AB Hotel Inuyama

While looking for a Hotel near Inuyama,I found a great Hotel at an affordable price.Breakfast was included, and you won’t find that price elsewhere.The breakfast selection was good, and I left feeling full.The room was spacious, the interior was clean, and I could relax comfortably.Free parking is also a nice perk.It’s conveniently located for sightseeing around Inuyama Castle and even close to Gifu Castle,so I really enjoyed my stay.Thank you very much.

The Hotel is new, clean, and functional—more than sufficient for a Business Hotel. I stayed here as a base for visiting Meiji Mura on a solo trip after a long time. The bed and bathroom were comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. Even during a Multiple Night Stay, some breakfast items changed, so I didn’t get bored. Many guests seemed to be staying for work related to architecture or facilities, but there were also solo travelers like me, families, and couples. The staff were very kind and courteous, with wonderful smiles.From Meitetsu Inuyama Station it takes about 15 minutes on foot. Bus service is limited, but the Hotel is right in front of the first stop (“Tokihazama”) on the Gifu Bus route from Inuyama Station to Meiji Mura. In the morning I planned to board at Tokihazama, but I assumed all seats would already be taken by the time it reached that stop—so I walked back to Inuyama Station and boarded there instead. Thanks to that I got a seat; I don’t think I would have been able to sit if boarding at Tokihazama. I visited Meiji Mura two days in a row and covered the entire village; on the return bus from Meiji Mura, getting off at Tokihazama puts you right in front of the Hotel. However, near the Hotel there are only a 7-Eleven, Yakiniku King, and Starbucks or so. If you plan on having “Business Hotel drinks,” keep that in mind.I hope this helps travelers coming by train/bus rather than by car—especially solo travelers or those confident in their stamina—and those planning either “Business Hotel drinks” or dinner at Yakiniku King.I stayed in July when temperatures exceeded 38°C both days.Unrelated to this Hotel: if you want to see all of Meiji Mura thoroughly, it’s probably difficult to do in one day (depending on how you tour it and how interested you are in history).
