I was so happy to stay here again after a while, and I had a wonderful time. As always, I truly appreciated the friendly, warm hospitality of the staff. This time we were also treated to a beautiful view of Mt. Fuji, which left me feeling refreshed both physically and mentally! In addition, SCAPES’ original skincare products are excellent—I used the serum and toner thoroughly after my bath and my skin felt beautifully radiant. I can’t wait to come back again soon.

We had a very comfortable stay. The property was spotless, the room was well maintained, and the spacious bathroom with a sauna was very relaxing. The rice cooker, toaster, and coffee maker were all Balmuda appliances, which made everything easy to use. We would love to stay again if we have the chance.

At IKYU, it was categorized as casual, but we enjoyed a luxurious Onsen experience that felt like staying at a private villa. The Room had a spacious washroom, and the toilet being separate was also convenient. The heater in the Room was turned on in advance, so we stayed warm without needing to use the air conditioner. Various thoughtful touches were noticeable throughout, and I heard that adjustments are made regularly. It had such a pleasant atmosphere that made us wish to stay longer. Here are some points of concern: It would be helpful if spare foot mats were provided for the private bath so they can be replaced after use. The abundance of wash towels was very convenient. A single fresh flower in the Room would add charm since there were flowers in the dining area. During meal service, providing more details about local ingredients or cooking methods would be appreciated by travelers—it may require extra effort from staff but makes for enjoyable conversations while savoring meals. Having a menu list would also enhance the dining experience further.

There is no large public bath, but every Room has its own Onsen, and it was easy to adjust the temperature. I was able to relax and enjoy the Onsen at my leisure in the open-air bath. Overall, it was a stay that made me want to visit again. For dinner, we ordered sukiyaki. The beef was very well-marbled yet extremely easy to eat—light and melt-in-your-mouth—and the portion size was just right to finish comfortably. Breakfast was a bit light and on the smaller side, but since dinner is meat-focused, I felt it was well balanced. The only disappointing point was that perhaps because it is for men only, there were no skincare items like toner or lotion in the Room. When traveling, it’s inconvenient to carry these so I usually don’t bring them; at high-end Ryokan these days they are typically provided everywhere, so I was surprised they weren’t available. Even women’s versions would be fine—I think you should provide them. Those who don’t need them simply won’t use them. Other amenities such as heated eye masks and facial packs were very well stocked.

It was a wonderful place with no boundaries between people and dogs, and my wife, our dog, and I all had an incredibly satisfying day. The joy of being able to run freely anywhere on the vast grounds, along with an environment that truly removes the distance between people and their dogs, is simply ideal. We were filled with a deep sense of happiness—almost as if we were getting a head start on experiencing our “ideal lifestyle.” We’ve become huge fans of VILLA SEDONA!, and we would love to make it an annual tradition for our family to return every year. Next time, we plan to stay for multiple nights at a more relaxed pace. To all the staff, Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for welcoming us with outstanding facilities and such a wonderful setting. Our whole family is already looking forward to visiting again. We’re repeat guests for the cats, delicious food, and the cozy comfort of having everything you need right in the Room. This time my husband came with us too. The kids were thrilled with the maisonette and the open-air bath. We also love the skincare amenities such as lotion—they’re from a brand we like. We were so happy to finally spend time with the cats again. Since this was our first summer stay, we were told, “You might find stag beetles on the balcony,” and there were so many (surprisingly)! We took some home and are taking good care of them. Thank you for all your thoughtful consideration. Dinner was served at perfect timing—hot dishes hot and cold dishes cold—and my husband really enjoyed how delicious everything was. For breakfast we chose Japanese this time; the clay-pot rice selected by a rice meister was outstanding. Our child asked for seconds again and again. Everything was perfect except that the children’s pajamas we borrowed felt smaller than expected for their size. Thank you as always for your warm welcome—it made for an amazing start to our summer vacation. We’d love to come back again.

We stayed again this time with my elderly parents. They are both big fans of Zabo, and had been looking forward to the trip from the moment we booked. We truly had a wonderful time, including the shuttle service, and we sincerely thank you. The comfort of the room, the delicious meals, the hot spring that left our skin silky smooth, and above all the exceptional thoughtfulness of the staff made my parents extremely happy. We would love to visit again.

This was my first stay, and I was very satisfied. The hotel and the room were both very clean and comfortable. The staff were always smiling, which made me feel cheerful. The shuttle service to Kanazawa Station and the hotel’s dedicated lockers near the station were very convenient.

The front desk staff were wonderful! Even though we checked in after midnight, they kindly accommodated us. We stayed here the night before heading to Kusatsu Onsen. This time, our family used the Special Room. As soon as we entered the Room, it was incredibly spacious!!! The bathroom in particular was huge and amazing!! There were plenty of amenities, which was really helpful—and when we opened the refrigerator, there were complimentary drinks!! There were also cup udon noodles on the table for each of us!! The service was excellent and we were very satisfied! For this price, the Room size and service are more than enough. A truly satisfying Hotel!! We would love to stay again.

We chose this property because we wanted a room with a private bath and were also attracted by the lounge, and it exceeded our expectations. I traveled with my elderly mother. After informing the property in advance, they prepared higher chairs in our room, and the stay was truly attentive in every way. The amenities were adorable, and it was fun to choose from them. The meals were delicious; I couldn’t finish the matsutake mushroom rice, but they kindly made it into rice balls for me to enjoy later. The hot spring was also wonderful—the gentle sulfur scent was soothing and made for a relaxing trip. The staff greeted us with warm smiles, and we had a very comfortable stay. This is an accommodation I would recommend to friends.

My spouse and I stayed for one night. It would have been even better if our Room had a sofa, but the bath was indoors and an Onsen, already filled for us. The staff member who guided us also provided a thorough and helpful explanation. The meals were wonderful both dinner and breakfast, and we truly felt pampered. Since we dined in a private room, we couldn’t eat while looking out at the sea, which was the only disappointment. We have stayed at many Hotels, but this had the best food of all. We happened to visit Shimonoseki this time and found this Hotel by chance, but next time we will travel specifically to stay here.

I visited Shiobara Onsen with my 84-year-old mother from Taiwan on a family trip. The inn is quiet and cozy, with only 11 rooms. Thanks to the staff’s warm hospitality, my mother felt at ease throughout our stay. Dinner was a kaiseki meal made with seasonal ingredients, and this time we chose the rare soft-shelled turtle course. I was surprised when they even served soft-shelled turtle blood, but it became a memorable food experience unique to traveling. The hot springs are 100% free-flowing from the source. We stayed in the “Izumo” room, a spacious guest room overlooking the Hoki River, with both an open-air bath and an indoor bath. The two private reservable baths were also large and beautiful, and what impressed me most was that my mother could enjoy the hot springs without worrying about others. The scenery, cuisine, hot springs, and hospitality were all wonderful—an unforgettable set of memories with my mother.

In Uchiko, Ehime Prefecture. After driving from Kochi, we arrived at the hotel; as soon as we pulled up, a staff member came right out and guided us. After an exceptionally smooth check-in, we didn’t add any sightseeing at all—we spent our time simply enjoying the hot springs, the special guest room, and reading. As it was a weekday right after Silver Week, there were hardly any overnight guests or day-use bath visitors, and we were able to savor the luxury of feeling as if the entire property belonged to just the two of us. Above all, dinner far exceeded our expectations. My wife was deeply moved by how delicious everything was—so much so that after the meal she even asked both the chef and sommelier to sign our menu. Not only was each dish outstanding in itself; its elegance on refined tableware conveyed a sense of care and intention in every plate. By candlelight at our table, we were able to take our time and fully enjoy both the food and drinks at our own pace. The in-room hot spring bath was also memorable—especially the haiku placed alongside it, which added a quiet resonance to our time in the water. Personally, I felt this inn’s appeal lies not in extravagance but in being able to truly enjoy “the luxury of doing nothing.” Visiting on a weekday allowed us to appreciate that value even more deeply.

The beautifully designed room was spotless and very relaxing. Soaking in the open-air bath while gazing at the garden was a slow, soul-warming experience. The dishes were beautifully presented, with carefully prepared dashi that brought out the best of each ingredient. For breakfast, we enjoyed freshly cooked white rice made in a clay pot. Above all, the staff’s warm smiles and thoughtful hospitality left a lasting impression. We were welcomed and seen off with genuine care. It was an even more wonderful stay than we had imagined. The room rate is certainly not cheap, but it felt well worth the price and more. We would love to visit again.

This time, I stayed for the fourth time to celebrate my birthday. I truly love this inn so much that I once gifted a stay here to my parents as well. The greatest pleasure of visiting is, without a doubt, the cuisine. Each dish is beautiful to look at and absolutely outstanding in flavor, and I’m moved every single time. Even my husband, who usually isn’t very interested in food, ends up saying “It’s delicious—this makes me want another drink,” and drinks a little too much (laugh). No matter how many times we come, it always makes us want to return just to enjoy these meals again. Since it was my birthday, they even arranged a wonderful celebration during dinner. The gorgeous presentation with gold flakes is apparently usually served with alcohol, but since I’m not great with alcohol they kindly prepared it with orange juice instead (first photo). They also gave me a celebratory gift and a commemorative photo—such warm thoughtfulness truly made me happy. And breakfast is exceptional as well. Not only dinner but breakfast is genuinely delicious; every time we are completely satisfied with every dish. Of course, everything beyond the food is wonderful too. The room is spotless and beautiful down to every detail, making it extremely comfortable. The room also has an open-air bath, which we love because we can relax and enjoy the hot spring together at any time without worrying about anyone around us. Meals are served at the same counter as other guests, but partitions are set between seats. Outside of meal times there are few chances to run into other guests, which makes it especially appealing for us to quietly enjoy unhurried time as a couple. All of the staff are always courteous, and thanks to their pleasant hospitality we can spend our entire stay feeling calm and relaxed. The cuisine, the room, and the hospitality—everything is excellent. It never disappoints no matter how many times we visit. Once again this birthday became an unforgettable and happy experience for me. I’m truly looking forward to returning. Thank you always.

Located roughly across the river from the Nagatoro Iwadatami (not within walking distance). This is a small, well-serviced Hotel surrounded by quiet woods with an atmosphere reminiscent of Karuizawa; though compact, it is well equipped and stocked with amenities. Dinner and breakfast are Japanese-style creative full-course meals, better suited to adults. Some Rooms feature private open-air baths, and there are also free private reservable baths, making it a good choice for guests who value privacy. The building is old, but filled with tasteful furnishings that create a charming ambiance. With only a few Rooms, the staff can provide attentive service to each party. Nights are very quiet, accompanied by the sounds of insects. There are two EV chargers (6 kW TerraCharge) in the guest-only parking area; if you drive an electric vehicle, it’s best to let them know in advance.

The staff, the Room, and the meals were all excellent, and I was very satisfied. You can’t see an Okinawa-style coastline from the Hotel, but that was fine since I enjoyed it during the day. Considering the price, it’s a perfect 100/100! I highly recommend this Hotel. It’s a Hotel I’d love to stay at again when I visit Okinawa.

I live in Kobe and have been hiking Mt. Rokko and the surrounding mountains frequently for many years. I often passed by “Ocean Terrace Ajisai” and had been curious about it for a long time. After reading the Reviews, the food looked absolutely delicious. So I made a Reservation for our wedding anniversary. The meals more than lived up to their reputation—beautifully presented, wonderfully flavorful, and truly outstanding. Both dinner and breakfast left us happily stuffed. Everything was delicious, but I was especially impressed by how surprising and exquisite the fig dengaku and peach potage were—and it was my first time in my life to be genuinely amazed at how incredibly good Narazuke could be. The dashimaki tamago that appeared with a burst of steam when they opened the bamboo mat was also exceptional. Everyone at the Accommodation was kind and attentive, sharing enjoyable stories that made us feel at ease. The view was slightly hazy when we arrived, but when I woke up around midnight and stepped out onto the terrace, there were the night lights from Kobe to Osaka—and a full moon! I was thrilled by both our good luck and its beauty. And in the morning, seeing trees wrapped in mist—Mt. Rokko like I’d never seen before—moved me again… I would love to stay again in a different season. When making the Reservation, I saw the Room size in square meters and assumed it would be compact, but I must have misread it—it felt very spacious and relaxing, which was wonderful too.

We stayed here as a couple to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. It was an even more wonderful hotel than we expected, and our stay—from arrival to departure—was satisfying from start to finish. As someone originally from Nagoya, the TV Tower has been familiar to me since childhood, though it has been 25 years since I left the city. I was truly surprised and moved that such a beautiful hotel had been created here. From the warm welcome on arrival, every member of staff was attentive and kind, and we felt comfortable throughout our stay. This time, we were upgraded to a larger room as a Diamond member benefit—what a lovely surprise! The welcome sweets were adorable and absolutely delicious. The view from the room was outstanding, of course. The art displayed throughout the hotel was also captivating, giving the entire property its own unique atmosphere. There were new discoveries everywhere we walked, and we thoroughly enjoyed the art tour as well. Searching for artworks together as a couple became a fun memory too (laugh). And the night view from the observation deck—an exclusive perk for guests—was truly breathtaking! We could take in all of Nagoya’s nightscape at once, making it an unforgettable moment. The hidden-door entrance leading up to the deck was incredibly stylish; its playful touch made us genuinely excited. Breakfast lived up to its reputation—delicious in every way—and we enjoyed a luxurious, happy morning while taking in the amazing view. My wife loved it too and said, “No.1 among all the hotels we’ve ever stayed at!” We’re truly happy to have found a hotel that satisfied both of us wholeheartedly. Thanks to everyone’s heartfelt hospitality, our 25th wedding anniversary became a wonderful memory we will never forget for the rest of our lives.
