Feel free to take a walk under a sky full of stars or head out for early-morning photography. Without worrying about anyone else, spend your precious “me time” at your own comfortable pace. A deliberately hands-off, comfortably indulgent “luxurious freedom”
Our Accommodation is a “hands-off” place that won’t intrude on your time. By stripping away excessive hospitality and, in a good way, leaving you to yourself, we offer the ultimate freedom and private relaxation—like coming home to your own vacation house.
There is intentionally no TV in the Room. By reducing everyday noise to zero, the sound of the wind outside the window, birdsong, and the luxurious “doing nothing” time of simply taking in the view can become your most memorable part of the trip. When you’d like a change of pace, please head to our small living area. It’s a simple space with a piano and a hill view through large windows. Enjoy a warm drink while looking out at the scenery, or quietly try playing the piano. With a different view from your Room, you can relax and spend time at ease.
On clear nights, enjoy a front-row seat to the sky at our full-scale observatory, where you can encounter a canopy of stars.
The property features an authentic astronomical observatory dome and telescope. Under Biei’s clear, light-pollution-free night sky, you can enjoy a breathtaking canopy of stars and seasonal constellations up close at your leisure.
Even on nights when the stars are hidden, you’ll discover a different kind of beauty—a gift of exquisite tranquility.
Even if the sky is cloudy or rainy and you can’t see the stars, there’s no need to be disappointed. On starless nights, this hill becomes its quietest and most peaceful.
