yourself. By the time I left, even my mood felt lighter. For me, it was “a place where I can find myself again.” I definitely want to come back.

I had a very comfortable stay. I stay here every year for work and spend a lot of time in the room, but the amenities such as an air purifier make it easy to focus on desk work. I look forward to staying again next year.

The ocean stretches out right in front of the balcony, and it was beautiful to watch how the view changed over time. In the evening, there was a live Okinawan music performance by the pool. We could hear it from our room, and together with the sunset it made for a wonderful time. After that, we had dinner on the second floor, and the same performer who had been singing by the pool also sang in the restaurant. I wish there had been a bit more support from the staff—such as applauding or helping create a more lively atmosphere.

I had a few concerns before our visit, but the Room and the view from the Room were outstanding. However, the Hotel was fully booked on the day we stayed, and with the rain as well, it was extremely crowded in front of the Hotel entrance. Since I was visiting with my grandchild, I felt things could have been handled more efficiently. The dining venue also required a designated time, but there was still a line. The food was very delicious, so that part was a bit disappointing. The large public bath was great. The open-air bath with its sky-high view was exceptional. We were very satisfied because it’s rare to have an opportunity—other than a private family bath—for everyone to bathe together while enjoying the scenery.

I always stay here when I’m in Osaka. I understand that breakfast can’t vary much, but even over two nights the only change is swapping yakisoba and spaghetti, so I’d appreciate a bit more variety. Compared to before, the fruit has been replaced with jelly, which feels a little disappointing, but I’m always full. The spa is excellent—you can enjoy it both before and after check-in and check-out. Personally, I think I prefer the Asian zone.

I visited again for the first time in 10 years. This is an Accommodation I used to visit occasionally in summer since childhood, and over the years I noticed changes with the times—such as the former dining area with live fish tanks and the sushi restaurant being gone, while Rooms with open-air baths have been added. Just as I remembered, the pool where small children can play safely and the wonderful sea—where you can see fish swimming even close to shore—are still there, and we thoroughly enjoyed the crystal-clear water. It’s a fantastic environment for a family summer trip. The nighttime Tsunoshima tour was also memorable; the guide’s explanations were detailed and very interesting. Highly recommended.

Used this Hotel to attend a concert at SUNDOME Fukui. It was just a short walk from Fukui Castle Ruins Daimyomachi Station. The Hotel is close to the station, but SUNDOME is quite far from Sundome-Nishi Station... The Room had a large bathtub, so I could fill it up and soak properly, which was great. If I go to Fukui again, I’d like to stay here again—excellent value for money and a very clean, well-maintained Hotel.

The Facility was beautifully maintained with well-kept trees and flowers, giving it a tropical vibe, and it was fun to stroll around while music played. Both breakfast and dinner offered a good variety and were delicious. I’m glad we chose a Room that included tickets to a nearby Onsen. It had many different baths, was spacious, and was excellent.

The hot spring water felt gentle on the skin and very pleasant. I stayed in the “Japanese-Modern Junior Suite (Japanese-Western Style)” room, and for this price it was an excellent value—there was even a cypress bath, the room was bright, spacious, and nicely renovated, and in-room drinks such as water and coffee were provided free of charge. It was also nice to see thoughtful touches like towels prepared in a carry bag. That said, for an onsen ryokan I would have liked a haori jacket, and since it is a Western-style room, I think having chairs to sit on is essential. I hope for a little more improvement from the guest’s perspective. Meals were buffet-style for both dinner and breakfast; there was a wide selection of dishes and the service was polite and pleasant.

The TVs have been upgraded, which I think has made the stay more comfortable. However, I have two concerns: 1) The loungewear feels outdated, heavy, and not very clean. I would really like to see this improved. 2) As others have mentioned, check-in is always handled from behind the front desk counter, which has bothered me. Being given self check-in instructions across the counter feels awkward. (I think staff should stand on the guest side when explaining self check-in. Explaining it from behind the counter can feel a bit discourteous. At other hotels, someone is always on the guest side and provides careful guidance on how to use the check-in machine.)

Since we started traveling as a family, we often visit Kinugawa and Nasu, and we always stay at Hotel New Shiobara. This time was also Hotel New Shiobara. Since becoming premium, it has become even more comfortable. Above all, our children really love this hotel. The buffet meals, the baths, and the overall atmosphere inside the Hotel are all excellent. The newly opened lounge is also great. We plan to stay here again whenever we visit Nasu. Thank you as always.

I stay here every two months.\nThe building is clean and well maintained, and I’m always satisfied whenever I visit.\nIt’s also close to Yubatake and the Onsen town, so I keep coming back again and again.\nThe food is delicious, and the staff provide excellent service.\nThank you as always for the wonderful memories.

It was disappointing that the bidet toilet seat wasn’t working. However, I accidentally left something behind in the room, and they kindly shipped it so it arrived the next day, which was a huge help. The food was delicious, and I was able to relax and unwind away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

The location is close to the station, and there is a partnered parking option, so transportation access is excellent. Since our room faced the station side, we couldn’t see the harbor, but depending on where you sit in the restaurant, you can see naval ships. It was fun to take a naval port cruise from the shopping mall right in front of the hotel, so I wish we had booked a bay-view room. A great feature of the room is the large refrigerator with plenty of freezer space, which is convenient for storing souvenirs or food you want to eat in your room. There was also a microwave, though we didn’t use it. You can hear a little train noise, but it didn’t bother us and we slept well. We appreciated that the rates don’t spike even on Saturdays. The staff at both the front desk and restaurant were kind and helpful. Thank you very much.

Welcome drinks, especially the cold sake, were a delightful touch appreciated by the host. Although the walk to the bath was a bit long, guests could choose their yukata, and the men's and women's baths alternated daily for added variety. The Room was a spacious Japanese-Western style, and dinner was served in just the right portions. After check-out, guests could relax in the lobby or garden at their leisure.

Thank you for accommodating our requests from the time of booking. My family was delighted with the dinner surprise, and we were very happy with it. We were able to relax. The stairs to the large public bath felt a little scary.

This was my first stay here. Although it was listed as “limited availability due to exterior construction,” it didn’t bother me at all. (The view from the large public bath was more than enough!) The Japanese-style room was spacious, and I felt truly pampered. The 15 m pool was small but still very satisfying, and the hot-spring public bath and sauna were excellent. I love walking around town, so I explored the covered shopping street from Ito Station on the way—and it felt like, “Wait, I’m already at the hotel?” I’d like to make this my regular place to stay whenever I visit Ito.

I stayed here quite a long time ago and had been waiting for it to reopen. Only the top floor (the rooftop open-air bath) was closed, but I felt the breakfast selection had improved compared to before. However, it was disappointing that the parking lot directly behind the Hotel was not the Hotel’s parking lot.

With its spacious facilities and lush natural surroundings, I was able to relax, unwind, and feel refreshed. The meals were also delicious, and I enjoyed the wide variety offered at the buffet. The bath was spacious and wonderful. After the bath, we had fun with table tennis and the manga corner. I would love to stay here again.
