A gourmet resort embraced by East Coast nature, where you can savor the sunrise, sea breeze, and unhurried time.

We stayed as a family, and it far exceeded our expectations—one of the most memorable hotel stays we’ve had in Japan. During our stay, when our child suddenly developed a fever, the staff responded quickly with flexible, warm, and attentive care. Thanks to their heartfelt support, we were able to relax and stay comfortable with peace of mind. We are truly grateful. The cuisine was outstanding—light and gentle on the body while fully bringing out the natural flavors of each ingredient. We have visited well-regarded food-focused inns such as renowned auberges on Yakushima, and this delivered an equally satisfying experience. In fact, it was so impressive that it even outshone the prestigious resort we visited the day before—the one known for its lion crest. We booked an entry-level room, but it was more than spacious enough and very comfortable thanks to its refined layout with no wasted space. The ocean-view jacuzzi on the terrace in particular felt wonderfully open and relaxing. (Please note: the sea directly in front of the hotel is not a location where you can simply walk in and swim/play right away, so those planning a trip centered around beach activities may want to keep this in mind.) We regularly visit many different styles of resorts both in Japan and abroad, but one night here felt far too short. It’s a place that makes us want to return every year—and ideally stay for several nights at a leisurely pace. When we visit Okinawa again, we will definitely return. Thank you very much for such a wonderful time.

Surrender to tranquility and savor the seasons. Enjoy deep relaxation with creative Japanese cuisine and natural Onsen.

We stayed here to coincide with my husband’s refresh leave for his 5-year work anniversary. Because it’s in a quiet location and has only a small number of rooms, it was the perfect place for us as a dual-income couple to escape our busy daily routine and enjoy truly luxurious time together. The in-room bath was very spacious, and we could relax comfortably as a couple. Above all, the hot spring water felt wonderful and left our skin silky smooth. Since it’s a semi-open-air bath, we found it especially comfortable. At many other inns, private open-air baths or in-room open-air baths often have the washing area outside as well, but here you can simply open the window to make it semi-open-air—so we didn’t end up shivering while washing. During our one-night stay, we used the bath five times; even at checkout, we wished we could soak one more time and were sad to leave. The washbasin area was also spacious, so we could both get ready slowly in the morning. The meals were beautifully presented and delicious: sashimi with carefully crafted sauces, many bite-sized seasonal dishes served in a basket arrangement, and seasonal chestnut rice cooked on the spot. Breakfast was also very filling—the grilled fish and tofu were especially good. Yukata were provided as loungewear, but since I tend to get a cold stomach easily, I thought it would be nice if there were pants-style options like samue. Also, since this trip fell during our wedding anniversary month, I felt an anniversary plan would be appreciated. It wouldn’t need to be elaborate—something simple like an celebratory message on a dessert plate or taking a photo and gifting it in a small frame would make for a lovely keepsake. All of the staff were courteous and warm-hearted in their hospitality, which made this trip extremely satisfying.

Enjoy 100% natural Onsen with free-flowing hot spring water in a large open-air bath, panoramic bath, or private bath. Savor Shinshu cuisine served in your room at this accommodation.

Having read the Reviews in advance, I was aware of what to expect, but my companion was very surprised by the contrast between the front desk atmosphere and the impression of the Room. The day-use bathing area feels lively like a busy public bathhouse, while the guest Rooms were calm and comfortable. Because we visited on a weekday, the large public bath was not crowded and very relaxing. The only thing that bothered me slightly was seeing someone brushing their teeth at the washing area. Even so, I was truly impressed by the abundant flow of free-flowing Onsen water straight from the source. When I visit around Nagano Station for work in the future, I would love to stop by again even just for a day-use bath. The Room was flawlessly comfortable, and the private indoor bath was very spacious. I was also amazed by how much hot water it had. Dinner was served in-room, so we could relax without worrying about others, and we thoroughly enjoyed the delicious dishes with thoughtful touches. The staff member who served us was friendly and made it a pleasant time. At breakfast, it was also nice to be able to choose between rice porridge cooked with Onsen water and regular steamed rice. Please note that there are no amenities provided in the large public bath area (including makeup remover), so bringing your own is recommended. The in-Room amenities are also provided for one use (one day) only, so if you plan to bathe multiple times, it may be reassuring to bring extras. Overall, it was a highly satisfying stay.
